This property is located in a quiet neighborhood just off Boulder Lake. Use of the swim club was just lovely. Easy access to areas like Jim Thorpe. Everything was clean and well-maintained. I highly recommend using this location.

The unit was clean except for a few smelly towels in the bathroom and the thermostat wasn't working. The thermostat issue was communicated day 1 of my 9 night trip but never got fixed. Instead, the host controlled the central air and heat remotely. My family would wake up cold in the middle of the night because the AC was left on while it was below 60°F outside. We had to text/call then wait hours for the heat to be turned on, standing outside just to warm up. When it was hot during the day, we had to text/call and wait for AC. At one point, when my whole family woke up freezing in the morning, I spoke to the host and he told told me that the temperature reading on his app was 71°F. I informed him that I think that the temperature he was reading was inaccurate due to the thermostat malfunctioning. His response was, "I think it is accurate", leading me to believe that this problem wasn't new and had been ongoing. There were even times I reached out to the host and didn't receive a response for over a day. I had to meet with the host's HVAC tech, and speak on the phone with him numerous times, even though I am not the host and the issue was never fixed. Lastly, even though I told them about the issue on day one, the host didn't attempt to reach out to an HVAC tech until 3 days later, after I called and complained to VRBO. The host did provide a 10% refund on the trip but that didn't make up for the huge inconvenience and all of the phone calls/text messages on our vacation.

The owner gave us wrong key combination for entry door, and we had to wait outside for a while during a heavy rain. Also, the grill on deck was flooded with water, therefore, we could not use it.

Overall we had an amazing experience. The property owners were extremely helpful and easy to get in contact with. The home was more than we expected! Activities such as the lake and restaurant on the lake were a little pricey, but we had a great time!

The home was very clean and beautiful, the view was amazing we had a great time staying in this home it was near restaurants and stores. The owner Lois was so nice and helpful, she always text or email you right back...I will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful property overlooking a lake and ski hill. Our family gathered for Christmas. Property was very clean and inviting. Restaurants were just a hop & skip away. We would definitely like to come again.

Lois, the owner of this property was great and easy to reach if we had a problem. One of the cleanest places we have stayed in Big Boulder. Lois had everything we needed and then some. We definitely will be back

Lots of out door things to do or if you just want to relax in woods setting it is perfect.

We thoroughly enjoyed this property during our family weekend together. It is beautifully furnished, great layout. Loved the deck, with the forest view. We used the kayak on the lake and loved the pool at the Lake Club. Host was very accommodating with a schedule adjustment.

My family and I had a wonderful stay. The place was very clean and exactly as it appears online. The owner was very responsive and check-in was hassle-free. Short drive to the beach club which had pool, beach, boat rentals, tennis courts, and more. We really enjoyed ourselves.

My partner, friends and I were looking to get away from work and college. Renting this property gave us the opportunity to spend time with each other in a quiet and comfortable environment with beautiful scenery, local charm, and very hospitable rental owners to ensure a great visit.

The property was exactly as detailed in the listing. Very quiet location, close to Big Boulder Ski Resort. Extremely clean and well kept. Comfortable beds and furniture. Lots of little extra things provided by host, small soaps and shampoos. Coffee grounds, hot chocolate, cookies, foil, baggies just things you might need or have forgotten. From booking to checking out it was seamless. Host was always quick to respond to any questions prior to our arrival. We had a family of 8 stay and we were very comfortable. We would come back again.

We had a great time skiing. House is well stocked. May need a new faucet in jacuzzi, it took about 45mins to fill.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay for a ski weekend with the family. The house was very clean and well appointed with thoughtful extras like ziplock bags for leftovers and plenty of small hand creams, shampoos etc. Quiet, beautiful property with great views. Close to slopes and restaurants.
