It was a great location to enjoy a family trip. Snow tubing is within walking distance and the downstairs was perfect for kids.

This was a great property for a long weekend in the mountains. We enjoyed the wood burning fire place and the hot tub especially. The communication from the property manager was good throughout our stay. However, we were given an incorrect code to the door. Despite this, their after hours contact was able to get us a new code shortly after us reaching out. The check out process was seamless and easy. I would recommend this property in the future!

Great house for a large group of people.

We had a really great weekend at A Slice of Seven, in spite of lousy weather and no snow at Hawksnest. We loved the layout of the house, especially the way the setup downstairs allowed the kids to have their space and the adults to have our grownup space upstairs. The hot tub was a nice bonus on a cold, rainy day. With the exception of a few things we’ll mention below, the kitchen was equipped really well in terms of appliances, utensils, pots and pans, and layout/size. That said, there were a number of easily correctible issues that were especially annoying: • The dishwasher didn’t work. It turned on but did not clean the dishes. • There was no dish drain for the sink, and no dish towels. • All of the paper products in the house were the absolute cheapest dollar-store quality stuff. And not a single box of tissues in the house. • The main dining table was really wobbly, as were the chairs – like you weren’t sure they’d hold together when you sat down. • It looked like baseboard heaters had been removed throughout the house, but the baseboards themselves had not been repaired no had the walls been repaired and painted. Looks pretty bad. • There were burned out light bulbs/malfunctioning lights in various places, making it kind of dim inside. The light over the stove was out, which made cooking challenging. Finally, the 10 AM checkout is really kind of rough, and 11 AM would have made a big difference. Overall, a good stay – but a few things could have made it better.

Location location! Easy to get to all the sights ! Our host Dustin was fabulous. Quick to reply to all our questions. Checkin was a breeze. Very knowledgeable about the area. His recommendations for restaurants were spot on. The condo was just as described and we felt right at home. We were there for a hockey game and Dustin's shortcut tips delivered us right to the venue without the hassles. Great location and layout for our family. This property is in the process of upgrades. We had issues with the fireplace damper, a window needs repaired, the dishwasher needs some attention and the clothes dryer does not dry clothes.

Good house with great decks. Hot tub was great and all the bedrooms and "bunk room" were very suitable for our group. Only issue we had is that the propane tank for the grill was empty so I swamped it with the outdoor "fire pit" tank. Not a huge deal but now the fire pit tank is empty but I'm sure they will refill it. The drive up through seven devils is no joke so if weather is going to be iffy for you make sure you have a capable 4WD.
