The experience was easy pleasant and efficient fro check in to check out. The location is great for accessing coco beach as well as downtown, where you will find lots of shops restaurants and bars. If you chose to rent a car or a golf cart, then you can drive easily to the beach at octal which is quiet and scenic. The unit it self was spotless and comfortable with a/c throughout. The complex is beautiful and has six pools, all somewhat different from each other and guests can make use of them all. There is a perfectly appointed kitchen with everything you could need to prepare any meals if you chose to have a quiet night in. There was a small welcome basket with fruit and some snacks that was greatly appreciated. All of the appliances worked exactly as they should, and the furniture is comfortable. I highly recommend this unit to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient and memorable stay in coco.

The complex is beautiful and meticulously maintained, Residents and guests were friendly and pool was maintained superbly. I spoke in length to owner, several of these deficiencies have been noted in other reviews and changes have not been made. LIVING ROOM - [ ] Futons are miserably uncomfortable - [ ] Curtains are dirty and stained and don’t open or close with ease - [ ] Sliding doors do not easily lock/unlock - [ ] No screen door - [ ] Fan caked with dust KITCHEN - [ ] Knives so dull that could not slice an apple - [ ] Coffee maker needs replaced, parts missing, dirty and stained - [ ] Vent a hood and stove filthy - [ ] Sink that appears not to be scoured in years - [ ] 1 garbage bag (for a month?) - [ ] Refrigerator drawers missing and refrigerator and freezer rusted - [ ] No scissors? - [ ] Silverware unusable 6 not matching spoons, 4 forks with tines bent, and 8 knives several rusted. - [ ] Utensils non existent - [ ] No kitchen towels - [ ] Glasses were mismatched and looked dirty - [ ] Pots and pans from a distance looked gross - [ ] Decor is dusty and outdated. MASTER BEDROOM - [ ] Bed made without mattress cover, only poorly fitting sheets and comforter TOTALLY UNSANITARY and inexcusable - [ ] Mattresses need to be replaced - [ ] Television snowy picture - [ ] Curtains are dirty and stained - [ ] Drawers that don’t close - [ ] Lamp broken and dirty - [ ] Fan caked with dust BATHROOMS - [ ] Grout dirty and stained - [ ] Missing or broken TP holders - [ ] Mirrors that are hung too high - [ ] We were given 4 towels (for a unit for 6 people for a MONTH) that were stiff - [ ] No hand towels ANYWHERE - [ ] The stairs are DANGEROUS they desperately need a handrail - [ ] No key for the back door - [ ] Blinds need to be removed or thoroughly cleaned - [ ] Walls are dirty Entire unit needs to be painted to a more subtle color and all decor updated.

This is the perfect place to be in Coco. Very nice spot for a family. A few basic things were missing and the floor would have required extra care but overall I highly recommend it.

Beautiful property, safe and secure. Close to all amenities, steps to the pool, minutes to the beach and town. Bonus monkeys and iguanas right on the property.

Loved our stay at Coco Sunset, only once did I try to contact the property manager and had the wrong number and all ended ok. The unit is perfect for a family or couple, beds will soon need updating and kitchen is a little sparse but all in all great unit and we loved our stay.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at Coco Sunset in Las Palmas. The owner/host Mira was very accommodating and a pleasure to interact with via messages from the very start. She allowed us to drop off our bags and a few food items in the fridge prior to check in. The suite itself was cleaned very well by the housekeeping staff. It would be nice to have a few little extras included such as hand towels, kitchen cloths, pool towels, etc. Including kitchen items like saran wrap, foil, plastic storage bins would have been useful too. It seems the owner is truly dedicated to providing a quality guest experience. Timely replacement of patio chairs is imminent as these are a safety hazard. There were a couple of minor maintenance issues that were dealt with promptly by Luis the onsite caretaker for the suite. The Coco Sunset condo complex is a beautiful setting with lush mature trees and shrubs. The guests and other residents staying there were friendly and welcoming and that made our stay even more enjoyable. Pools at Coco Sunset are plentiful and cleaned daily. We could always find somewhere to sit or lay down too. During our week at Coco Sunset, we were only awoken once by the howler monkeys in the morning at around 5am. They go back to sleep and so did we. Otherwise the neighborhood is quiet at night. It's about a 5-7 minute walk to the square where you can get a cup of coffee, simple groceries or medical clinic for Covid test before travel... super convenient. It's located 10-15 walk to Av Central where you have everything at your disposal, shops, restaurants, groceries, beach, etc.
