Several days before we left, I got a phone call from the owner wanting my zip code, which I thought was odd because it said the recommended form of payment was pesos. She asked if we wanted to charge it to the credit card, so I agreed. We got an email before we left Montana saying we could check in on Sept. anytime after 3 p.m. we arrived in San Felipe, MX after 4 days of travel and went to the location of the B&B. It was deserted. We walked into the courtyard, where there was a bag of garbage that was scattered, and everything was covered in dust. There was no note or sign that anyone was around. My husband asked for the phone number on his phone and called and left a message, since there was no answer. Then I called the number she called me from and got no answer, so I told her we were at the place, and no one was around. It was 95 degrees, and we had been traveling for 4 days, so wanted to get a room and relax. I said we would stay for half an hour, and if we didn’t hear from her, we would leave and find another place to stay. At 3:30, I left a note under the house number saying we were going to find another place to stay. Over an hour later when we were settled in our new room, she called and said she had an appointment so was not there. She asked why we didn’t call, and we told her we had called twice. She said she couldn’t answer because she was at an appt. My husbands asked her to refund our money since no one was there and there was no note. She said she was busy, but she would do it that night. She still has not refunded our money and told booking .com when she cancelled our appt. that we did not show up! Not true. She was the one who wasn’t at her business to check us in, and didn’t leave a note or answer the phone. I would never recommend this place. Honestly, we weren’t even sure it was open for business, as the courtyard was covered with dirt and garbage .

Easy to find and was secured. Sarah was very helpful but we really didn’t need anything but just a peaceful night of sleep. Close to Calimex and restaurants.

Host was lovely and very attentive. Beds were comfortable. You could walk to the Malecon.

My car was sort of blocked in in the morning. I was trying to get an early start. I managed to get out after moving some furniture to give me more room but it was pretty difficult. It was 6 am and was trying really hard not to disturb anyone

Awesome stay . The owners were very friendly almost felt like we were all just friends .! Really recommend this place .! Don’t miss out on a great stay at a reasonable price.

No cleaning the B&B after last guest. Sand on the floor, sinks not cleaned, refrigerator same, shower same, etc..
