Fabulous weekend getaway - we met our adult kids in Carmel and had a wonderful time. The house is perfect with plenty of space to spare. We had a great time relaxing at the house as well as exploring Carmel. Thank you for a great get away!

The house was one of the nicest rentals we've stayed in! They have thought of everything. The kitchen was incredibly well organized and had all the accessories you need, plus more. Home felt warm, nice touches. Loved the deck and hot tub even though it was raining. Very clean and great for a dog. Good sized rooms and all with king beds. It had a hotel like feel with all the extra thoughtful things. Too small points. 1) you hear the traffic in the quiet at night and early morning as the house is right next to Cabrillo Hwy, 2) I couldn't reach anyone the afternoon before checkout to ask about late checkout. There was so much communication about getting in touch with them for any reason, but in the end I couldn't reach them to get an answer about check out.

This house is pristine, roomy and feels luxurious. We were told there was a high chair but couldn’t fine one and as soon as the manager found out one was delivered! The deck with hot tub was extraordinary. We had use of the garage, two refrigerators and extra rooms so we could time-out when someone needed a break. We are very thankful for this experience.

Beautiful home inside and out. Huge deck with several seating areas and hot tub! Great location. Short drive to town. Beds were so comfortable. Highly recommend. We won’t stay anywhere else the next time we are in the area. Thanks to Marco for all his advise.

We loved how beautiful this home and property were and property manager Marco was just amazing-so easy to communicate with. We had an A+++ experience-and we were so close to the ocean! Thank you Pacific Retreat for treating our family so well!

This house is beautiful. The yard is gorgeous with all the flowers blooming. It is definitely a storybook garden. The patio is large and a great gathering place to spend the evening with friends. The inside was so spotless. It is very roomy and perfect for 6-8 people. The master bedroom is upstairs and is large with a incredible bathroom. We loved this house and definitely recommend it to anyone who visits Carmel. It is close to town and to the all the incredible restaurant this charming city has to offer.

I can't say enough about how amazing our stay was. The house is spacious and comfortable. The host has provided so many things including Ziploc bags, foil, hand soap, etc. You can easily come without anything and be just fine. There were seven of us staying there and we were very comfortable. We had a packed schedule and it felt great to have a "home" to come back to. The beds were SO comfortable, each room had so much space, and the outdoor space was expansive and beautiful. We started the day eating breakfast outside and ended a long day in the hot tub. I would give this property more than five stars if I could. I highly recommend and would come back in a heartbeat

This place was amazing! I must say that the pictures don’t do it justice. The interior of the home looked brand new, impeccably clean, and gorgeous. Very spacious - my family of 8 stayed there comfortably. You walk thru a private gate into the front yard with an English garden and a babbling bird bath. The back yard is private with a hot tub, grill, and fire pit. There’s plenty of room inside for up to eight people. My family of 8 stayed there in June and there was plenty of room. Just to explain the interior … almost everything is on the main floor: kitchen, dining area, living room, full bath, 3 bedrooms (but one is set up as a sitting room with a pull out sofa), and a family/TV room that has a pull out sofa. Upstairs is a super private HUGE master bedroom with a gorgeous spacious bathroom. It’s close to town but not walkable (IMO). The highway is a few blocks away as some have mentioned - but we didn’t find it bothersome. Marco from Carmel Coast Estate Management was super communicative, making sure everything was great with our stay and quickly responded to any questions we had. Awesome stay!

Checkin was a little frustrating because it was at a different location and there was a line, but the place was fantastic!

Great location close to downtown Carmel (not walking) and proximity to all golf the Monterey Peninsula has to offer. Beautiful property with 3 bedrooms 3 baths plus 2 bonus rooms that have sleeper sofas in them. Well-equipped kitchen and great deck with firepit and bbq and tons of outdoor furniture. TVs throughout. Master bedroom suite with balcony. Really the best VRBO I've ever stayed in.

Three nights was not enough to enjoy all the amenities the property has to offer and enjoy local attractions! The house is beautiful and sparkling clean with a kitchen and master suite to die for. The yard is enchanting and fully enclosed, a great place to hangout with kids and pets. The only reason for four stars on location is some traffic noise at night, otherwise liked woodsy setting.

My husband and I spent 7 days and 7 nights at this home and just checked out this morning. The house and property are even better than in the photos. The master suite was a highlight for sure - at least 800 square feet and beautifully decorated. The walk-in closet was huge. The shower was very large and had a rain shower. The soaking tub was right by a window from which you could see the Pacific Ocean - a special sight especially in the evening as the sun set on the horizon. The master bedroom bed was very comfortable - comparable to a 4-star hotel experience. And from the balcony, we had an excellent view of the beautiful front gardens. The downstairs level of the house was huge - two large bedrooms, two family rooms plus the living/dining room great room area. The skylights in the dining room and the surround windows flooded that room with tons of light. The kitchen was stocked with every conceivable item needed to cook any meal. We made four dinners at the house and found everything that we needed - and especially liked the high end grill on the deck. The living room was very comfortable and stylish - but we ended up spending most of our leisure time out on the deck or in the front family room. The deck was incredibly beautiful - from the views of the enormous surrounding trees to the gardens that surrounded the deck. And the furniture out there was very comfortable - we spent a lot of time out there, sipping wine, reading books and having our coffee in the morning. I couldn't conclude this review without mentioning the garage - it was first rate - from the coated floor to the cabinets with spare supplies. We would't hesitate parking our collector Porsche in this garage. Overall, we would rate this as one of the top VRBO rentals that we have experienced in the last 10 years (we typically rent two homes/year at the $750/night price point). Finally, I need to mention three helpful observations: (1) we didn't feel comfortable walking to Carmel (narrow streets; no evening lights; fast cars); (2) the entire yard is fenced-in - but if you bring a young, athletic dog that weighs more than 50 pounds, s/he could conceivably jump the low front gate; and (3) the home is very close to the Pacific Coast Highway (Route 1) - for the most part, we got used to the hum of traffic; but from time-to-time, the motorcycles and high performance cars were a bit noisy. I wouldn't let any of my observations deter you from reserving this home.
