This is our second time staying at this location for our family beach vacation! We look forward to the next time. Homeowner was quickly responsive if we had a question. Short walk to the beach. Great places to sit outside and enjoy the quiet evenings and a perfect spot for my fisherman on the inner coastal water! Looking forward to next time!!

Awesome place with a nice dock for boat. Would like to see a cleaning table for fish and a downstairs half bath but that’s just nit picking. Other than that we would definitely stay again.

We were thrilled from the moment we booked, but when we arrived we were spectacularly amazed at the cleanliness, decor, location, and so much more. We felt welcomed right at the opening of the front door. The communication with the owners was fantastic and made the trip much more enjoyable. We come to the area every year and get a different place but this was my far the BEST place we’ve stayed. This was truly a vacation made to remember and the home and amenities added to our relaxation.

We wthoroughly enjoyed our stay in Holden Beach this week. Our daughter didn’t want to go home! The house was beautiful and we had no trouble at all getting our boat in the canal even with low tide. The owners are very responsive and have everything you need already at the house! Definitely a plus to be able to do laundry during a week long stay. Gorgeous views and we hope to be back again. Thank you for the hospitality!

Hooked on a Feelin' and coming back for sure!!! This freshly-remodeled beach home is more spacious than it seems on paper. Especially because the gorgeous landscaped backyard is huge with lots of grass area leading up to the large patio overlooking the canal.
My wife and I stayed here with our four kids, and even had our newly-married daughter and her husband join us for two nights and not once did we feel cramped. We also hosted a dinner one night with other family, that also rented homes at Holden within the same exact week. Our guests' sentiments about this property were just as ours was- everyone loved it!!!
The hosts are fantastic and stay in communication with you not just the entire time while you're enjoying your stay (if needed), but also even leading up to it for helping you prepare. You will NOT be disappointed in all facets of this beach home!

First time visiting Holden Beach. Enjoyed the stay. Nice house with a good dock for your boat!
Upon arrival noticed trash bin was not put out Saturday morning and was 3/4 full.
This has nothing to do with your listing however, the town of Holden for some odd reason decided to redo the closest boardwalk public beach access without any notice whatsoever. Wednesday morning loaded down with all our beach items we walked down to the access we had been using and it was taped off. Not sure why since we had been using it and there were no visible issues noticed. Interesting timing in middle of peak season making it inconvenient for anyone in the area that was accessing that boardwalk.
Would stay there again if we return to Holden Beach sometime.

We couldn’t have loved this adorable house more! Extremely clean and well decorated. Everything you could possibly need to enjoy family time. Games, outdoor shower, amazing porches both upstairs/downstairs, and a backyard we enjoyed playing cornhole in while watching the boats go by in the waterway. Diagonally across the street one block from
Beach access was super convenient. The Bovees were incredible hosts and this will definitely be a repeat for our family of four to stay at again. Only one bathroom (but a large one), and with our teenage boys, they preferred using the outdoor shower so it wasn’t at all an issue. Highly recommend.

From the checkin process to the time we left our beach getaway was excellent. Steven was prompt with sending information on how to check in and he also made sure we were able to get in house at arrival. The house was very clean and kichen was perfectly stocked with appliances, pots n pans, utensils, etc. The beds were comfortable. We especially enjoyed the laundry shoot. Outside, there was multiple places to sit and relax. We loved sitting at the table by the dock. We will definitely be back! Thank you for being excellent hosts!!

Everything about our stay was better than great! Short walk to a public beach entrance. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen space was plenty big and was open to the living room. Seating outside was perfect. Outdoor shower was exactly what was needed after the beach. Only minor “1st world inconvenience,” only one bathroom. The Bovee’s were amazing hosts even provided multiple restaurant options. We are hooked on a feelin’!

My fiancé and I had a wonderful weekend away at Holden Beach. We explored both ends of the island, rented bikes and even found some sea biscuits! The rental property was updated and extremely clean. We would absolutely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hooked on a Feelin’, it is such a beautiful; clean house. We loved sitting on the front porch to watch the sunset and sitting on the dock to fish. We hope to be able to return next year!

The house is amazing. The outdoor features are just as nice as the indoor features. The canal access in the backyard is ideal for a boater. We rented kayaks from Boomers and enjoyed ourselves. The house is a short walk to the beach. The furnishings are beautiful and everything is tasteful, no “beach overkill”. The hosts were great answering questions and even offered us an early check in, but sadly we were stuck in traffic. This was our first time in Holden, and we will return, and hopefully we can rent this wonderful,property again.

The Bovee’s were great to work with! The check in/check out process was easy. They checked on us to make sure we arrived without issues and throughout the week. The home was just as expected from the listing if not better and Holden beach is a perfect area to vacation. I can’t say enough about how great everything was!

Really cute, clean property with many of the household items you will need for an enjoyable longer stay at the beach. The property is well maintained and sits on a nice location 1 block off the beach and a couple blocks from public beach access. Full size kitchen meets all your needs and i suggest you come stocked with groceries. Nice outdoor area for grilling and relaxing near the canal. If you are looking for a relaxing beach focused stay away from the heavy commercial retail at most beaches you should consider. Do bring some of your own entertainment because the island is a little limited

Spectacular Property
We had a wonderful stay at Hooked on a Feelin’. It was spotlessly clean, had a very well stocked kitchen, efficient & easy to use appliances, comfortable beds & couches, all with a beautiful beach themed decor. On top of all that, the outdoor space was awesome! Lots of seating areas with the most comfortable furniture and a great outdoor shower. We played corn hole, watched the activity on the canal, & ate dinner in the back; enjoyed morning coffee & sunsets in the front. Short walk to the beach. The photos are an accurate representation of this great property.

Beautiful and clean
Beautifully renovated home and the cleanest we've stayed in. View of the sunset over the marsh in the front of the house. No recycling at the home though, we had to take it to the convenience center off the island. Otherwise 10/10.

Absolutely lovely
We had the best time at your beautiful home. The pictures are great but do not do the house justice. Everything is updated inside and out. So many outside sitting areas! It is only a one bath house but with the outside shower it was more like a two bath house, although, I absolutely loved the inside shower. It was fabulous. The beds were comfy, house was spotless, laundry room a huge plus when on vacation. We brought our boat and throughly enjoyed the dock and floating around the ICW. The guys caught so many sharks out there. 😳. I know there are sharks out there just didn’t realize how many. Lol. This is one of the best vacation houses we have stayed in. Thanks for allowing us the use of your home.

Great canal home
Our family had a great time this past week. The house is nicely updated and very clean. We enjoyed the outdoor living space and watching fireworks on the front porch overlooking the marsh. Highly recommend staying here.

We loved our stay and will definitely be back. The house is beautiful. I loved the decor. The kitchen has everything you need and more. The bedding is high quality. You have so many sitting areas outside. The area was nice and quiet with great views of the canal and wetlands. The sound of the ocean was so soothing sitting on the front porch. The owners thought of everything you need and used the best quality. They where always quick to answer any questions I had. We can’t wait to go back again.

Beautiful modern home by the ocean
We had a wonderful time celebrating a friend’s birthday at Hooked on a Feelin’. The home is tastefully decorated, modern, very clean, well stocked, and in an amazing location. We took advantage of the peaceful canal views from the deck and the 5 minute walk to public beach access. We highly recommend a stay in this home.

Amazing Stay
This house was absolutely wonderful. It was immaculately clean, very well-equipped, and nicely decorated. There are a lot of great sitting areas both indoors and out, which makes the space seem very large. The house sits between a marsh and a canal, which gives it great views out both the front and back. It really felt like we were staying at a friend's house rather than a rental. 100% would recommend - we will return.

Fantastic house
We loved this place. You can tell it's newly renovated and the owners thought of everything. The house is beautifully done. The kitchen is well stocked with anything you could possibly need. The view off the back deck over looking the canal is beautiful. There are fantastic views of the marsh on the front porch and the beach is less than a 5 minute walk. The owners were very quick to respond to any questions we had. We will definitely come back and stay longer next time.
