My family has been vacationing on Hilton Head for 38 years. The Amore House was best rental based on its excellent location, house structure and amenities - beach chairs, boogie boards, ping pong table, shuffleboard court, pool and jacuzzi and last but not least a 5 minute walk to the beach. I would highly recommend and look forward to returning.

Five spacious bdrms and close to beach

So convenient you beach and Coligny. Parking was perfect for us with 5 vehicles and the pool setup is fabulous. 5 Bedrooms and a Big Couch worked for our big crowd.

We loved everything about our stay. We had a problem with the pool becoming cloudy and green and they had someone come out immediately and had it cleared up in no time. We will definitely be back. 10 out of 10

We enjoyed our stay for the most part but had a few issues. The dryer was very loud and sounded like it was on its last leg. Hopefully that will be resolved for the next guests. We paid for the pool to be heated but were skeptical it was actually heated based on how it felt based on our experience with heated pools. The showers were sub par. On the positive side - the house was well stocked with kitchen equipment. There was also ample room for our family + parents (9 in total). For the price we paid it was a good value. Our kids enjoyed the games in the basement and we found the pool and beach equipment helpful that was in the basement even though we were told that none of that would be there. We also liked the location and will be staying in the general location next time too. We checked the house for next year and it is listed at more than double the price we paid this year. We will definitely not be choosing this house at that way more expensive price.

Great vacation home, we really enjoyed our stay! Very convenient; close to the beach and Coligny as well as some very nice restaurants. We appreciated the use of the beach chairs and enjoyed relaxing in the pool in the evening. If all works out, we’ll be back next year!

Large house with plenty of bathrooms. Walking distance to uncrowded beach and Coligny Square. Well stocked kitchen with extra refrigerator made feeding a large group easier. The furniture and bed linens need to be updated. Not enough seating in living room. Wonderful vacation. Will rent this house again.

Checked in and spend over an hour cleaning the filthy pool and pool filter. The deck area was filthy, moldy and needed to be pressure washed. The floor rugs/ mats were filthy so we washed them within an hour of walking in. There was Zero propane for the grills. We had gone grocery shopping and bought and marinated meats to put on grill but instead had to go out and drop $300 for the 11 of us to eat out. The flattop grill was just a slab of rust- you would never want to actually put food on it. Our master bedroom smelled like sewage, something must have been in the pea trap, but it was really horrible. You could smell it from down the hall from our bedroom. We were told the pool heat would be turned on as it was only 70 out and pool was freezing but they never turned it on. On day 2 of our stay someone came over and brought propane also came to pressure wash the pool deck and furniture and so we had that going on most of the entire day and everything was soaking wet. Should have been done B4 we checked in! The property manager came and agreed our room smelled like sewage but did nothing about it. After day 2 the company did not respond to any of our MANY calls, texts, visits to office, etc.. We did not even get a response. I have called 2x since we checked out as well and no response. The house was great location and it would have been really nice but property manager dropped the ball on all these details and lack of response.
