We had a wonderful first-time visit to Alaska thanks to this vrbo property and host! The location is absolutely perfect — an easy drive from the airport and easy 20 minutes to downtown Anchorage for all the restaurants. You’re close enough to everything while enjoying gorgeous views in the quieter Bear Valley neighborhood. And while every spot provides an incredible view, our favorite was out the kitchen sink window! The house provided ample space for my husband and I plus my parents. We especially enjoyed taking advantage of the kitchen for breakfast at the house. Elena was wonderful to work with. We rented her vehicle, and she was able to accommodate our late departure time with a later checkout. All my random questions were answered in a breeze. We hope to return and will definitely look to this property again. Highly recommend for your adventures in and around Anchorage!

We’ve stayed at several vacation rentals and this was by far our best experience! Having lived in the Anchorage area years ago, we knew the high hillside location would be outstanding for its convenient, yet quiet location and view overlooking Anchorage, Cook Inlet and the mountains beyond. But it was even better than we could have ever dreamed. The house itself was EXTREMELY clean and the furnishings were all current and very comfortable for our family of six, which included teens and their parents and grandparents. We loved the wide-open spaciousness of the main floor and the kitchen was equipped with very modern appliances. As host, Elena was beyond accommodating and absolutely great to deal with. All this made our wonderful Alaska vacation perfect!

My stay at the Anchorage property was absolutely incredible! I couldn't have asked for a better vacation rental. Firstly, the cleanliness and spaciousness of the place were impeccable. Being just outside of Anchorage provided the perfect balance between seclusion and convenience. I truly felt like I had my own little haven, away from the world. The tranquility and serenity that surrounded the property were unmatched, allowing me to fully unwind and rejuvenate. Lastly, I must commend the host for their exceptional service. They were prompt, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. The house is in a great location for wildlife and views. Elena was super fast with communication and the property was just as listed.

A fantastic place to stay if you are sightseeing in and around Anchorage. The views are spectacular. We saw moose just about every day as we drove down the street. Nice to have hiking trails nearby too. Great kitchen appliances and lots of room to prepare meals. Bathrooms need a bit updating. Master bedroom needs room darkening shades during summer solstice. Overall, we enjoyed staying here and would recommend it.

Nice peaceful and private location with beautiful views and plenty of space to stretch out and enjoy Anchorage area. Elena was spectacular and super helpful. Her home and advice helped to make our trip even better. She was super flexible and even had a rental van that we utilized while we were there which saved time and money versus the expensive airport options. We are very pleased with our experience and stay. Thanks Elena!
