This property is as awesome as it is described!.

Had a great stay at The Breck Haus. The property was as advertised and described in the listing,. The location, just a few blocks from Main Street, was great. It was an easy downhill walk there....it took a bit more energy to walk back!

First, there is something important that I didn't realize. Breckenridge is the third highest city in elevation in North America and that is just the town itself. It doesn't include the mountain to ski/snowboard. Altitude sickness is a real thing for both adults and children. Our one year old grandson became quite ill The doctor at the mountain clinic recommended that his parents fly him back home. He's fine now, thankfully, but babies and children are definitely impacted by the elevation. Moving Mountains provides a free shuttle. Using the app, plan in advance to order a shuttle as it can take over 30 minutes depending on time of day. Also, we were not told that the shuttle has certain stop locations so ask your driver. The drivers were all very nice, but some needed a bit more training regarding the layout of the town and neighborhoods. The Breck Haus itself was very nice, amply stocked for all of your needs and comfort and managed very well. However, the layout is not for everyone. The main level bedroom has a full bath in the hall. The two bunk rooms share a bath, and the upstairs two kings share a bath. This is fine if you have tween or teenagers. The kitchen is small as well as the dining area. The mud room is great, but does not accommodate the capacity that the house advertises. Our group went from 10 adults and 5 children to 6 adults and 4 children ( 2 toddlers, 2 infants ). If our entire group were present, it would haven been a tight fit.

The Breck House was the perfect home for a relaxing getaway! The lower level has a great game room for the kids and there is an awesome hot tub on the back porch. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you will need for a gourmet feast including a wide variety of spices. The indoor and outdoor fireplaces are gorgeous and put off a tremendous amount of heat. The house is stocked with ample supplies and has an extra refrigerator in the garage. Our group loved the house!

A chef's kitchen with every gadget to whip up a home cooked meal, dessert, or just toast some bread. The large covered patio was a great resource in the afternoon rain and we felt good about the spa as it was completely emptied, cleaned and refilled as we were checking in. Easy walk to town, slightly harder coming back (uphill!)

Great house. Awesome stay!

Experience was great from booking to check out. House was better than expected. All 12 of us had a great time!
