There was absolutely nothing wrong with the house, location, amenities, etc. The reason I left a rating of 3 on accuracy of listing is the location on the river and access to the river. The lead photo with kayaks sitting on a rock beach leads you to believe they are on the property. However, that photo is taken up river and not accessible from the house, unless you swim up rover a ways. My family enjoyed our stay and as other reviews have mentioned, the neighbor’s dog is very friendly and came to visit often.

We had a great stay. Beds were super comfortable. Stone shower a nice treat. Everything you could need in the kitchen... although we didn't cook. It's vacation! Caddo Cafe and Fish Nest filled our belly and were surprisingly good. Full freezer of ice was super appreciated on such hot days. As stated in other reviews, the dogs want to be apart of your stay! Run to Amity for your cocktail needs. Glenwood is in a dry county! I think the only thing I didn't plan for was that while I knew we were a few miles off of the main road, it takes awhile on the crooked roads at 15 mph. Great stay! Thanks Jennifer!

Beautiful property and wonderful location. The home is perfect. Had the best time on the river. Our sons drove into Hot Springs for the day to go to Magic Springs and the rest of us stayed at swam for the day. House has everything you will need and more. The views are incredible. Very easy access to the river in comparison to where the home is on the ridge. We are really looking forward to staying again!

We checked in to property and had no power water until our second day at 10am. The property manager refuses to refund us for both nights because she wanted us to pack up and find another place to stay and come back the next day at 4pm. Hope no one else has to deal with this lady when something happens.

Great place to get away from city living. The views of the river were beautiful and the area was so quiet and peaceful. Just be careful not to leave anything down on the river bank unattended, a passing kayaker may take it. I learned this the hard way and my son's fishing pole and net were taken.

Gorgeous views from every angle. We couldn’t decide which view was our favorite. Well stocked kitchen. There was a full sized coffee maker and a Keurig. Beds were very comfortable. Plenty of seating outdoors. Bring cushions or chairs for sitting around the fire. We visited Wegner’ crystal mine and had a great time! I would not visit in the summer but that’s just me. Not a fan of the heat. It’s relatively physical. We visited Slate Rock Brewery and loved it. Very friendly owners and amazing beer. We loved our daily visits from the neighbor’s dog! The house is right in the middle of Amity and Glenwood so it’s a perfect location. Just FYI, Glenwood is dry but there is a liquor store in Amity. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful house so peaceful Looking out over the river on the back deck. Watching the cows come home at night was my grandson’s(14 months)favorite time of the day.

Beautiful property, house fit our family perfectly. Daughter fell in love with neighbors dog, they played non stop (tho keep your shoes inside, she likes to bring them home!) We mainly went to go dig for crystals ect. Kids loved that!

This property was even better than I imagined it would be. The home was very spacious, with plenty of sleeping room for everyone. And the view of the river out the back… breathtaking! We were staying for Spring Break, with plans to go to the Wegner Crystal Mines and the Crater of Diamonds park. This property was right between the two, so it was perfect for what we needed. I would recommend this place, and would absolutely stay here again!

Absolutely great property, enjoyed our short 3 day stay. I am an early riser, sitting on the back covered deck at 5:30 in the morning drinking coffee and something licked me on my knee almost jumoed outta my skin but the neighbors chocolate lab was a sweetheart and visited me every morning. Once again beautiful proprrty

Beautiful and peaceful getaway
The house was nicely updated and had all the amenities we needed. The grounds were immaculate and we had an awesome view of the river. We even had a kitten and lab who came around and played! It was a perfect place for us to stay as my husband's family lives in Glenwood. Will definitely stay again.

River was out of its banks due to rain but us old people could’ve gotten down to it anyway, trail too steep! Excellent, comfortable quarters and the moon was amazing! We will be back!

Quiet and peaceful
This well cared for home is a little off the beaten path, but perfect for down time in a quiet and relaxing environment. A great place for a small group/family reunion or a guys/girls weekend. The house is close in proximity to the river - nice swings to relax in while enjoying great views!

Perfect location between Crater of Diamonds and Hot Springs
We wanted a trip where we could spend 1 day in Hot Springs and 1 day at the Crater of Diamonds. This was the perfect location. Very clean home with all the items you need (i.e. pots/pans, washer/dryer, etc). Would stay here again.

Beautiful home and scenery!
My family and I are from East Texas, we came for a long weekend stay for spring break. We had an amazing time here at this location. The photos do not do this place justice. In the city of Glenwood which is about 10 minutes from the house, you will find a small grocery store and a few other conveniences such as McDonalds and Dollar store etc. Hot Springs is located 45 minutes away, which may seem far but its not at all with the beautiful scenery that you will see along the way. The house is very accommodating, with a washer dryer and dishwasher all the basics such as towels etc. The walk to the river behind the house is just a few minutes where you are able to fish and picnic in the beautiful scenery. We had an awesome time here and plan on staying in this same house next time we visit Arkansas. 😀

House was clean and fresh. Location is very quiet. Beds are comfortable. No WiFi in house, so make sure your mobile phones can tether - cellular service was good.
