The condo is clean and simple. the couch was very comfortable and the bed was as well. awesome chess board. Also a nice location near to beautiful hiking and mountain biking.

while the condo is cute and clean, there were a number of issues that made it a poor value for the price. 1) there was a broken bedroom window that was taped over with cardboard. not a huge issue but I’m surprised that wasn’t called out ahead of time. 2) the fireplace didn’t work and the “support contact” I was given couldn’t help and offered no resolution. and there was no one on-site to assist. again, this should have been called out ahead of time. 3) the wifi was very unstable. while this wouldn’t be a problem if you were doing stuff outdoors for most of your stay, I needed to get some work done over my weekend and the poor wifi prevented that. I couldn’t hotspot off my phone bc there is no service there. 4) no service (for Verizon) anywhere in the area. 5) there was a wasp nest on the side of the building. 6) Red Awning, the property management company, sent me two different addresses, neither of which led me to the correct location. because I got there after dark, and there was no mobile service, I could not contact anyone to help and was forced to either drive an hour back to Beaver for a hotel or sleep in my car, which is what I did. I did manage to find one bar of service at the top of the hill to send a text to the “support contact” who didn’t respond until around 4 AM. I don’t fault her… It was after 11 when I texted for help. but the fact that I was sent conflicting addresses , combined with the fact that there are no addresses on any of the houses or condo buildings (only unit numbers) and the fact that there is no service in the area make it difficult to solve this problem once you are there. Calling out that GPS is incorrect, the lack of cell service, and the lack of adequate signage on buildings are easy things the owner could have done to prevent this.
