Great location to enjoy Solana Beach. House was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Host was a pleasure to work with and made us feel welcome.

Perfect location for vising with daughter who lives in Cardiff-by-the-Sea. Beautiful beaches and central to all our sightseeing. Clean and comfortable. Our "go to" vrbo location for future visits to San Diego.

Location is great at Solana beach. The property is across the street from the other building which has access to the beach. The property doesn't have AC (which we missed from the description). It has a portable AC unit which works for one of the bedrooms upstairs. We did feel that having other AC units or even ceiling fans was needed (they have some small fans). The unit is remodeled and the furniture was new which was really nice.

Excellent stay. Well kept property at Del Mar Beach Club.

After some confusion with getting through the gates we were happily greeted with a beautiful condo in a very safe gated community across the street from the beach. The private beach access was a big perk to us as the beach there was less crowded. We had local family visit us there and they were all amazed at how clean the beach was, the private bathrooms and the safety of the area. We enjoyed staying in a residential area and the gated features (sometimes malfunctioned) helped us feel very safe with our 4 small children. They even had a few air mattresses for additional sleeping options if needed. The laundry facilities in the lower bathroom were also a huge perk! The only down side was the lack of air conditioning. The weather was perfect for me being so close to the ocean but a little warm for my husband. The fans were helpful but AC would be exceptional. As for the confusion at check in- the property manager compensated us with a gift card which was above and beyond our expectations. We would love the chance to stay at this property again.

This was a great property, very nicely appointed. The only negative is lack of central air conditioning. Even though it is close to the beach and the nice ocean breezes, it could get a bit warm. But everything else was great, would stay again and recommend to others.

I would highly recommend this property. It was clean, well maintained and nicely decorated. The owner was extremely helpful. The unit is a short walk (few minutes) to the beautiful beach. We were lucky to see dolphins swimming one day! Beautiful area and about a half hour from San Diego. We enjoyed visiting the nearby coastal towns. So many things to do; wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Extra welcoming and accommodating hosts, you can’t go wrong! The spot is excellent for access to the beach: we surfed, played pétanque, swam, ran and enjoyed everything Del Mar has to offer. Conveniently located to groceries, etc. as well. Clean and lovely. Highly recommend
