This cottage was exactly what I expected and needed. Spent two nights here and the host was very responsive and helpful. I arrived at midnight, and she was proactive and kind enough to make my check-in very smooth. Upon entering the front door, I was greeted with clear instructions on the table along with a bowl of healthy snacks – which felt like home right away. I worked during the day jumping on zoom call, and the wi-fi signal was weak at times, but completely tolerable. I would stay here, again!

Spotlessly clean! This is a beautiful hide-away located within walking distance of grocery stores, shops , and restaurants.
Lots of attention to detail to provide for a very comfortable and pleasant stay.

Our stay was wonderful! The cottage was clean and efficiently outfitted with everything that met our needs. This is a great place to stay for 2 people. I would suggest a hand rail in the bath/shower and a bath mat in the tub. I had trouble with the lock box for the key but those things do not affect the 5 star rating! I hope to return!

Hidden down a cobble stone alley, we found a gem of a cottage with a pistachio door. Spotless, cozy, convenient…we can hardly wait to return!

This little cottage is lovely. It is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by beautiful landscaping. Inside, the home is comfortable and cozy. It was an easy walk to everything you'd need and a good five mile round trip walk to...and around...the Lafayette Reservoir for exercise!

I had planned to do some BART hopping but found myself happy and content without a need to be busy. Local boutiques and restaurants as well as Trader Joe’s offer all you need. I didn’t think the little back patio belonged to guests, but it is, and I loved it! Elly maintains a pristine home that is utterly charming.

This is a darling one bedroom cottage that is walking distance to Trader Joes and the main part of downtown Lafayette.
We were here for our high school reunion and this worked out perfectly for us.
We highly recommend this home.

Our little get away home, which we got to be close to family members whom we were visiting, far exceeded our expectations. The house was adorable and the supplies were just an added plus.
