This is my second time in the past month renting out this exact location from Michael. This A frame cabin is truly beautiful in every way possible. If you are choosing where to stay at innsbrook, no need to look further! I’ll be back!

My husband, daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our vacation to the Lake House Chalet. My husband got a round of golf in and utilized the gym facilities at the clubhouse too. House was clean and comfortable! We absolutely loved it! Would definitely would love to come back!

Had a very peaceful night at the beautiful cabin with the fire going. We enjoyed the large deck and beautiful scenery ! I got to catch the biggest fish (bass) of my life and so many more🐟! Highly recommend this cabin if you a looking for a peaceful, unique/luxury cabin get away!

My friend and I and our teenaged daughters just spent a weekend at this beautifully decorated chalet. It had everything we needed for a fun and relaxing stay. The girls enjoyed the kayaks and there was a closet full of life vests. Also available were board games and puzzles, firewood, beach towels and a fully stocked kitchen including coffee, seasonings and cooking oils. Beds were comfy and towels soft and plentiful. Check in was easy and Michael was always available to answer any questions. We didn’t want to leave and are already talking about coming back next year!

Our group of girlfriends stayed at the peaceful lake chalet for a long weekend. It was amazing! The place was very clean and had plenty of stocked cupboards with dishes + utensils we needed to make meals. We loved the view of the water and outdoor deck space, plus the opportunity to walk in nature. The area also has a cute little Market and everyone we encountered was very friendly. A 5 Star stay for us!

The cabin was clean and roomy. It was just what I thought it would be. I was happy with my experience.

Very clean and modernized finish. Large, well-located TV with a sound bar. Everything advertised was at least met if not better. We specifically sought a property that wasn't buried behind 20 minutes of 5 MPH gravel roads like our previous visit to Innsbrook, and the location was excellent in terms of getting to the pool and highway in reasonable time while still feeling like a getaway. Our main dings would be the HVAC and lighting. The air conditioner is loud and powerful, and had a tendency to cycle between too-cold and off on the main floor while the second guest bedroom upstairs ran toasty. Most of the lighting fixtures were single warm bulbs, and the whole place was so dim by evening that we didn't find it reasonably possible to play board games or read. The host was *incredibly* responsive and kind, and ended up purchasing, assembling, and delivering a couple of floor lamps to us mid-trip when we messaged about the lighting. While it didn't fully solve the general lighting issues, it helped, and the hospitality was stellar. All things considered, great spot with an excellent host that I would recommend to others.

The chalet was clean and nicely stocked. Shadow lake is a smaller lake but serene and beautiful. We loved kayaking around and caught several fish. Will definitely stay here again.

This home was everything we were looking for in an Innsbrook vacation. We loved fishing at the dock and making a camp fire. It was a great location to beaches and other amenities in Innsbrook. The home was spacious for our family. We hosted a few other family members for dinner a couple nights as well. Waking up with coffee overlooking the lake and trees was so nice. Mike was very responsive with all our needs. We will definitely be back!

This rental was spectacular, it was exactly what the pictures showed and exactly as shown. We even found a few unexpected extras, propane grill with propane and extra tank provided. Firewood provided for the fire pit. And Mike the host is very quick to respond to questions or issues! We would definitely look up this host again if we return to the Innabrook, Missouri area!

We had a lovely time at Shadow Lake over Memorial Day weekend. It was a beautiful weekend, and Innsbrook has much to offer. Having a deck on the water, a fire pit, and a BBQ grill were nice. We also appreciated the beach chairs and the kitchen had everything we needed to make meals.

We had a wonderful time! The dock had steps leading down to the water, which was great for us to dip our toes in while we fished! The view was amazing with visits from local deer each day! The Chalet was in excellent condition, super clean, and updated! Beds were very comfortable, showers stayed hot with good pressure. Best rental experience we’ve ever had! Mike was a great host! We’ll definitely be back soon!

My husband and I hosted Thanksgiving for our family of 16. They loved the cottage and we all managed to fit the space! Two family members did say over for one night. We enjoyed coffee and the light morning fog with sunshine beginning to filter down. The peacefulness was wonderful!

This was our families second stay in this chalet. It had all the comforts of home and is well maintained. The furniture is comfortable and the outdoor fire pit was perfect for the chilly weather! Despite the cold we fished and used the available kayaks. We will be back again!!

This cabin was just awesome !! The decor was beautiful. The view from the deck of the peaceful small lake added to the charm of this cabin. The owner was spectacular in his communication with me and went above and beyond to insure my experience was excellent. I highly recommend this cabin and the owner.

Our group of six had a great weekend together at this cute and cozy cabin in the woods. We enjoyed these last days of summer, and were able to comfortably sleep our whole group! We found the kitchen to be very well equipped for cooking in for our group. Thanks for a great weekend getaway!

The online listing was accurate. The location of the property had steps to a dock/lake where we could fish. This is one of the cleanest properties that we have ever stayed, if not the cleanest and we vacation rental frequently. We really loved the property, our stay and our overall vacation experience. The only thing we missed was making time to hike the trails in the area.

The cabin was great it had everything we needed for our little get away. We all enjoyed the little private lake in the kayaks. It was a nice quiet get away. Will definitely use it again. for people that work remote the wifi worked great.

The cottage was well situated on the small lake with great fishing and swimming along with privacy from the neighboring properties. Property provided kayaks, lounge chairs and fishing poles. Inside the cottage we had everything we could ask for. Mike (owner) was very helpful and excellent communicator throughout the process. Definitely would recommend this cottage for a weekend getaway or vacation spot.

We took our parents and kids to the Shadow Lake cottage in Innsbrook and couldn't have asked for more. The accommodations were very clean, comfortable, and complete. There was nothing we needed that we didn't find. The A-frame cottage has a lake house feel but is completely updated. We enjoyed coffee on the deck, short but lovely nearby hikes, and kayaking on the small, quiet lake. My husband caught a few fish and our kids enjoyed the pool at the resort. If you decide to come to Innsbrook, the little cafe at the market has a coffee shop and essentials. Mike offered great communication and a warm welcome. Thanks!
