Thank you so much for the lovely stay. Although I was unable to attend, my husband, son, daughter, and son-in-law were able to stay. They all made mention of how clean everything was, how everything was comfortable and well appointed. It was easy to check in and check out. I think beds could have been a little bit softer (all four commented on that), but your place is beautiful! Would also recommend ceiling fans or floor fans in each room to cut out noise and for better temperature. Would highly recommend your place. Thank you.

Appartment worked well for us. Clean with everything we needed. Parking is on the street first come first serve. We were able to find a apot within the block.

Overall the house is really nice, clean, and spacious. Looks exactly like the pictures. The check-in process was easy and simple. The owner allowed us to check in early which was really nice. I really appreciate that. The location is in a quiet neighborhood with several stores and restaurants nearby. It's like 15-20 minutes from downtown (depends on traffic). I did not like how firm the bed mattress is. Some people may like extra firm but it was not to my liking. Also, the downstairs area hardly stayed heated. I guess that's why the fireplace is there to keep the downstairs heated. Because the actual unit is not enough to keep the full house heated. The downstairs bedroom and bathroom stayed cold the entire stay even with the heat unit on. Other than that, I would definitely stay here again. It was a great stay!

This was the perfect spot for our family trip to Chicago. We were looking for a spot we could easily access the highway to head downtown and have space to relax after busy days. This hit the mark. The place was in a great neighborhood that was quiet. There was always parking available. We appreciated the TVs in every room. Would definitely stay here again.

Totally loved this place. It had it all … from washer, to dishes, to bottled water, to cleanliness. I would stay here again! Getting through the first door was a challenge but the owner was just a phone call away and resolved the issue immediately! Also loved the attention to detail and clear instructions outlined in a welcoming binder. Had a great time!

Everything was very clean and tidy when we arrived! Great neighborhood! There were snacks and a coffee bar which was a hit! The linens and beds were comfy and clean! Great place to have our family Christmas! One very minor complaint was the kitchen didn’t have as many utensils or mixing bowls, plates, platters etc. Wished there were some, but we made do. 10/10 would stay here again!

We stayed at Guirlaine's place over Thanksgiving for 11 nights - 4 adults, one child and one infant from California and Sweden. Correspondence with Guirlaine's was super easy and she made sure to make our stay as comfortable as possible. She gave us a discount upfront for the extended stay when I requested. She accommodated the baby with a new play pen and high chair. We requested amenities twice and she complied quickly. She had a nice handbook describing the home and Chicago. Property was excellent. Super, super clean upon arrival and the amenities were hotel quality - Chicago decorations, large fluffy towels, large firm and comfortable beds, gigantic tvs in all bedrooms and living spaces w/ streaming services, wifi, bathroom toiletries, phone chargers, number padlock security. Home amenities like clean and efficient laundry just downstairs was a crucial, heavenly convenience. Loved waffle iron and dual coffee machine for Kurig and pot, including pods, sugar and creamer. Kitchen stocked with a welcome basket of snacks and water bottles in the fridge. Lots of street parking out front. Loved two separate living spaces w/ cards and a few board games. Originally from Chicago, I appreciated the easy access to I-90 to downtown or O'Hare, short drive to groceries. Jefferson Park is a nice, safe, family-friendly neighborhood. The only opportunity - add a few mixing bowls in the kitchen to prepare food. We would definitely stay here again, thank you for a wonderful visit.

We had a great experience here. The property was immaculate, the beds were comfortable, and the location was excellent for our purposes and is located in a safe, cozy, quiet neighborhood. The kitchen was extremely well furnished, and we appreciated the variety of coffees, teas, and snacks provided for us. The host was communicative and helpful. We absolutely would stay here again, without hesitation.

Traveled here from PA for the Penn State game. Great house and location. Worked out will with public transportation. Very clean and felt homey. Could use a few more coffee mugs. Mattresses may need flipped. Please visit the Friendly Tavern 1.5 blocks away. Made use feel like regulars. We Are!

Very nice place and clean. The neighborhood is quiet and seemed safe. Kind of a trek to downtown and it would have been nice to enjoy smoking on the deck, but house rules didn’t allow for it.

This place exceeded our expectations based on what we’ve experienced with past vacation rentals. It was clean, well stocked with all essentials, in an ideal location for all our outings, close to public transportation which (we used several times), located in an established neighborhood with friendly neighbors. Guirlaine was responsive in all communications. She even left a welcome to Chicago postcard for us, nice personal touch. I would definitely stay here again. 5 stars is not a high enough rating for this place.

This is our first time been to Chicago. Seeing all the news about Chicago crime, safety is our top priority. When we get to the place, our concerns are all gone. The tree lined street is super lovely. Neighborhood is very quiet. Off street parking is abundant. Inside, it was super clean and very comfortable. My family had an awesome time and experience n Chicago starting with the apartment. In addition, the property owner is super friendly and responsive. Initially I couldn’t get into the apartment. I texted the owner and she responded immediately and sent someone to let us in right away. Even with Chicago traffic, we were into the apartment in 20 minutes. Super highly recommended for anyone looking for a safe place to stay in Chicago. Thank you.

We really enjoyed the home. The rooms were very spacious. We loved having two living areas, so we could relax and watch tv. It was a great neighborhood with lots of family out walking. We felt safe staying here for the weekend.

My friend’s daughter lives in Chicago, so my friend planned a Girls’ Trip with 5 of her closest friends. It was all of our first times visiting Chicago. We wanted to make sure we stayed in a safe area. The home we stayed in was clean and our host was amazing. When we texted her about questions or concerns, she answered us quickly. The neighbors next to the home are also friendly. This was truly a home away from home!

we were a group of 6 adults going to a theater show in downtown chicago. This house was clean and well prepared in a quiet neighborhood. I was pleasantly surprised when i found out that the nearby train stop could help me avoid the hassle of driving downtown!

The house is in a nice quiet neighborhood on a beautiful tree lined street. We had four adults and needed three bedrooms, two bathrooms, so this was a perfect fit. Very roomy, spotless and comfortable. We really couldn’t have asked for more. I wouldn’t arrive in more than one vehicle due to the street parking, but we never had a problem finding parking in front of the house for our car. Loved the house and fell in love with Chicago on our first visit! Highly recommend.

It was nice and cozy with homie feel. There were all the items needed to improve you trip away from home. Like, things you get from a hotel ( dispensers of shampoo, etc in the showers, free coffee but much more quantity and options of both, Tons of space with enough to not be on top of each other. A kitchen that includes the essentials but with great extras. For example, spices and bags of ice cubes ready in the freezer. One thing I think would have made it better would be more games then just Jenga
