We have stayed at the salt life retreat twice now! Bothe times have been great! Such a great location and Joe is an awesome host! We can’t wait for our trip next year!

Previous reviews were spot-on! This camp was clean and well-appointed. Beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed to make our stay pleasant. Our dog enjoyed playing in the fenced-in back yard and we enjoyed the outdoor living spaces. The boat shed and boat-lift were added bonuses!

Very nice and relaxing place with great water accessibility. Browns market and dollar store close by. We were able to fish everyday of our stay. Caught over 300 fish, mind you these were not all fish to keep, but a verity of different species. We're able to catch a few bull reds as well. And also caught enough crab for a good boil. Looking forward to our next time here at this great place!

Beautiful house and spacious, the ice maker and water didn’t work, but that was ok for us…we brought our own water and ice. The outside grounds were beautiful, clean, and very well maintained. We would definitely stay here again!

The Lake house was very clean, neat and location was wonderful. The only one thing that needs to be seen about is the bathroom between the 2 bedrooms is some of the lights were burnt or didn’t work which is ok I thought the owner should know

Awesome camp. Liked the fenced in large back yard. Me and family had quality fellowship with plenty of room on location. Didn’t catch much fish due to hot weather, rough sea, and dealing with unusual low tides. As the old saying goes it’s not about catching fish it’s about spending time with family and fishing. Very enjoyable vacation. Will go back there soon. No complaints.

We loved this house. Only stayed 2 nights. Favorite part was the screened in patio. Everything was great. Only suggestion is to clean refrigerator out after guests leave. When we got there, several open soda/beer cans in fridge and freezer.

We thank Mr. Joe K. For a exceptional stay. I especially am grateful for the allowance of the family pet! The place was clean. We had great access to great fishing spots quickly. Live shrimp and ice were near by.
I would recommend this location to everyone I know! Love the screen porch and fenced yard - we did not have to worry about our pet roaming.

We had a wonderful time at this camp. It is very well maintained and clean. The owner was excellent to deal with! It was an absolute pleasure!

Nice clean place. Great porch & view. Adequately equipped what we needed for cooking, etc. Note one of the bedrooms have small beds for kids size or smaller adults, but worked for us.

We had an amazing experience, camp was absolutely perfect, and we will definitely be back. The back porch was my favorite!!! So relaxing. Great Location, great communication with owner, book it! You wont regret it!!

The property was exactly as described. The screened porch is a wonderful hang out area. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were great as well. TVs in living room and all bedrooms. Kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans and utensils plus a good selection of essentials like spices etc. The owner, Joe, is a really nice guy and was very responsive on the one issue we had which was not his fault at all (cable/wifi outage in the neighborhood that only lasted a short while). However he did call back to ensure everything was working to our satisfaction. The location of the property is great if your looking for a quiet place to getaway but there are stores and seafood shops nearby. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay.

The house was very nice, better than the pictures. It was clean, spacious and well furnished. I think our favorite part was the screened porch in the back. Plenty of room, furniture and a great place to just relax. Joe was great to deal with, very receptive and accommodating. We will definitely rent again if we are back in the area.

Joe’s place was brilliant, great value for money and great location, Clean and welcoming, beds were comfy and the shower was great , added bonuses with coffee and somewhere to cool the wine. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay on the water and very close to salt water fishing.

Beautiful well maintained home in nice quiet neighborhood. Easy communication with host. Kitchen well equipped. It was a plus not having to bring our own linens and towels. Enjoyed the spacious fenced yard. It gave our dog a safe place to run and play. Screened room below house and screened back porch so options to be outside even when bugs were bad.

The camp is in a great location for all kinds of water activities!! The camp was clean and well maintained!! It was perfect for our fishing and crabbing trip!! Joe was great!! He answered all my questions before and during our stay very promptly. We would definitely stay here again!!!

We loved this house and it was set up perfect for our family’s needs. It was spacious and we loved the screen porch with lots of comfy furniture so we could enjoy sitting outside without fighting mosquitos. The boat lift and fish cleaning rooms were wonderful and very convenient. We definitely plan to stay here again in the future.

We originally booked for 5 nights and ended up booking an extra night. The house is great and Joe was as well. Can't wait to come back!
