Relaxing stay. Very nice pool, restaurant and quiet friendly staff and neighbors. Rented a pontoon and was able meet at the dock on property. Great view as well. Would recommend room darkening shades for bedroom

Comfortable, roomy, beautiful, calm, and so many other words. This home was charming. The open floor plan gave us space to hang out together and enjoy family meals. The lake view was great. We enjoyed our 3 days and will return!

Had a great trip this place is amazing and Brooke is awesome. More amenities than I could list . Wife killed it on beetle spins fishing. View is amazing people in park are so nice. After hot day on lake pool was great to cool off in. We meal prep and cook on grill. Restaurant on property is fun for drinks so is scallywags . We are planning on making this our home away from home.

The home was clean and beautifully decorated. It was also well stocked with everyday household needs. It was easy for a family of 5 to settle in for a week. I was also surprised that there were spaces to go for me to study in quiet. The enclosed porch was delightful with a water view! As we discovered, there isn’t much in the surrounding towns but that was ok. The resort had everything to keep us all busy (mini golf, beach, large pool, mini RC track, playgrounds, and plenty of picnic tables.

The property had everything we needed, was very clean & comfortable. Brooke was a fantastic host with excellent communication. Would highly recommend

We spent 4 nights and enjoyed the resort and the near by hiking trails, and kayak options. The home was very clean, and comfortable.Only complaint is the bunk bed needs some screws tightened to stop the squeaking. And the fire alarm seemed to go off everytime we cooked. But all in all I rate our stay highly. OH, and the neighbors were very friendly too. We will book again if available.

Stayed 2 nights had a great time. Had several conversations with nice neighbors. Enjoyed grilling and eating outside enjoying view. Fishing was great my favorite scenic lake and wildlife are always abundant. No complaints

We've been visiting different lakeside areas, and are considering buying in this community. What a neat, tastefully decorated space. Had all the essentials, and a great view of the lake. Highly recommend

We used this property as a base camp while we were at Uwharrie Jeep Jamboree. It is about a 25 minute drive to Uwharrie, and 25 minute drive to Albemarle to many restaurants. It was super clean, cute, well decorated, and stocked with many supplies for cooking, cleaning, ect. It is second row lake front and having coffee on the porch in the morning was def my highlight, so peaceful and reflective. The master bed was SO comfy, I slept like a baby. This isn’t a huge place, but perfect for a couple get away. Anytime I reached out to the owner she got back with me right away. They are definitely a pleasure to work with.

Absolutely perfect space. Lovely view and patio/porch area. Comfortable throughout. Everything was very well appointed too. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer! 10 out of 10 would definitely stay again.

Beautiful location, very cozy house and the Badin lakefront view is spectacular. House was supper spotless and equipped with comfortable furniture and beds. Couldn’t ask for a more accommodating host and location!! Thank you !!

The owner was most pleasant everything was efficient and the home was decorated in lake decor tastefully. Great view of Badin Lake through large doors in living and kitchen. Large comfortable living room and tv with Netflix etc already up and functioning. Very clean and welcoming. I’d def stay there again!

It was very quiet however properties are very close together. The view was very nice. We did however experience roaches every morning and a lizard in the living room one afternoon. The property needs pest control for sure. Other than that it was perfect.

The pros: 1) The check-in process was easy and hassle free. 2) The property was clean and nicely decorated. 3) The unit was well stocked with toiletries, kitchen utensils, blankets, etc. 4) The kids were greeted with skittles on their beds and the adults with a bottle of champagne. 5) The screened in porch was lovely. 6) Boardgames and a smart tv for indoor entertainment. 7) Easy walk to the beach area of the lake. 8) The king size bed was wonderful. 9) The home had great a/c and fans. 10) Lovely view of the lake. 11) Adequate parking for our two full size trucks 12) Great pool and we enjoyed late night swimming 13) R/C track which is not common to see and the fellas loved racing their remote controlled cars. The cons: 1) there is a slight raised lip going from the living area to the kitchen which we tripped over countless times during our 4 day stay, total toe buster 2) The mattresses on the bunk beds and the sleeper sofa were not great for older teens 3) The restroom is a little claustrophobic feeling for plus size adults. 4) the pool & park area was not an easy walk so a golf cart rental would be a great plus, otherwise you would portably want to drive like we did. 5) No good area to take your pet to potty. Overall the pros outweigh the cons and we had a great time; it is a relaxing place. If you are looking for slow and easy this is the place with a quite and friendly neighborhood feel. There is a dollar general within a couple of miles for drinks and snacks otherwise any other destinations would require a drive. The property manager was prompt to answer any questions. We would definitely come back to Badin Lake and would suggest this vacation spot to others who are looking for a low key getaway.

This was a very nice property for our family vacation to Badin Lake. The house was clean, inviting, and and all the extra touches really made this property a winner for us. The kids (5 & 6) enjoyed the bunk room while we took in the great views from the porch. A well stocked kitchen made meal prep a breeze and the living room became board game and movie central as the beautiful sunsets came though the glass doors. We went to the pool everyday except our day trip to the NC Zoo (easy 40 minute drive). My wife and I were able to do remote work from the desk in the main bedroom and on the porch. The hosts were very nice and responsive. Would definitely recommend this property for families with young kids.

This place was great - it was one of the most relaxing vacations I have had in years. The screen porch was so nice to enjoy at night, very quiet, wonderful view of the lake and could truly enjoy nature. Pretty much everything we could have needed for our stay was there. I couldn't figure out how to get the TVs to sync up to the WiFi - I am not the most tech savvy, but it just meant a tech free vacation which I thought was amazing (more reading of books). The owner was always prompt and responsive to my communications. My daughter and I both agreed we would like to come back here again next summer!

Everything we needed was there, the place was spacious, super clean, and the little touches were amazing and so thoughtful for the guests, games, toys, blankets, extras in the bathroom were amazing! The beach was right there. I did feel we had one of the best views there. The screened porch was my favorite, with the complementary fan out there and the breeze it was so relaxing just what we needed for this weekend! Pool was huge and the kids loves the 4 playgrounds to choose from! Beds were comfy!!! Putt putt was fun! We will definitely be back ♡

We enjoyed this place so much!!! Lots to do for kids all ages even us adults had a blast! The house was perfect for us loved the roomy home fill to it! Great time celebrating my son 12th birthday away from home and he can’t wait to come back!! Wanting to do it again soon!

This place was perfect for our weekend getaway. Inside: The layout of the home is wonderful for spending time together as a family. We enjoyed playing board games in the family room and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook all of our meals. It was a chilly weekend and I loved that there were some extra blankets to snuggle up with on the couch. The king bed in the master was very comfortable and had plenty enough pillows for you to find one you liked. The bunk room was enjoyed by both kids. My little one was excited to find some toys to play with in the storage bins. Outside: The family was able to enjoy lunch one afternoon in the screened in porch, over looking the lake. Outdoor Amenities: Just around the corner from the house, you can take the steps down to the beach area. The kids spent hours enjoying the sand. If it would have been warm, we would have tested out the swimming area. Instead we took a short drive over to the fishing pier, played basketball and spent hours on the playground! The owner was amazing to work with and we hope to return in the warmer months to enjoy the pool!

This home has everything you need! It is super clean with new furniture and decor. The view of the sunsets over the water are amazing. This place did not disappoint!
