We had a wonderful time at the cottage , our best friends were there for 2 nights and it was the perfect place to spend time catching up. The views are amazing , sitting on the back porch was so relaxing. The cottage was very clean. We will definately book again !

Beautiful cabin on the lake. The screen porch was a perfect spot for morning coffee and/or evening cocktails as well as yoga and meditation.

You know about the electrical stuff. Everything else was really wonderful. We do have two suggestions. The first one to us was a big thing. Your house was spotlessly clean. The porch screens were not. The other thing was about the cutlery. There were plenty of spoons and forks but only 4 knives. That was a problem. We have found more houses going to thrift stores and buys wide varieties of good quality cutlery that are crazy cheap and fun! Just an idea! Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Quiet property with lake view. We enjoyed a hort 2 night family stay to relax. The cabin style cottage has a view of the lake and a screened porch. The location is on a quiet road with no traffic. Comfortably sleeps 4 adults and 4-5 children.

We enjoyed our stay from booking to check out! We planned a trip to Kentucky mainly to visit the Mammoth Caves and enjoy a nice cabin on the lake and we got just that and more! Sheri was great with answering our questions even weeks in advance from our stay. Her cottage was beautiful outside and in! Beds were comfy and the pillows fluffy! We had 4 adults and 2 preteens and all were comfortable and had plenty of room! The cottage was clean and well maintained and had all the kitchen needs you can think of. And the porch was an awesome space with a VIEW to chat, have morning stretches , sip coffee…or wine…lol and make memories! Book it!!

This cottage is absolutely beautiful, inside and out ! Very clean, comfortable, spacious, and well stocked with everything you need ! We did a girls hiking trip, there were 7 of us, and we had plenty of room! The huge screened in porch was our favorite hang out spot, with a gorgeous view of the lake. The sunsets were amazing! A perfect location, Mammoth Caves 35-40 min away, Barren River Lake State Park was close for a day hike and a pontoon rental was close for a day of cruising Barren River Lake! Communication with Sherry was great ! She is awesome, very quick to respond to any questions we had ! We also enjoyed meeting and visiting with her neighbors..an awesome couple as well ! Best relaxing getaway ever ! Definitely did not disappoint !! Would highly recommend this amazing "Lakeview Cottage" and we hope to make a return visit !! Again..."Thank You Sherry !!" Laurie P.

What an amazing property. My friend and I do a girls week once or twice a year and have used VRBO many times. We always have a great property, however, this time was absolutely the best! From the cute exterior to the immaculate interior, we could not have found a better place to stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the screened in deck overlooking the lake and the birds fliting around. Bowling Green, Glasgow and Mammoth Cave are all within 30 to 40 minutes, making it a great central location to enjoy the area. We would definitely stay at this property again.

Beautiful cottage with a beautiful view. We had a wonderful little weekend. Fired up the grill and spent time enjoying nature on the screened in porch. The view is amazing. We hope to come back someday.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is immaculate, well designed, and extremely comfortable. The huge porch on the back of the house was everyone's favorite place to welcome the day with a hot cup of coffee and a cozy blanket. We enjoyed playing games at the kitchen table, sitting around the fireplace revisiting our day's journeys, and soaking in the gorgeous view of the lake. The location of the house lent itself to trips to Corevette Museum, the Diamond Caverns, and a couple jaunts into Nashville. We were always thrilled to get back to decompress from our active days. Sherry is extremely responsive to any questions you may have. Details around the house that catered to renters proved she is a natural hostess. Her upbeat demeanor made it very easy to approach her with incidental inquiries. All of us agreed that we wouldn't hesitate to return to this lovely home.

Nice place. The wood interior really made us feel like we were in a cabin even though it was a high end home. Home has a nice feel to it with gas fireplace, large screen TV and high view of the lake. Had everything we needed and owner was top notch.

A well built, comfortable house. We arrived in a historic polar vortex so didn't get to enjoy the porch or nearby attractions. The heat worked well and the gas fireplace was nice - in doses. Enjoyed the living room views and found a telescope that turned out to be something to do.

This place is beautiful with a gorgeous view. Sherry was very helpful and accommodating. The house is very clean with comfortable beds and furniture. Everything you need is there, including fresh, fluffy towels.

This Lakeview Cottage is in pristine condition, with lots of amenities, including a wonderful screened-in porch that has a beautiful view of Barren River Lake. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook any meals there, including an outdoor gas grill. The beds are all very comfortable with plenty of extra blankets & a fireplace for cold weather. This cottage is so cute, with a lot of wooden interior walls, flooring, kitchen cabinets, etc. It's attractively decorated with cabin & lake themes. This is my family's third time to stay at this relaxing getaway! We will come back again!

The photos of the lake view don't do it justice! From the moment you walk in the door, the back wall of windows draws your eyes to the lake. We couldn't get over how pretty it was! The house is so cute and the ground floor bedroom was perfect for my 80+ year old mother. The downstairs bath is enormous and the washer and dryer was appreciated. Upstairs, the other two bedrooms (one with a lake view) and extra bathroom are very comfortable and clean. I enjoyed the solitude of the area very much. Having our morning coffee on the back porch was the highlight of our days. The kitchen was well supplied with cookware and plates, glasses, etc. We also enjoyed the fireplace in the cool mornings. Once we went to the grocery, we realized we didn't want to leave the house again! Communication with the host was easy and responses were very quick. We had no issues during our stay and I would love to go back to Lakeview Cottage again!

Lovely property inside and out. The wall of windows in the kitchen/living area brought the great view of the lake indoors. The kitchen served us very well as we cooked all our meals.

My friends and I take a trip every year and this is our 5th year. We have never been disappointed with our VRBO experience, and this was no exception. The place was very clean and welcoming. We all loved the screened in porch and the view of the lake. There was plenty of room for three adults and the bedrooms were nicely decorated and comfortable. I would love to come back and highly recommend it to any of my other friends.

This house has an amazing lake view. It is clean and comfortable. Just a short drive to the recreation area where we had kayak rentals dropped off from Bob and Yo’s. We hiked at Mammoth Cave one day which is around a 40 minute drive away.

This cozy lake house provided the perfect base station for exploring nearby Mammoth Cave. The property was very clean and had all the amenities needed for a restful long weekend. We particularly enjoyed spending time on the screened in porch with beautiful lake view. I would highly recommend this place to friends and family for future stays.

Our family met up for a long weekend. House was wonderful- added bonus for family games available during our visit and very nice coffee/tea bar. We had kids toddler through high school and all enjoyed their stay. Owner very responsive to pre-trip questions.
