Our stay at this lovely mountain home exceeded all expectations. The combination of breathtaking scenery, comfortable accommodations, and a wide range of activities at the house or places nearby made it the perfect summer escape. We left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend this mountain and lake view house for anyone looking to unplug, relax, and enjoy nature. Ideal for families, couples, seeking a peaceful and/or adventurous summer vacation.

3. Beautiful mountain home with stunning views of mountain and lake!!!
The house itself is well-maintained and beautifully decorated, with a cozy and inviting ambiance. The living room has large windows and doors that let in natural light and offer views of mountains and the lake. The bedrooms and bathrooms are very comfortable and all ensuites. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances, making it easy to prepare meals. The owners left personal recommendations of where to visit and eat when enjoying a vacation in the area. What a treat to visit this area of the blue ridge mountains and home!

We recently had the pleasure of spending a week at a beautiful mountain and lake house, and it was an experience to remember. Nestled in a serene location, the house offered the perfect escape from daily life. It is situated right across the street from the lake and marina, providing stunning views from across the home. The surroundings are peaceful and the sunset was a breathtaking sight, painting the sky and then a show of the stars at night. The house is also close to downtown and hiking and wineries so we had activities to do every day.
We can’t wait to go back to this home as a family again!

Our stay at the mountain and lake house was more than we could have asked for to create family memories. It offered a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure, with all the comforts of home. I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. Whether you’re a nature lover, an adventure seeker, or just in need of some rest and relaxation, this place has something for everyone.

Of course from the pictures you will see the beautiful views from this prime location, the spacious and thoughtful design of the space and the serene decor inspiring rest and relaxation but what you don’t see are the special details that truly make the home a joy! Our hosts thought of everything, a flashlight system, ready to go in case we lost power (we never did, despite the snow), hampers in every bedroom to aid with laundry, ice maker for the bar, fully stocked game room, quality bedding, pillows and throws, strategically placed gas lamps to warm you while you sit by the fire and watch the world go by… all these special details made our family Christmas reunion so memorable, effortless and light!

We really enjoyed our time here. It was central to the local Walmart which made shopping easy and also the boat rentals. Otherwise we spent our time in the cabin. We did need to purchase more kitchenware as the supply was sparse and the same went for toilet paper, paper towels and cleaning supplies - all of that was lacking for a house this size. But in terms of a family getaway, it was great. Just plan in advance to bring everything on your own since the house is stocked with minimal basics. It’s gorgeous though and the yard is great for kids to run around.

This house was so comfortable, beautiful and clean. The floor plan was so well thought out and the cherry on top was how beautifully it was decorated. We really enjoyed our stay at this Georgia home. The house was situated in a beautiful section in Blairsville and had scenic views of the mountains and lake. My whole family enjoyed their time here. The kids enjoyed the basement and the adults loved hanging out by the bar and outdoor areas. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone who wants to relax and unwind in a beautiful setting.
