Beautiful home and Great neighborhood Really enjoyed the lake

Had a great time. Property is as described. The house is beautiful inside and there is plenty of room for a large group. There are stairs to access the residence but that is noted in the description. One of our guests is in a wheelchair but we were able to get him inside with the use of ramps we brought once inside he had no issues navigating to the bedroom or bathroom. Would recommend for large groups or families.

We spent our father's day weekend at this home. Everything was working fine except the fridge didn't dispense water or ice, which really wasn't a big issue since we brought our own water and there were ice trays to make more ice. Other than that it's a beautiful home, the spiders work really fast on building webs so keep that in mind. There was a snake and babies under the dock so anyone who does visit, be careful! It was peaceful and a very much needed getaway for the whole family. 10/10 recommend.

Clean, updated, and a beautiful lake setting

We booked directly through Evolve and ran into no issues with communication. Received text in the morning of check in with lock code and got quick responses back when I had some questions. House was nice and clean. Enough space for everyone. Downsides, one of the rooms w/ bunk bed and full bed does not have a door. Also, the master bath is kind of like a Jack in Jill to that room. So if someone is using the restroom, you can't access the master bedroom unless you go from the deck side. We were all family, so the no door was not much a problem. We enjoyed the outside the most and spent majority of time relaxing there. Nice patio with plenty of chairs, 3 decks to fish from, upper deck to hang out on. The kids and adults enjoyed playing and fishing. Downside, outside gas grill was dirty and unusable, small charcoal also dirty and didn't look pleasant to grill on. There is a fireplace that was great to use, while some members were still night fishing. Overall, house was a great weekend getaway. I would rent again.

Access was easy. Lots of parking. Deck areas are great. One room does not have a door. Closes to Walmart and Brookshire's for grocery runs.

First, we did not receive check-in instructions in a timely matter because Karen (the contract person) "sent the information to the wrong number". I reached out at 2:42pm for the lock box code and received zero response until 3:39pm. Per the email we received from Evolve, check-in was at 3pm. We had to contact evolve directly to get a code for the lock box as we stood in the heat waiting. Second, we arrive to no dishwasher with a note taped to it with a bandaid, saying it was broken. Yes, a bandaid. We had 10 people in a house with no dishwasher and were not informed it was broken before arrival. I am sure you can imagine how fun that was hand washing dishes all weekend. The kitchen disposal also wasn't working. Third, the shower head in the master bathroom was taped together with masking tape. The shower head would not stay up and we had 5 people using that bathroom. Masking tape- really? Fourth, we purchased a box fan for the master bedroom, which we left there, because the room was incredibly warm all day/night. Feel free to keep it for the next guest. Fifth, there was a mouse in the kitchen. An actual mouse. It ran under the sink and when we opened the cabinets, we saw that there was a pack of mouse traps so apparently, it is an issue that hasn't been resolved. A few other things: we found several roaches inside, there was no hammock as advertised, I think a "fully stocked kitchen" is a bit of a stretch, per the listing. Ice maker in fridge also wasn't working. We reached out to evolve and the property manager before posting this but with no success (email we received was kicked back to us). I would take your money elsewhere, personally. I have pictures of all of the above issues as well if anyone has any questions to the accuracy of this review. We rented this property over July 4th weekend and paid a premium. I would never rent this place again.

My extended family and I thought this house was a hidden gem. It slept all of us comfortably, had plenty of space and the shaded porch was a surprise bonus.
