I loved the kitchen and bathroom

I wasn’t aware it was shared, the property was full of other peoples things, there’s a camara in the hallway which made me feel I was being watched 24/7, we ended up leaving in the middle of the night because other people arrived

It was in a great location for visiting the Castle , Wallace monument and The Old jail as well as a brilliant view of Wallace monument at the property. The property had everything you would need in a holiday home to have a relaxing comfortable stay. Host was very prompt with replying to messages. Thank you for a great stay had a lovely time. Will definitely use this holiday home again.

The only downfall was the camera /cctv in the passage although I do understand why it’s there it was uncomfortable.

I had difficulties contacting the host at first , but it turned out the contact info on booking.com was not correct. The host requested a deposit transaction which is not common. She accused me of breaking into her house in an aggressive manner. She alleged I broke the key safe which  was in the reset position from the beginning. and the surveillance camera was running in the corridor  inside of the house. It was not a pleasant experience staying there.

Quiet suburban/ residential location. Happy with off-road parking (driveway. Bathroom and kitchen fitted out to a high standard. Clean bedding and towels

sharing facilities with strangers a bit awkward. Bedroom was quite dilapidated. Minimal and poor furniture. Electrical wiring safety questionable. TV remote snapped, taped up but still not working. In need of decorating. Overall overpriced.

The bathroom itself was very luxurious. Rooms were okay.

The bathroom had mold. Furthermore, I found it strange that when I book and pay for a room. I still have to transfer a deposit (of £100). Which in itself is a strange policy as I had to share the property with an entire other family. So if anything in the shared kitchen, bathroom or living room is damaged; who is held accountable?
