This was our third time staying here. House was super clean upon arrival. The amenities are perfect for our family dynamics. The pontoon was fun. We were constantly in the water. Kayaking is great on this lake. Very quiet and tranquil especially in the early morning when the eagle is flying around the lake. Very clean water. Nice and warm too. I did a lot of cooking, and the kitchen is very functional. Lots of stores close by. I went often to pick up each day's foods and snacks. The shed has everything your family could need to enjoy this home and lake. So many water toys and life vests of all sizes. Can't wait to book next summer!

I went for the week with my mom as well as my sister and our combined 4 children. The lake has a Sandy/pebbly bottom with clear water and was shallow enough for even the youngest kids to stand. Easy access from stairs on the dock. The end of the dock was deep enough for the older kids to jump off. Very pleasantly surprised by lack of any bugs.
The use of the pontoon boat was a huge plus, especially that it has a canopy.
Also canoes, kayaks, paddle boat. Lots of life vests and noodles/water toys.
The house AC stood up to a severe heat wave, and every room has working AC unit.

We loved this property! The house was perfect for our family with 2 seperate areas so everyone had room to spread out. It was clean and comfortable and the communication with the owner was excellent. The pontoon boat and kayaks were so much fun and the lake beyond peaceful! I highly recommend and we will definitely be back.

We stayed here for a weekend for our daughter’s wedding nearby. The property was perfect and I wish we were able to stay longer to enjoy everything there. The home was equipped with everything we could possibly need, a fully stocked kitchen, lots of towels and extra linens, toiletries. And the home itself was wonderful-lots of space to relax together. We loved the screened in porch and spent most of our time out there. We so wished we had time to use the pontoon boat and other boats and boards! In addition, Amanda was so helpful with information about the property and accommodating with an early checkin as well. Thank you for a wonderful stay in your beautiful home!

Rented this home for the second time. We had a blast with our two daughters and their families. Had only one rain day but managed to keep it fun and get a little outdoor activity time. This year I utilized the close proximity of the grocery stores and did not bring my entire home fridge contents. What a difference that made lol. The house was very clean upon arrival. The host thought of everything you might need while away from home. Our grandkids love this home. The pontoon is a great feature, and the house is roomy and fills our needs.

We had a great time! We enjoyed the Pontoon boat and it worked for all 9 of us. The weather was cold the next day but we stayed in and played a great game of 25 words or less we we laughed and laughed. Would definitely rent again!

Our group of 6 was celebrating our 28th annual Fall Party gathering. Check in was at 3pm but Amanda was so accommodating knowing we wanted to get the most out of our day and allowed us to check in in the AM. The home had everything we needed except the microwave in the kitchen was out but luckily there was a kitchenette in the lower level which was more convenient for serving our snacks outside. The propane fire pit was amazing for the later hours and there was plenty of room for all 6 of us. Check in with the lock box was easy and lock up instructions for trash etc were clear. We would defiantly rent again!

The house was great for our weekend getaway with friends. It was too cold to go in the water but the pontoon boat and fire pit were perfect for the fall weekend and beautiful sunsets. The owners were very responsive and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here because we had a wedding in Sturbridge MA (40 min away) and then stayed the week for vacation. There is TONS of room, one more bed than what was stated. We enjoyed the indoor and outdoor spaces, including taking out the paddleboat multiple times and the electric pontoon once (pretty much end of season, but was so fun!). My husband got a fishing license and caught some bass too. This is one of the better properties we have stayed at, many supplies available in the home and stores nearby.
One concern I had was the location to an industrial park and RR tracks (across the street from the house). It really did not affect our stay- the water was quiet, and the trains did not run on the weekends or at night.

Our 3 night stay at the Lake was perfect! Fall Foliage, beautiful sunsets and EVERYTHING you could possibly need at the house. We really enjoyed the Pontoon boat, kayaks and being out on the water. Alexander's Lake is so clean! Cute shops + restaurants near by plus convenience of big box stores. We personally loved hearing the train go by, and our favorite room was the screened porch! We enjoyed playing board games, sitting around the fire pit and grilling on the grill! Awesome Fall get-a-way! Thank you Amanda for being so attentive and providing an awesome, cozy property for us!

10/10 would stay again. My partner and I got married around the corner and our wedding party stayed here. It was absolutely perfect. The deck overlooks the lake and was perfect for morning coffee. The house was so comfortable and cozy. We will definitely try to cross country again for this place!

We were here for a weekend and no one wanted to leave! Amanda was very easy to communicate with and let us check out late, which we really appreciated. The pontoon boat was the highlight of our stay. The deck is large, propane fire pit is perfect, plenty of chairs, the kitchen is well-stocked, there's an outside grill, bedrooms are a good size--we can't wait to come back!

Our family enjoyed a relaxing week at the lake. The location of this property on the lake was absolutely perfect with a shallow beach area for our kids to swim and splash in. The lake water was crystal clear and there were so many ways to enjoy it. The house provided kayaks, a paddle boat and pontoon boat which we loved! The outdoor space was perfect with a big umbrella and lots of seating. I wish the house was a bit more updated but it was very well stocked and has a nice homey feel. We would definitely stay again.

Great summer getaway
The property has everything you need for a great summer getaway with the friends or family. Our kids enjoyed swimming in a very clean lake. We used the boats a few times to get around the lake. Amanda was very responsive. Great place!

A Little Lakeside Heaven!
This house on Alexander Lake was perfect for our girls weekend away! The house is all set up with everything we could have wanted. From the kitchen, to bedrooms, baths, deck with plenty of chairs, umbrellas and firepit, and boating/swimming supplies... we had it all! The house was clean, bright and comfortable. We enjoyed swimming, canoeing and kayaking in the refreshing, crystal clear water. The lake is very peaceful and quiet due to the restriction for electric motors only. We sat out on the large, deck at night and enjoyed the firepit, and stargazing. Amanda, the host, was helpful and very easy to communicate with. We would love to come again!

Fabulous family getaway
This was such a wonderful place for a family getaway! The house is fully stocked with so much to do - multiple kayaks, canoes, paddle boat, water toys, board games, card games, video games, and more. The location is perfect - right on the water with a beautiful view of the lake, and 5 minutes from a major shopping area with grocery stores etc. Amanda (the host) was wonderful and very responsive to anything we needed. We hope to be back soon!

Beautiful location and very comfortable house. The only input I have is that the backyard and deck had spiderwebs around the tables and chairs and deck fencing. Wish those were cleaned up as I had to be extra careful with the kids.

Great time on the lake.
This was a great property for entertaining friends. I rented it to host my old college buddies for a golf weekend. The house had everything you’d want - propane fire pit on a great deck overlooking the lake, entertainment space to watch the PGA Championship and a pontoon boat for exploring the lake. We were all very impressed with this home. Thank you Amanda for a great experience. Next year’s host when we gather in New Jersey has his work cut out to match this experience. 😊
