My adult daughter and I had a wonderful stay at the apartment. The location was the best and allowed us to walk everywhere on our schedule , just like we wanted to. I understand there is a subway conveniently located nearby and we did uber once from the movie theater bc it was pretty late. Neither of us ever felt fearful while walking around , even in the evening and we are both veterans of cities. Nor did we worry about our car while it was parked on the street. Just an amazing location! It was extremely clean, The towels, sheets, and bedding, were all high quality and soft and made sleeping very comfortable. I always like to make some food when I stay at VRBOs and the kitchen set up had everything I could want. Paper towels, dish soap, sponge silverware , pots and pans of all sizes, a Keurig w pods available, a stove that worked well and a good refrigerator! All greatly appreciated. IKE was extremely responsive when we had a couple of questions. Entry was a breeze. Just be patient with the keypad. It works great but be deliberate , it is not an iphone. lol We felt very fortunate that we were able to stay at this apt and enjoyed our stay.

This was our last stop after visiting a few other citys. It was our favorite place to stay. So comfortable and accomodating. Absolutely beautiful neighborhood. Highly recommend!

Apartment is in a good location. Quiet for the most part. It is a garden apartment so it was nice and cool for the summer weather. Host is friendly and easy to work with.

It was a pleasure staying here. The location is exactly as described both being walking distance to the capital and surrounding area and sites and fully stocked w/ supplies and amenities. Ike was very responsive and cooperative. There are only 3 things that keep this from being a 5 star review...The damp and rusty entry to the basement apartment, the squeaky sagging cots in the living room and the noise in the master bedroom. None of which negatively affected the overall experience too much but could be addressed however.

My family stayed at this conveniently located and reasonably priced VRBO so we could see the national mall and all its sights. The location was perfect for walking every day to all the museums and monuments. Amenities and provisions were just right. Thanks for everything.

The basement apartment is very well-located, only a few blocks from the Capitol and Supreme Court. It is comfortable and well-appointed. The owner was very responsive, and checked in on us through VRBO messaging to ensure our stay was going well. Would certainly return!

This was a great place to stay with our family of five. Very warm, cosy and well appointed with lots of amenities. Location was great for the capitol, easy walk to union station and the local giant supermarket. Ike, our host, was brilliant. Lots of communication and top tips to make our stay even better. Highly recommend and would stay here again if we are ever back in Washington.

We stayed in DC for the weekend, this place was perfect! The location was perfect (we got a 3 day metro pass-saved so much $$). The host was so easy to communicate with, and I loved the amenities like the sound machine! My only qualm is that the water pressure in the showers were very weak. Overall, I would definitely come back and would recommend!

Friendly, comfortable basement apartment. All essential amenities supplied. Lovely and warm in December. The double beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had all we needed. I would love to stay again on our next trip from Australia. Thank you Ike for your friendly welcome. Sherry

Enjoyed our stay. The place was larger than the pictures show. Host was very accommodating.

The property is as described and is a great choice for visiting DC. We used Uber for most of our transportation but the metro is also nearby.

Everything went as planned . Ike was a great host following up on us and making sure we had everything we needed to make for a pleasant stay in his place . Property was only few blocks away from Congress . Parking was relatively easy to find within same block . Only one comment , since property is located on a basement and steps are a little difficult to people with reduced mobility a hand rail could have been really helpful .

This is a wonderful property in a terrific location. Check in was a breeze and there were several thoughtful amenities: quality toiletries, snacks that any teen or adult would love, dish soap, laundry soap, a parking pass, easy Wi-Fi, and a detailed guide to the property and sightseeing. We had a large group that was accommodated with extra beds. We would definitely stay here again.

Property was great! Near all the major attractions. Easy walk to the national mall. Beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed for a great family vacation.

We traveled to DC with our four little children and felt like we were at home. This property had EVERYthing. The owners were kind enough to have snacks available for my children! My coffee addict husband had what he needed too. Plenty of space, beds, and every amenity possible (lotion, shampoo, conditioner, laundry detergent, air fryer, pots and pans, etc). Truly a gem property!

Location was great for my family to walk over to the mall or get to metro. Place was very clean. Communication was excellent, and was even flexible with check out. Easy check in/out. Although fully equipt, as pictured, not much kitchen counter space if you want to do a lot of cooking, which we didn't, so it was not a problem. It was a great comfortable stay for my family of 4! Highly recommend!

Me and three friends stayed here over the weekend. It's great being so close to the capitol and the east end of the mall. The immediate neighborhood was pretty residential, but easy walks to several nearby restaurants which varied from local diner to fancy French bistros. Ike was very responsive and made sure we were comfortable.
