The location is right next to the market and not far from the train station and various shops and pubs. It was immaculately clean and very comfortable. The hosts were also very helpful and friendly. Would stay here again without hesitation.

Market Lounge is a lovely property. The owners have taken great care to make it very comfortable and they provided some generous touches which were most welcome - cheese, chocolates, wine. The property is well located in the middle of Clitheroe so you have easy access to shops, cafes, pubs etc. THe property is very well maintained and decorated. Having car parking close was also very convenient. We can highly recommend this property and the helpfulness and accessibility of its hosts.

The apartment is beautiful, very clean, we had everything we needed - it was really wonderful. Located in the city center it is close to everything. And it is also quiet. The owners, David and Pauline, are very nice and kind and made us feel welcome, they prepared a welcome gift as well as a guide with places to visit, events. We had a lovely time staying here and we recommend it dearly.

Everything was spotless when we arrived and the apartment was nicely furnished and decorated. A cheeseboard, wine and milk had been provided which was a nice touch. The friendly and helpful host greeted us at the property and showed us where everything was kept/ how it worked. The apartment was conveniently located in the centre of Clitheroe.

This place is hands down EXCEPTIONAL and right in the heart of Clitheroe! I think I'll need about 10pages to write ALL the things I loved but let's start somewhere shall we! Location: I couldn't ask for a more strategically located accommodation while away from home. This beautiful one-bedroom apartment literally overlooks the market and not in a way that disturbs the guests as it is in fact really quiet. A stone-throw away from the Clitheroe station - I wouldn't need to go up to Preston when next I need to come down to Clitheroe, as this apartment is so close to the station, it makes it super convenient! Shopping: Right off the road that leads you to the apartment are some of Clitheroe's most fashionable stores if you will. It is excellent if you want to stay here and then go do a little shopping. The YMCA and Booths are also about 4 minutes walk (when I do it). It is excellently situated for sure! Sightseeing: The Clitheroe castle is somewhere you might want to visit when you visit Clitheroe and staying here at Market lounge gives you that opportunity to just walk up the hill to the castle. It is really close. Aesthetically Pleasing: I want to say that the photos are great and do give a good picture of what this apartment is but still nothing compared to when you actually walk in! It is a beauty and very modern finishing which was a plus for me. I loved being able to be in an almost historic town like Clitheroe but still, have that modern feel when I got back to the apartment. Exceedingly Clean: 100% is what I'll score them. It really is clean. Communication: Communication was great! I can't complain at all. The market lounge team really cares about the guests who take up the apartment. The Sofabed: Having that sofa bed in the living room that sleeps an extra two people is such a fantastic add-on! The hosts/owners: Dave was an absolute delight to deal with from start to finish.

Absolutely Nothing! I LOVED EVERY BIT OF IT and will in fact book more visits to Clitheroe now because of Market Lounge being there.

Fantastic location and communication from David. Extremely clean and homely little apartment. We were even given complimentary cheese in the fridge as a nice little touch! Parking provided was also superb. Could not fault this place at all - host was very attentive and gave excellent recommendations. A fantastic couple retreat for my girlfriend and I.
