Clean and comfy. Perfect location. Great view and close to the sights.

I cannot recommend this property. My recent stay was far below expectations and left much to be desired. Here are the main issues I encountered: 1. Cleanliness: The property was in a state of neglect. Cobwebs were visible in multiple areas, indicating a lack of thorough cleaning. 2. Pillows: The pillows were a major issue. Not only did they have an unpleasant smell, raising concerns about hygiene, but they were also extremely uncomfortable. The discomfort significantly impacted sleep quality and added to the overall poor experience. 3. Dust: There was a noticeable layer of dust throughout the property, suggesting inadequate cleaning between guests. 4. Bed Quality: The beds were in poor condition, sinking in significantly even for an average-weight person. This, combined with the uncomfortable pillows, led to restless nights and potential back discomfort. 5. Insufficient Amenities: There was a lack of towels provided, which is a basic necessity for any accommodation. This oversight added inconvenience to our stay. The only positive aspect of this stay was the location, which was convenient. However, this single factor is not enough to outweigh the numerous problems with the property itself. Overall, the lack of attention to cleanliness, maintenance, basic amenities, and guest comfort severely impacted the quality of my stay. While the location is good, I would strongly advise potential renters to look elsewhere for a more comfortable,

Very comfortable

If you plan to spend most of your time in Salem, this is an amazing place to stay! After arriving, we didn't use our car for the first 3 days because we were so close to downtown. The only issue we had was with some inconsiderate "neighbors" in the unit above us who enjoyed yelling and slamming doors while using our shared entrance late at night. If you are a light sleeper I don't suggest staying in the bedroom downstairs for this reason. On the positive side, the neighborhood is very quiet and so were the second group of people who stayed upstairs. I would definitely stay here again.

The location is across the street from the harbor in Salem. It was such a pleasure to see water and boats every time you stepped out of the door. It is just a short walk to Essex Street which is where most of the shopping is. There are great restaurants and coffee cafes across the street from the property. Easy access to everything. The property was spacious and immaculate. I brought my own sheets and towels because I wasn’t sure what I was walking into but I did not need them. Everything was spotless.

We enjoyed our stay very much. This home was in the ideal location for all of the areas we wanted to visit. 30 minute drive to all of our destinations. We were able to walk to ALL in Salem. Off street parking was much appreciated. The house was extremely clean. Plenty of space for our family of 4. I loved the privacy of the lower level area, complete with separate bathroom and walk in closet! Stocked with lots of towels, toiletry items and kitchen supplies. Beautiful view across the street. Salem is such a walkable town and this townhouse was in the perfect location! We walked around town, around the wharf, and even to the train station where we hopped on board and spent a day in Boston. Close to dining, shopping, site-seeing, etc. Our family of 5 had plenty of room to spread out and the extra living area was a bonus. Only suggestion would be to add a few more coffee mugs and basic utensils such as spatulas and maybe an ice cream scoop.

Beautiful property located very close to everything Salem has to offer. We loved our visit.
