We rented the Blue Marlin for a family reunion/vacation and it was great. We cooked most of our meals at the house and found the kitchen to be very well furnished. There were lots of beach chairs, umbrellas and toys for our use. The bathrooms were all clean and beds were very comfortable. The A/C worked excellent and kept us nice and cool. And, most importantly, Kevin was very responsive with all questions we sent his way. Would definitely recommend staying at the Blue Marlin!

This house is amazing! The view is just as wonderful! Kevin is a amazing person to deal with, he has everything you can possibly think of in the house. This is by far the best house i have stayed in!

This property is so luxurious! High end appliances and furniture. So well appointed. Everything you need, and more, is supplied. Even things you didnt know you would need, they thought of it. We had 28 people at one time and never felt like we were on top of each other. Plenty of room for our vehicles, ATVs, and trailors. We couldnt have asked for a better location on the beach. And dont even get me started on Kevin...he's the best! When we couldnt figure out how to work a smart appliance, he returned our call immediately. Thanks Kevin!

Very spacious , all the amenities were as represented , beach less crowded with private access , well decorated with a homey coastal atmosphere and the owner Kevin was a great host . Defiantly recommend this property and look forward to our next visit to the Peninsula again in the future. THANKS again Kevin 🙏

House was better in person than the pictures showed. Awesome is the best way to describe our stay. Host has very clear instructions and answered all text and phone calls. I held my daughter’s wedding and reception at the house, oh my, it was such a beautiful location. The fact that the house offered tables and chairs, as well to rent directly from them was an extra plus. If you’re looking for a place for you family and/or friends to gather and enjoy the beach in a beautiful house, this is the place to rent. Pros: Beds extremely comfortable Extra towels for showering and the beach Tons of beach toys/chairs Fully stocked kitchen Deposit refunded in a timely fashion Excellent communication/quick responses Easy check-in Cons -only con if any would be the check-out procedures -all towels have to be washed and fully dried before you leave (I understand why) but if you want to take a quick dip in the beach before you leave/ it’s something you keep in mind Saying this, I would definitely reserve at this location again and highly recommend for others to reserve at the BlueMarlin!

From day 1 of booking, Kevin communicated and was so helpful with making sure we would have everything we need for our wedding. Our family stayed there with us and all of our friends came. EVERYONE was beyond impressed with the house and everything about it. We are already talking about wanting to come back. We had something that needed fixed and Kevin was there immediately and had it fixed. We couldn't have found a better place to celebrate ❤ Book this beach house. You will not be disappointed!!!

We had a wonderful time celebrating my Dad’s 96 birthday. We had all different age ranges from15 months to 96 and everyone had a great time. The accessibility to the beach was perfect. All the preteens and teens were at the beach almost before we could unpack. The adults could see the kids from the deck and meanwhile enjoyed a fantastic view of various boat coming into and out of Galveston. I would highly recommend staying here and I am already thinking about next year.

The blue marlin was absolutely beautiful! It was the perfect place for our family reunion. It is relaxing, peaceful, beautiful scenery and a great place to be with the people you love! The owner Kevin was great with communication! Whenever we needed anything he took care of it and responds quickly!

The Blue Marlin is by far the best home I have rented hands down! Kevin was excellent on providing me with information about the home. This home has everything you need. The living room is excellent for large group gatherings. The bedrooms are so spacious and each has a bathroom in it which came in handy with the large group we had. The bottom is huge to entertain and not to mention a parking lot that accommodates at least 25 cars. This house has empty properties on both sides and no close neighbors which is great especially if you are entertaining down stairs at night. I highly recommend this home for large group gatherings. We stayed at the Blue Marlin to celebrate my dad’s 90th birthday and even though it rained almost the entire weekend, we had an outstanding time. The house is exactly as described with everything you need to entertain a large group. I was so impressed with the quality of the kitchen and baths. Once it quit raining, we realized there was a gorgeous view and the placement on the beach is perfect. I highly recommend Blue Marlin.

Our church ladies held our Annual Ladies Beach Retreat October 6-8. There was 25 of us and the cabin accommodations were great for our group. We enjoyed the beach front and sitting on the deck plus the short walk to the beach. The downstairs loft worked out great for the younger late nighters who stayed up and laughed half the night and later slept in the mornings Kevin (our host) was awesome. He kept in contact with us making sure we had all we needed. The lift was definitely a back saver and much appreciated. Our only extra need was for a second refrigerator for all the food that needed refrigeration. Other than that this was a perfect cabin.

Love, love, loved our time at Crystal Beach! The Blue Marlin was the perfect house for our large group. The large kitchen/living area was great. We had one afternoon/evening of rain and we were able to gather comfortably inside (we had 20 in our group). Easy access to the beach. Made for a great Labor Day weekend!

The home was amazing. Great views of the ocean from the house. Very spacious and loved the labeling system that Kevin has in place, very helpful. Would totally stay again!

This house is awesome. Kevin was wonderful and answered all of our questions. The few issues that came up he was easy to get a hold of and did everything he could to make things right. Each bedroom has its own bathroom which is amazing even the kids bedroom. He went above and beyond in supplying amenities for renters . Definitely a repeat house . We absolutely loved everything about our weekend stay! The home is beautifully decorated, very clean, nice and cool, and the perfect size for our large family.
