Enkelheten lugnet och fräschheten

Super nice staff, the room was clean, the meals were quite tasty (breakfast + dinner). The fridge and the locker were working without issues. Great connection with bus (line 3) to the station, and to other lines and tram as well (line 3 or 2 stops walking distance)

The room was quite cold, but the staff provided an additional heater. The staff informed that I was supposed to have room service but nobody came. Sadly the room didnt have drawers so you have to leave your clothes on the bag or on the desk.

Hotellet ligger i ett lugnt område med bra parkering. Frukosten var enkel men god.. Detta var vårt fjärde besök och vi åter kommer nog igen.

Lite gammalt och slitet men med charm

Personalen. Läget. Bra billig parkering. Bra tillfredsställande kvällsmat ingick i priset! Vi fick byta till ett likvärdigt rum en trappa ned. Elen fungerade. Blandaren fungerade.

Strömmen fungerade inte inga lampor i tak eller på väggar. Ingen av de två rummens tv. Inga vägguttag. . Det enda som lyste var på toa/dusch. Jag ringde jouren eftersom personalen gick kl 22. Två killar kom och sökte hotellets el. Våningens el. Vårt rums. Inga väggkontakter. Jag använder andningsapparat som ju inte fick ström. Jag sov därför 2-3 timmar första av tre nätter på hotell Place. Blandaren i duschen hade fastnat och sprutade endast kokhett vatten och gick ej att använda. 3 kvinnor måste tvätta sig och håret i vasken!! OBS! Tar man betalt för medföljande hundar borde det också synas exv mat-/vattenskål hundbädd etc. Svårt hitta hotellet. Annat hotellnamn än som syns på GPS.

Den vegetariska maten var tråkig och enformig. Den var smaklös och kändes som något kocken inte alls engagerade sig i. Synd när allt övrigt är bra.

Aftensmaden elendig. Kartofler ikke kogte. Schnitzlen smagløs. Salaten sørgelig.

I liked the location - just about 10-15 minutes walking distance to the centre through the cemetery shortcut, bus stop is also very close - at the end of the street. I liked the size of the room, though the furniture is not super modern and surely remembers a lot, everything was functioning and perfectly clean. The garden and terrace were also very nice and the breakfast buffet too. There was an option to make your own waffles, children enjoyed that a lot. Apart from that there was sufficient variety of bread, ham, cheese, boiled eggs, cereals, yogurts, coffee, tea, juices, salad bar. Dinners were more simple - just one meal, but it was always tasty, nothing to complain about. For example there were ikea meat balls with gravy and mashed potatoes, or chicken asian style with rice.

The place had a good vibe, I liked it all, maybe the only thing to mention is that when we wanted to rent the bikes (the hotel offers them for free), there were only last three bikes available, one had the brake broken a the other one had a pedal missing, so we decided to rent proper and safe bikes in the city as we went for a longer trip to Lomma beach. There is an option to lock the bikes in front of the hotel overnight.

Bus stop at the door. / Parkering ligger mycket nära hotellets entré och är gratis. Området är bostadsbygnader och lugnt, utan buller. Busshållplats vid dörren.

No one in charge of the management ever appeared at the hotel in almost two weeks, only inexperienced young people (probably students on hotel management courses or simply working on vacation) at the reception and in the kitchen and table service. Disorganized breakfast service where basic products were always missing after some time after the start of the service. On days with a large number of guests, they never cleaned the tables, which remained dirty until the end of this service's opening hours. The dinners included in the deals are outrageous! They have no chef at the hotel and the dishes are made entirely of frozen food, and without any criteria for quality or variety. Since I don't eat meat, my meals were always pan-fried vegetarian steaks, along with a mix of frozen vegetables. I warn all future customers of this hotel not to accept the dinners as they will be extremely disappointed, they do not include drinks other than tap water and there are no desserts, just a poor buffet with vegetables for salad. Customers wishing to order drinks and desserts must go to the bar and are required to pay for them at the time, they are not registered on the customer's account. There is no internet connection in the rooms, only in the restaurant-bar area, which is open during meals and closes at 20/21. The rooms do not have any decoration on the walls, and the floor is acrylic. There were no bedside benches in my room, and the only chair in the room was broken.

The hotel does not intend to give an invoice. I stay in this hotel since many-many years and this is the first time the hotel denies to provide me with the invoice although I always book the room in the same way via booking.com. I wonder what happens as I asked for the invoice in advance at the time of my booking and nobody informed me about the new system. Invoice is essential in case of a business trip so don't stay here if you need an invoice.
