Our room was really nice, and the location of the hotel very practical for visiting the city center.

The noise of the cars is quite loud and gets through the double-glazed windows. I recommend ear plugs.

The room was nice and even if the balcony was on the street there was not so much noise during the night. When we arrived we met Giorgos which answered all of our questions and welcomed us in a great way! I recommend this place which is also in a very good position in the city. There are also private parkings close by. I definitely recommend this place!

This very beautiful & unique city hotel located in the heart of Rethymno is a true delight for the eyes and highly recommended for anyone who appreciates a stylish and cosy ambiance! Warm colors, combined with wonderfully earthy wooden elements, tastefully adorn the entire house. Every detail is carefully thought out and perfectly coordinated, stylish down to the last detail! The hotel has been recently renovated and is situated directly in the heart of Rethymno, just across from the botanical garden & the perfect location after a walk in the old town. The rooms are comfortably and stylishly furnished, with chic bathrooms featuring spacious showers. Treat yourself to something special, I highly recommend it! For me, it was not particularly good value. i would say it would be fine for a short 1-2 night stay but not for a week. The room was very small which was OK and aesthetically pleasing but a few things just weren’t functional for a longer stay. There was a kettle but nothing to plug it into near any of the ‘counter’ spaces it could sit without first unplugging the fridge. had to perch it on a surface where it didn’t fit safely or put it in the sink in order to reach a plug. the hot water in the shower took so long to warm up, i had several Luke warm showers before i realized it could even get hot. the tv offered bbc and european tv but neither was useable due to ‘freezing’ of streaming video. the shower design was such that you either had to mop the floor before using toilet or sit with feet in cold water. i know these are 1st world concerns and i only complained about the lack of plugs while i was there, but enough different small annoyances to put me off. the staff were a bit cold and defensive in my experience. i am sorry, i cant be more positive.
