The house was very clean. We really liked the layout…and the small touches made our stay that much better. For instance, whole bean coffee with grinder ready for us/guests. Record player with some great vinyl selections. Fire place outside. Nice fenced backyard. Decor was spot on and charming. Beds pretty comfortable. Location was a bit out but a golf cart was available. And Jack and Lindi are great hosts. Quick to respond. Personable and cared about our stay. Highly recommend. One of the best VRBO stays we’ve had in Beaufort…or anywhere for that matter. Thanks Jack and Lindi! (and no I’m not related to them in any manner - lol - just my honest review and I rarely take the time to do it but felt it was warranted).

Calm Tide was the perfect Thanksgiving getaway for our blended family. The property is perfectly nestled near downtown just off Front Street. We enjoyed cooking oysters and sitting by the fire pit at night and boating and shopping during the day. There was plenty of room for game night but also plenty of spaces to relax and enjoy a moment to yourself. Jack and Lindi exceptional hosts, super attentive before, during, and after our stay. We are already planning our next trip to Calm Tide.

Four of us stayed three night at Jack and Lindi’s beautiful home in Beaufort. Located on a quiet residential street and within walking distance to waterfront, shopping and restaurants. Having use of the golf cart was awesome. They have thought of everything you could need in the home and literally we just brought clothes and food/drinks. Plenty of space of space. Backyard is well done also with fire pit and everything provided to use if you desire on cool nights. Jack and Lindi communicated prior to our stay and quick to answer any questions. I had a minor issue which was my fault and they were such gracious hosts. I hope to stay at their home again and highly recommend for anyone looking for a stay in Beaufort

Wonderful visit to Beaufort with family. The house was stellar, everything we could ask for. Wonderful deck area, charming decor. Enjoyed the turntable with some classic vinyl. Easy walk to restaurants and the waterfront, and kayaks to explore Carrot Island. Thank you to Jack and Lindi for a great trip.

The home is well equipped for a fun vacation. We enjoyed the quiet location and lovely outdoor amenities - morning coffee on front porch swing and dinner in beautiful tree covered backyard. The golf cart made the trips for ice cream to the quant town easily assessable.

This was our first time staying at Calm Tide, and it did not disappoint. Home and amenities are so well thought out, with an organic option for everything from hand soap to laundry detergent. We immediately felt at home! Outdoor shower was enjoyed by my son's every day! Home is in a perfect location, within walking distance of everything in historic Beaufort, friendly neighbors and porch swing to enjoy your morning coffee. Hosts were amazing and beyond accommodating , best stay ever. We will be back!!

First time staying at Calm Tide and WOW it was perfect. Had a 2yr old with us and the back yard was a great place for her to work off some energy. The house and outdoor shower (love love love) were great. Will be back for sure!

The house was exactly as listed, and the owners were extremely easy and generous to deal with. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

This location was perfect for our recent vacation for us & our two young children with lots of great amenities, close to downtown, access to paddling and an easy drive to nearby beaches. Inside, the living space was neat, clean and well thought out. The two bedrooms were spacious for us and the kids and the pull out futon (and bonus ADU in the back) also would give lots of options for a bigger group to stay. We especially loved the outdoor shower which allowed us to clean up easily after outdoor adventures on the water. The location was about perfect, it was under a mile to walk to the Beaufort waterfront for dining, half a mile to a public launch for kayaking or paddle boarding, and less than a 10 minute drive to Radio Island for the beach. The neighborhood was charming with lots of friendly neighbors. The owners were super duper, extremely communicative and very accommodating. They checked in with us right after booking, ahead of our arrival, and a few times during our stay - not in an obtrusive way - but rather to see if there were any needs they could help with. For sure we will be back and could not have asked for a better place to stay!

We cannot say enough good things about our stay. We have stayed in Beaufort many times, and this was our favorite stay. The backyard was perfect for grilling out, and they were so generous to provide kayaks and paddle boards. The house is perfect, great location to water and front street, will definitely stay again!

The hosts were absolutely wonderful. They were always available to answer any questions we had and gave us great suggestions on spots to eat and hangout. The house was perfect and felt like home. We will definitely be visiting again!

Calm Tide in Beaufort NC is a beautiful cottage within walking distance to Front Street where there are great restaurants, shopping, and beautiful water views. We went for a long birthday weekend and it was a great time. The owners were great. Available whenever I had a question. If we ever get back to Beaufort we will be sure to rent Calm Tide again!

We absolutely loved our stay in Beaufort! The house was beautiful and very clean. It is conveniently located near the waterfront and an adorable local park that our kids loved. Jack and Lindi were so helpful and they made the check-in and check-out processes very easy. They have thought of everything and have the house well stocked. We can’t wait to visit again!

My wife and I took a long weekend getaway to Beaufort, and this house worked out perfectly. Very convenient to great restaurants and the water, and the owners go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need and then some! We kayaked one day, went to Atlantic Beach / Fort Macon one day, and took the ferry to Shackleford Banks where we had a great time collecting some large shells and seeing the wild horses. This was our first visit to Beaufort and definitely won’t be our last!

Loved it, especially the property owner! He was very helpful, reached out and was great to work with. Had a small problem that could have waited, but he came over the next day to fix. He and his wife gave us recommendations on restaurants, beaches, golf courses, whatever we needed. RECOMMEND THIS HOME TO EVERYONE!

The house was clean, quiet, and close to downtown. It was well-equipped with everything we needed, including kayaks and bikes. Jack and Lindi were so friendly, and very responsive hosts. All of the restaurants we ate at in downtown Beaufort were great!

What a lovely place for a reunion of three sisters, one from PA and two from NC. Calm Tide is located less than a mile from Taylor Creek and many nice shops and restaurants and the house and yard are perfect. The Beaufort area is fascinating! We were so happy there for our three night stay….hope to return in the near future. VRBO is fortunate to have this listing !
