We love staying at this home every year!

A wonderful beach house for a family getaway. Enjoyed the hot tub and just steps to miles of beautiful beach! Sadly the weather was not the best and couldn’t take advantage of the fire pit. Kitchen was well stocked. Beds were very comfy. Upstairs bed was rather high for us. Understandably shoes are not worn in house so be careful on stairs, they are a little slick and one of us had a fall.

We had a wonderful stay and we're so pleased with a great location as well as a very comfortable and welcoming home.

"A true beach house," my husband called it. We have stayed many places in Rockaway Beach, and this place had the easiest path from deck to wet feet. The house is comfy, our bed was comfy. I think the biggest drawback to the place for me is that the main bedroom is on the side of the house closest to the road so instead of the sound of crashing waves putting me to sleep, it was the sound of passing cars. So if you want to drift away to the ocean, bring a sound machine. Another less than ideal feature are the narrow stairways. The hot tub is wonderful and actually hot! All in all, I would recommend it. Oh..and if you find yourself stuck in the bathroom on the middle floor, jostle the door to dislodge the lock. Save yourself the five minutes of panic I went through. Lol

The beach access was the best part of the stay. The house had taped up ceiling lights that were falling down. No working vacuum, only a broom. No extra bed linens, no bed bug protector on pillows or beds. No iron or ironing board, which made for crumpled clothes in family photos. Kitchen cooking items were put together from thrift stores it seemed. Mismatched cheap silverware, no real mixing bowl or spatulas, mismatched cookware, chipped bowls and plates. Only 3 garbage sacks and 2 kitchen towels, ran out of toilet paper as they only provided 2 rolls per bathroom for a week stay. Could be a good place if they cared about hospitality instead of stripping all amenities for more profit. Contacted vacasa and it was no response for hours called 3 times, tried their texting service- poor customer service.

The access to the beach was amazing. The house is spacious and comfortable but a bit run down. Lights falling from the ceiling and outdoor furniture was old and dirty. It’s a great location but hope the owners do some needed maintenance.

Beautiful view and super comfortable with lots of space throughout three levels. Well equipped with everything that we needed. Tons of parking.

From the wood pellet stove on the cold nights, to the private hot tub overlooking the beach on one side and the forested hills in the opposite direction, to the multiple floors with increasingly better ocean views, to the warm cozy feel, this beach house was in a perfect setting. There is a fire pit in the back yard which is literally a direct continuation of the beach with sand right up to the back porch. We roasted hot dogs and s’mores one night after soaking in the very clean hot tub. The house was clean and didn’t have a musty smell like many other homes we’ve stayed in on the coast. We would definitely stay here again without reservation.

House was well stocked with everything we needed, lots in the kitchen, extra bedding and beds were super comfy! We would stay there again!

Couldn’t beat the location and beach access/view. Beds were super comfy, with the exception of the futon on the bottom floor. No adult would be able to sleep on that comfortably. Also one roll of paper towels for a house that sleeps 10 was not enough. 10:00AM check out was also too early when check in isn't til 4:00PM. Loved the Hot Tub and fire pit area and the big dining room table was great for games! Would come back for sure!

This house was perfect for our nerdy gamers weekend. Plenty of room for 6 big guys and a large table for boardgames and rolling dice. Close to Rockaway Roastery too!

Stayed here with five friends for a girl's trip. The backyard views of the ocean are AMAZING. The house was clean, and the beds are SO comfy. Would definitely come back to stay again.

Perfect spot for a weekend get away with friend. Beach access directly in front of the house making walks easy. Hot tub was in good condition and clean. The mattresses could be updated but that’s our only complaint.

The directions to the rental were easy to follow. the rooms were comfortable and the beds were fantastic. The bathroom downstairs need a mirror, and the bedroom on the main floor doesn't have a dresser, and the blinds were missing most of the slats and the neighbors light was really bright, but the comfort of the bedding made up for it. The home is really well appointed and comfy...Be sure to bring access to your tv as not much was available..but being so close to the water, restaurants, and fun drives was perfection..we will definitely come again.

This is right on the beach. Kids can play in sand and you can see them from the HUGE windows. Views are amazing! Would definitely stay here again, thanks for the memories!

This home was the ideal setting for a week at the beach for me, my husband, our 2 adult kids, and their spouses. The 3 levels of the house gave each couple their privacy. Beach access was easy, and the views from the house were gorgeous. We loved the funky character of this house. Beds and other furniture were comfy, and the kitchen was well-equipped. We all agreed that it was a perfect vacation.

This place was so comfortable and felt like home from the moment we walked in the door. It was clean and so comfy, we absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back with our family. We rented this home so we had enough room for our oldest daughter and our two sisters and their significant others and it was just perfect! The ocean views from the house and beach access right off the back yard was amazing and so convenient. Thank you for having us, we had the time of our lives!

Lots of room. Best part location! So kids could play on sand right in front of Three big windows with a view. Easy access to beach. Beautiful sunsets and fire pit. Had a wonderful time!

This house is steps from the beautiful beach with a sandy front yard surrounded by tall bushes that make the yard feel very private and provide an excellent wind break. There are condos right next door but we barely saw or heard anyone else. My multigenerational family was very comfortable here and there was plenty of space for everyone. The kitchen is easy to cook in and the dining and living rooms are open and inviting. The bedrooms are on each floor and set back from the living space so they are relatively quiet and private. The hot tub was also a nice amenity on chilly evenings. We had a great time and Vacasa made our stay pleasant and hassle-free.

It was so easy to book this house with Vacasa. They communicate clearly. The house was perfect for our little family getaway.

This house has it all. From the moment you walk in and see that ocean through the big windows, you instantly feel relaxed. Kitchen is fully stocked. Beds are super comfy. Furniture is all brand new with plenty of seating throughout. The top level has 180 degree views of the ocean. Looks like they just installed a brand new hot tub as well that you can see the ocean from. Plenty of parking even for a boat or RV. Will definitely be coming back a few times a year!!!

We were looking for a property for my small family to enjoy for a long weekend to celebrate my birthday. Thrilled to get away from town and so pleasantly surprised with this property. Plenty of room for us to spread out and enjoy ourselves inside - but the true treasure was access to the beach! It was a perfect location for the adults to relax and play with my 3 year old son. Perfect little beach setting off the deck for all of the trucks and digging, and a short walk down to the public beach and ocean. We loved our stay. There were only 4 of us - but could have easily fit several more guests and still had plenty of space. This house is uniquely built for playing hide and seek! Fortunately my son gives up his hiding locations easily - but could make for some great family fun with older kiddos.

The separation of space was great for three families and kiddos. Access to the beach was phenomenal. We’ll definitely be back

This house was just what our family needed. Plenty of space, immediate easy access to the beach for everyone old and super young. We played, we laughed, we had a wonderful time. It is located directly next to VACASA condos but aside from when we pulled into the house we never even noticed it was there, so do not be discouraged. Rental/owner is so kind, helpful and thoughtful. Very prompt replies when I had 1 question. The views from the top deck were enough to revitalize the soul! Thank you!!!

The beach access and view is fabulous at this house! 10 of us enjoyed our stay there. The grandkids loved it with three levels in the house. The firepit was awesome along with the pathway to the beach! The lower level is definitely more kid friendly with the twin beds and small shower. Would be nice to have had a shower caddy in that bathroom. Overall, our stay was great!

We have stayed in the "luxury" condos next door three times but have serious issues with the cleanliness so we decided to give this spot a chance. And it was CLEAN! Its a bit cooky, but has tons of character. The king beds are SUPER comfortable. Great spot on the beach. The main living area is a bit small so though it sleeps 10 its only really comfortable for 6 or so in our opinion. We will definitely be renting it again!

The bedroom situation upstairs is limited in privacy. There is only a half bath upstairs. The musty smell downstairs is preferable to the severe febreeze scent sticks. That said, the location is great. we loved the firepit and the upstairs deck. The house was clean and well stocked with linens, towels, and cleaning supplies. Vacasa made the process in and out easy. small problem with ants

The house location was amazing. One big problem was at night Flying Beatles came out of cracks in the wall and from behind the tv. There were probably 40 bugs flying everywhere when the lights were turned on. We had to leave early. We couldn’t handle that many bugs inside the house. The night we got there they were bad but bearable. The next night it was unbelievable. We stayed outside as much as possible. It was beautiful out there but not what we planned. The house needs major updates to prevent the bugs from coming in through fixable cracks. I’m disappointed in that part but the beach was a good take away.
