Nice resort. Beautiful views. Staff friendly. Beds in condo were bad. Sliding door broken.

Beautiful views of the bay and lazy river. Close to a lot of attractions. Condo very well stocked with whatever you may need. Kids enjoyed fishing on the bay. Would definitely recommend and will return.

Condo was big and roomy. Was not clean, would consider getting a new cleaning company.

We had a wonderful girls’ trip and enjoyed the condo very much. The amenities were great and the location was very convenient. It was a walk to the beach but we enjoyed the lazy river so much that it was okay for us to spend more time at the pool. The beds were comfortable and the condo was spacious. It was very well stocked and we truly enjoyed our stay. The property manager was so helpful and accommodating. We will definitely consider staying here again if we end up back in the area.

We had an amazing stay!! The condo was clean and decorated so nicely. It was well stocked with linens, towels, and bath tissue. There was even large containers of washing detergent and dryer sheets(not sure if this was by the owner or previous guest.) The beds were very comfortable and so was the couch. The view of the bay and pool/lazy river was amazing. Jennie was so easy to reach and very tentative. There wasn't a single complaint from any of the 8 of us that stayed there. We will definitely be back!

Perfect place to spend a week at this place! Less traffic and not far from any places you want to go!

Everything was great! Beautiful Bay views, short walk to the beach, the lazy river right outside your condo, and a fully stocked condo. Couldn't of asked for more!

We had a great stay, over all the property is nice. Could use a deep clean, we had to sweep the floors when we arrived, other than that, no complaints!

Overall good experience. Not enough essentials in the property, so bring TP of staying more than 4 days with a group of people. Condo needs a deep clean, but overall tidy. Pool is amazing and we had a great time.

One of the nicest units we've stayed in at Destin West! It had everything we could need, plus more. Lovely decor, super clean, soft towels and lovely bedding. Absolutely perfect! We've already booked for next year! To the owner....Thank you for caring about the experience your guest have!

The property, while older, has a great pool and beach access. Also super close to a great public beach that we preferred to just drive to versus use the long bridge walk. We also loved the balcony. The condo is very spacious and well decorated, but I felt it could very much use a deep cleaning.

Spacious. Clean. Comfortable beds. Lots of towels. Enough kitchen equipment for light cooking (sandwiches, pizza, soup). Nice ocean view from large deck/balcony. Great elevator access-just steps away from the front door. Carts available to haul luggage and groceries from parking lot to rental.

Exactly what we were looking for.

This is a wonderful unit. Even though we stayed during one of the coldest holidays in 30 years, we had a wonderful time. All the conveniences of home and within a few minutes of restaurants, shopping and the beach. Very relaxing vacation.

We only had six of us staying at this unit and it was more than enough room! We were visiting with a nephew in the army so it was nice to be able to let him come swim in the nice lazy river with us. Would stay here again!

The condo was well maintained and as described on Vrbo. The owner was great and when we had a couple of questions she was quick to reply. The mattresses are starting to get a little worn, NOT dirty just a little worn. Of course rentals or hotels never compare to your mattress at home! The lazy river, pools and hot tubs were all nice but the maintenance man who was trying to keep it all clean was obviously overwhelmed and we constantly had to brush off the debris when leaving the oasis area. The beaches were super clean. We stayed in mid-September.

Overall it was good. Needs a deep clean

This property was exactly what I anticipated if not better. There was enough room for our family and the couch bed that opened to the couch on the side was perfect for my kids that move in their sleep. The property owner was very easy to talk to and even answered all of my questions months before our stay. The lip to the door to the balcony is scary but once you know its there it is easy to watch out for. I would stay in this condo again.

We have been to Destin West resort numerous times but this is our first time staying at this condo. Had extended family and needed a larger condo and we couldn’t have been any happier with our stay- 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, laundry room, large extended balcony and all the extra amenities. There are detailed instructions on check-in and check-out procedures and the owner is only a text away and quickly responds. This condo is beautiful, clean and spacious! We would not hesitate to come back, highly recommended!!

The condo was just as described, except it has a brand new beautiful sofa! Condo is beautifully decorated. It was quiet with a wonderful view of Bay and pool. The master bedroom mattress is soft and the mattress in the front bedroom is firm, so you should find one that suits your taste. The twin beds were comfy, too. Check-in was easy. It was ready right at 4pm, as stated. I never received an email 24hrs before check-in, so I had to text for the door code, but owner was very quick to respond. Please note this condo does not come with beach chairs or an umbrella, unlike the majority of condos we’ve rented, so you may want to bring your own or consider renting chairs/umbrella at the beach…$40/day. It does come with a wagon to tote your stuff to the beach. It’s not a beach wagon, but more of a ball field wagon, but it was helpful on our walks to the beach. Also note that no starter toiletries are included either, so make sure to bring your own. A small supply of Kitchen hand soap, dish detergent, and laundry detergent are provided for you. The kitchen is fully stocked with enough plates, cups, cookware, and utensils. The owner even provides plenty of Kcups for coffee. The table on the balcony is due to be replaced soon, but it didn’t hinder our stay in any way. We used it daily. The pools and lazy River need to be cleaned of debris throughout the day, because they would get very dirty by mid-afternoon, but this is of no fault or responsibility of the owner. This is a Destin West management issue. Overall, we had a wonderful family vacation and will rent again.

This is our 2nd time to stay in this condo in the last year. The condo is well equipped and has a wonderful view of the Bay and Lazy River. We love eating next door at Ricks on the bay . We also walked next door and rented boat for the day. It was a great vacation !!!!

We arrived at the condo and my initial reaction was that the condo was well decorated and then I started unpacking and realized the property had not been thoroughly cleaned. The floors have not been vacuumed or mopped in who knows when (tumble weeds if dust and hair and spills), there was toothpaste and hair in sinks, food debris in sink and refrigerator, urine on toilet seat, the linens on one bed were wet. I texted the owner and she quickly replied that the housekeeper could come back, I stripped the bed and put in dryer and left the condo to give the housekeeper time to clean. She tried to tell me she had done it to begin with but unfortunately she did not. I returned after she was done and the property still was not clean. I recleaned all the bathrooms myself, cleaned the kitchen and mopped. I did not recontact the owner because at that point it was easier to do myself. The interiors were done at one time very cute and nice although the sofa in the den was so dirty that I put a towel down to sit on it. I never leave a bad review but the only way to fix this rental is new housekeeping service and a deep clean. I will say the owner was very nice and responsive and I’m sure she will remedy this for future renters.

Truly enjoyed the home feeling of this beautiful place. Master bedroom is incredibly large and very tastefully decorated as was the entire suite. The views from both the living area and master bedroom are spectacular. Listing is accurately represented. Jennie was more than helpful and answered any questions I had very promptly. Also took advantage of going down to Rick's just a few steps away from there for stay-in dinner. And making it home with laundry done was bonus! Hope to return again soon :)

Our family had a wonderful experience!! A little hiccup with getting door codes but property manager was extremely prompt and helpful getting information to us! Great communication!! Condo had everything you could need! Exactly as described, absolutely beautiful decor! Clean with more than usual starter supplies. Plenty of room for our family to spread out! Lovely time! Would love to return!
