Location was perfect. Host were very welcoming and nice. Food was phenomenal we loved it.

Fact that coffee was so slow with the old coffee maker nit available until 8 am. Dirty baseboard in bathroom. Soap shot out like water in bathroom and got my wife in the eye which just healed Thursday from Saturday. Pillows seem old and smelly. Covered them with towels. No TV other than main areas where owners hung out. Very low toilet for a tall man. Breakfast was okay, not healthy choices.

Really cosy house and room. Such a peaceful, rustic location. Excellent, delicious breakfast. Hosts were friendly and welcoming even though we arrived quite late.

The lake, very close to the property. Hosts were so kind and delicious breakfast We really appreciate they considered one of us is lactose intolerant and Adriana made a special breakfast...that is priceless!!

Breakfast was healthy and yummy. Hosts were very cordial. Location was terrific.

Just needed a new shower head in the bathroom but water pressure and temp was fine.

It felt so intimate and peaceful like I was visiting family even though I had just met Adriana and Jim. They were so sweet and personable and made me feel special since I was spending my birthday there. Parking was so easy, the breakfast was delicious, we could walk to the restaurant where we wanted to go, we had our own private entrance in the downstairs bedroom, everything was comfortable and clean, we even had our own little mini fridge. It was absolutely wonderful! I’ve already been recommending Old Bear to friends and I will definitely be back.

The only thing I might say in this section (but it’s not really a fixable thing) is the downstairs bedroom does not have a shower in the adjacent bathroom. It’s no problem at all to use the shower upstairs but I felt like I was invading other people’s space if I went upstairs.
