Peaceful location with magnificent views, yet only a short walk into the historic Cinque Port town of Sandwich. Lots of lovely bars, cafes and restaurants. A great little hideaway one can escape to. Will be back again!

Loved everything!

Incredible boat full of quirky touches. Roberts radio, crystal decanters full of spirits, fresh fruit, tea, coffee and soft drinks, complimentary bottles of wine and port, jams and marmalades…the list goes on! And all with the compliments of the owner. Unbelievably hospitable host. Clean and tidy accommodation and very comfortable. Didn’t want to leave!

Nothing to dislike. First class experience.

Great quirky experience at good price for area. Lots little extras were included and free parking. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner just before leaving the site. Would definitely like to stay again if n when in Sandwich.

Location is great, lots of places to visit and discover.

I should have checked beforehand that a 6 feet 4 inches tall man would actually fit on the vessel!

The location was quiet, the facilities were comfortable, plenty of information from owner, although couldn’t find the cabin lights in the kitchen area, even though the switches labled as such.

Could be mistaken but the camper van parked near the boat the majority of the evening were the owners observing us, felt uneasy with this.

Terrific location, really quiet and peaceful, despite being close to town centre. Easy to access. Owner was very easy to contact and happy to help. Very central for pubs, restaurants and cafes. Central to lots of attractions.

Didn’t realise there was no hot water on board. Being a boat, you can’t use the toilet for ‘solids’. Were told there was a public toilet and shower close by but this is only open 9am - 8pm. Wasn’t told there is a toilet on site, another owner told us. Boat needs a little TLC, one of the bedrooms seems to have a small damp issue.

wonderful location on the riverside within 3 minute walk of the bridge over to the town of Sandwich. peaceful with lots of bird life and water traffic to watch. Very comfortable bed and seats, kitchen with cooking facilities, helpful and informative owners, very unusual let and all the better for that.

A really quirky place to stay and so relaxing to be on the river. And the marina community were just the nicest, friendly people.

It wouldn’t suit anyone with mobility issues (not a problem in our case, but just worth a mention here)

The setting is peaceful and watching the sun set over the river from the small deck was wonderful. Jessie was very quick to respond when I contacted him with a query about the boat's facilities. He was also flexible with our check out time which was much appreciated. Little extras like drinks and snacks with an honesty box were a welcoming touch.

The boat was not clean. I understand it's a boat not a hotel, but many surfaces were dirty, including the toilet and washbasin area. The cabin I slept in smelled so strongly of fuel I had to move out and sleep on the bench in the main living area.

Access getting onto boat ok for us but if your mobility wasn’t so good could be a problem

It was a great experience staying on a sailing boat and we enjoyed our short stay with our small dog. There are some nice touches on-board and it is fascinating to see the clever, efficient design. It was good walking around Sandwich, taking in the architecture and also walking the neighbouring green spaces. It was so peaceful sitting out on the boat watching the water flowing and listening to it's gentle rhythm.

We didn't manage to access the toilets early in the morning but did access fine in the late afternoon.
