Headed to McCall for 5 days after visiting a friend in Boise. The property was perfect for us. Close to town and very clean and had everything we needed to bbq a few meals. Thanks for the wonderful visit. 😎

Property was exactly as listed. Very clean and they thought of everything you could need in the kitchen and bathroom. Private backyard with a nice hot tub to relax in. Beds were comfortable. Close to downtown and lake. We will definitely stay ahain.

This place is really nice. Only my wife and I stayed here but it's big enough for 4 people. It was maybe the most well-stocked and equipped condo/house in which we've stayed.
Just one thing to keep in mind. No places in McCall have air conditioning, this place included. Maybe hotel rooms have it, not sure. It was just over 90 degrees during the day, the first 2 days of our stay. I have allergies so I can't open windows and the place was really hot when trying to get to sleep. I'm sure that this isn't an issue with most people but if you're coming here during a heat wave it might be something to keep in mind.

Condo was in a great, quiet location. Loved the hot tub! Clean and comfortable. This was the best stocked kitchen in any condo I've ever stayed in! Only criticism was the internet connection and difficulty streaming movies. It was a snowy cold weekend, so we were looking forward to some binge movie watching. Very interrupted service and unresponsive at times. Had VHS and DVDs for back up, though. Overall, great stay.

McCall Outfitters was great to work with. When we didn't get the e-contract and access instructions through VRBO, Matt was very prompt and responsive. Great linens on beds and in bathrooms. Easy access to downtown, Brundage, the lake and more.

Although the place is slightly dated, it was perfect for our stay. Conveniently located close to town and to Brundage, fully stocked for all our needs and we even saw several deer passing by the property. The memory foam beds are also super comfortable. The only negative was the jacuzzi was overloaded with Bromine so the chemical smell was hard to handle, but we would definitely stay here again.

Snowmobiling and sledding! A nice hot soak in the hot tub in the evening. Will definitely be back. The unit was perfect for our group! Kitchen well equipped for making meals. Love the extra touches in the bathroom-

Another wonderful and comfortable stay in McCall at "Better Than Home". I've lost count of how many times I have stayed in this condo. Consistency is the key word...always very clean, neighborhood is quiet, condo is well-stocked and the furnishings are comfortable. Making reservations through Matt at McCall Outfitter is easy...I find no reason to stay anywhere else!

Extremely clean, location great, setting with woods behind was beautiful and the kitchen was overall the over-the-top w/pots, pans, dishes, silverware and utensils, not to mention small appliances such as Kitchen Aid mixers, crock pots and blenders. Then not only that, but the upper cabinet next to the stove filled with spices, pancake mix and syrup, oils etc. The 4 of us seniors had a wonderful, relaxing time and definitely will come back.

Really enjoyed our McCall getaway. The unit is in a quiet back corner making for a secluded setting. Everything from check-in to checkout is hassle free. The Condo was very clean with all the amenities one could possibly need. The spa was dialed in and proved to be the perfect way to unwind and enjoy the serenity of this hideaway. Thank you for sharing this getaway as we will definitely be returning.

This was our first time in Idaho. We came to celebrate our son’s birthday as he had been working out here. The condo had everything we needed, it was clean as a whistle and in a great centrally located spot. We loved the walk to town via the bike path, the hot tub and the quiet surrounds, great stay, thank you!

We rented this for my birthday weekend with another couple to go kayaking on the lake. It is cute, beds are comfortable, quiet and in an out the way area. The condo backs up against the forest and you are near a nature pathway (11 minute walk to the lake). Mule deer came and hung out and was just really relaxing. We will rent this again. Only this I didn't pay attention to on the description, that is doesn't have AC, but luckily, it had cooled off with the storm, that it wasn't a problem.

I rated our stay as Good and not Excellant because no one from McCall Outfitters ever contacted us during our stay or returned emails prior to our stay. When I emailed our change of plans for the dates no one responded. I finally called about a month before our dates. No one contacted us when we were at the condo so I left the check on the table. Luckily, the condo was clean and we did not have any problems.

The locations was perfect! You felt his away in the woods but were right in the heart of McCall and just minutes from all the great eateries. Only blocks from the grocery store the kitchen was fully stocked so you could enjoy a quiet evening in. The beds were comfortable and it was great having 2 bathrooms. I highly recommend “Better Than Home” as a great getaway in the beautiful town of McCall!

Our Better than Home in McCall really was a perfect home away from home. It was a quiet area, where we enjoyed a little bit of seclusion, while sitting on the back patio or in the hot tub. We loved having visits by deer every day. It's close to town but not too close, because we still felt secluded. And everything was so clean and nice - the home is very well taken care of. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you!

The house has a great floor plan and is VERY sufficiently stocked! All needed Food Prep tools and utensils were there including many that most hosts don't think about....
The host was very responsive. The place is VERY close to the town and close to many great parks/hikes (paved bike/walking path about 100' behind prperty)

I have stayed in this townhouse many times at different seasons over the years, and each time I walk through the door it really does feel like home. The amenities are thoughtful, and it's very clean and well-maintained. The location is ideal as well, and the area is peacefully quiet. A big thumbs up to the owners and the management for keeping things updated.
