The property was clean, and as shown in photos, with the caveat you are only near the pool and hot tube if your unit is near the lobby, which ours was.
The unit looked dated by 15-20 years. It was perfectly sufficient for a comfortable place to come home to and then leave again during the day. But, for the price, you might pay less elsewhere and have the same experience and level of comfort. There was nothing bad about it, and for a family with kids, prob just right.
The location was great because you are not right in the middle of town's busyness but close enough to zip there for a Starbucks if you want one. The Roam shuttle is right outside the complex entrance. Also, the place offers complimentary shuttles to town, which is a great bonus.
If you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs... every night, I woke up to the train sound. But, I am a super light sleeper. Also the main bedrooms are downstairs in a "finished" like basement, which is fine but year hear every footstep and any other sound above you.
The views are very pretty at this location, and you are right at some trailheads for easy quick hikes.
Tips: In some places (rentals) you arrive at, there are leftover supplies from previous renters (coffee filters, salt, pepper, paper towels, etc), but nothing here. So buy everything you need.

The property was lovely, especially the pools/sauna! We really appreciated the included bus pass so that we could get downtown easily, that was an added bonus that we were not expecting. The unit was perfect for our group of 3.

The family and I really enjoyed our stay. The condo had great views and easy access to the office and hot tubs. The three bedrooms worked perfectly for my family and we had a fabulous trip.

A 3 level town house with 2 bedrooms downstairs (and bath) and a loft bedroom and bath upstairs with the living and kitchen on the middle level. The location is a bit out of the hustle and bustle of downtown but the bus system to get back and forth is free and easy to manage, which helps avoid parking issues. We loved the quiet away and saw an elk and fox from our balcony. Banff was stunning and this was a nice respite between hiking and eating out in the heart of town.

The condo was comfortable and worked well for the 5 of us. However, it needs more lighting, esp. in the kitchen which was dark. Also, a reading light in the living room would be good. The kitchen was not well equipped, with only salt and pepper as condiments and no oil or vinegar. We were only there a few days, but prepared a few meals and it would have been nice to have a few condiments and paper towels. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, using the hot tub, and liked the location--quiet, but close to town.

It was gorgeous, next to campground which was great for walking. A little dated but similar to other places in Banff and very clean so it didn’t matter. Would definitely stay again

We had a wonderful time at this condo rental. We could have used more closet space instead of living out of suitcases, but this is a small complaint in comparison to what this property has to offer. We were able to walk out of the door and begin hiking Tunnel Mountain first thing; we were able to utilize the awesome free public transport bus passes and go into town anytime we wished, and the views out the back balcony. I can't even begin... take me back!

The property is in a collection of townhouses at hidden ridge resort. It was clean and well stocked. we did a lot of our own cooking and had no troubles. Everyone working there was friendly and helpful. We prepurchased lift tickets and had them delivered to the resort which was helpful. The bus into town is easy to catch and just a few minutes to the shops and restaurants. We had a great time and plan to come back next year!

My brothers & I had a wonderful 9-day stay at this resort. We used the clean bbq, sat in the jacuzzi & sauna, and relaxed on the deck to amazing views. We hiked Tunnel Mountain Trail and many other nearby hikes and casually strolled through the adjacent campground after dinner. The property sits in a quiet location above town but is also close enough to quickly access the amazing & charming clean city. We utilized the free bus pass to quickly get into town for dinner when we didn’t want to drive. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and pleasantly handled our every need. I highly recommend this property for your Banff vacation! You will be glad you stayed here!

The lodge was perfectly located on the edge of Banff with scenic views and out of the way of the bustle of the town itself. The staff were beyond friendly and helpful and we felt at home immediately. Loved the sauna and hot tub after long days of hiking. The accomodations were comfy and perfect for our party of five. Definitely would stay here again and recommend to friends and family!

Close to Banff, (but not easy walking). They provide bus passes for the trip and bus sevice is regular, although it was too full to get on the morning we tried to use it and it dropped us off a 10 minute walk away at night (the driver said it would be a 15min further ride and we should walk).
Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable.

The pictures did not represent the size of small condo. With four adults, we were cramped. The bathrooms are in dire need of updating and cleaning! The furniture is not clean either. The balcony was only big enough for two people. The staff were friendly and helpful, but the place was not worth what we paid for it.

The condo is in a great location, 6 minute bus ride from downtown. The hot tubs had a great view. The kitchen was well stocked with basic cooking needs. The staff were checking in regularly to change out towels and bedding, which was helpful. I stayed with my friends the first three nights, then my family for the remaining four nights. There was free parking on site. Quiet area, which was appreciated for our early morning hikes and mid day naps!

The condo was as described - 2 bedrooms on the downstairs floor with a shared bathroom. The loft also had a bathroom with tub/shower. There are several nice grills in the courtyard area. The cookware was a little skimpy, we had to ask for a cookie sheet (but one was provided). Also, there are no paper towels. Overall it is a beautiful location and a great unit for families and the bus stop is at the property.

I was woken up three nights in a row. The first two nights by very loud guests past 2am. The third night there was a fire in one of the units and there was quite a commotion. I don't recommend booking a unit facing the inward courtyard. Also, the unit was lacking paper towels and the front desk didn't have any. The coffee wasn't resupplied but the front desk was able to provide more. I just felt that it wasn't homey feeling - very bare bones. Beds are comfortable but could use more blankets. Great location, though.

We enjoyed our overnight getaway at this property. The views are amazing, the beds comfy and the layout of the suite was perfect. And the hot pools are the cherry on top!

This is basically a condo hotel. That was not made clear in the listing. Since it was a VRBO, I expected that it would be a privately owned property that Leavetown was managing in a small cluster of units. The resort itself is nice, good location, bus service to town, hot tubs, grills, and more. Our unit had a horrible smell in the bathroom for the first 24 hours that seemed to be coming from the pipes/drains. The refrigerator door had all of the railings broken off so we couldn't put anything on the door storage racks, the bathroom door wouldn't latch closed and we had to have maintenance come fix it, then the door that went outside woundn't lock so we had to have that fixed. There is craked tiles in the kitchen floor, grout is missing. The cleaning staff took the pillowcase off my personal pillow and I had to dig it out of the dirtly clothes bag they left in front of our door. The resort had a lot to offer but I was horribly disappointed in our unit. I wish the name of Hidden Ridge Resort would have been disclosed from the beginning. Service by the reception staff was wonderful and the setting is beautiful. But I'm not sure I'd go back.

We had a great time at the property. The on site staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. The real fireplace( with firewood and kindling provided) was a huge hit after being cold on the slopes.

Overall was fine. Did not use the kitchen. Appliances and utensils were adequate but limited. Downstairs bathroom shower needs a little more cleaning.

Clean property, great location. Only minor gripe was lack of hot tub units/space in the resort. Parking a little tight but manageable. Overall positive experience - I would stay there again.
