Loved the location! If you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing vacation this is definitely the place. Communication with Justin was very easy and he always responded to questions we had pretty quickly!

2nd time to Ocean Village and first in this condo. Everything was as advertised. Host communicated promptly and location of condo was close to the restaurant and fitness center....Perfect for us.

We both loved the fact that it was so close to the beach, literally just steps away. The condo itself is in need of some easy maintenance, but there was nothing that impeded our stay at all.

My family (me/wife-mid 30s, 7 year old, 4 year old, 11 month old) stayed at The Ocean Cottage and could not have been happier. The unit was beautiful-exactly as shown in pictures. It is a short walk to the beach which we visited every day. Justin texted me with check-in instructions the morning of my arrival and was very responsive the rest of the week with the several questions I had. Communication was great. The unit had everything we needed to enjoy the beach. Plenty (I mean plenty) of towels were provided. The storage room had coolers, beach bags, beach chairs, sand castle toys, umbrellas, mats, and more. I was really impressed. We didn't golf or play tennis but rackets, clubs, and balls were there for us to use. Ocean Village itself is awesome. Everything you need is right there-beach access, great pool, poolside tiki bar, on-site restaurant, golf, tennis, pickle-ball, basketball, decent fitness center, and more. My family felt safe and welcomed. The beds in this place were the most comfortable beds in a hotel/rental I've ever slept on. That was a very welcomed surprise. If I had to provide suggestions, I have only two minor ones- 1. We would have liked a way to lock the main entry door that was only accessible from the inside (like a deadbolt or hotel style lock). To be clear, the front entry door keypad locked as it should and we felt safe but if someone knew our code they could walk right in. This would be just an additional security feature that would provide even more piece of mind while we slept. 2. A guide on how to work the televisions and access the cable. I was able to figure it out with a few minutes of tinkering but less tech-savvy individuals may have some frustration as there is no information provided. I highly recommend this unit. My family is already looking at dates next summer for an even longer stay this time. We really loved it!

Beautifully beachy decorated space with everything needed to relax and enjoy including dishes, towels, chairs, cooler, golf clubs, washer/dryer, etc. Comfy and cosy. Excellent communication with host and very responsive. Beautiful pool and amenities.

If you are looking for something that is a best kept secret, you have found it! Our stay included me and my husband, 14 and 12 yr old daughters and a 3 yr old son. This property had everything that you needed and then some! It was close to the beach and pool. The owner's have everything you needed to enjoy yourself at the beach or at the pool. Including chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, beach towels, literally anything you can think of that you would need. You can tell they have put alot of thought into what is needed to enjoy yourself with no need to pack extras, and with a family of 5 that is definitely a plus! The owner was very prompt when replying to our questions and was very accommodating when we reached out on our first day there.We would most definitely stay here again!

Pros: lovely condo, well supplied and tastefully decorated. The owners tried to be sure all the little things you might need are there. People at Ocean Village are very welcoming. Restaurant on premise is great, and all the outdoor amenities are wonderful. Cons: Dishwasher not working, told it would be fixed but wasn’t. Owner controlled room temperature remotely, made the first nights uncomfortably warm. When we had a cold spell, we had no heat at all for 2 days. Set to 73, never got above 59. When talking to owner about these basic needs, heat and AC, Justin literally yelled at me, saying he is a busy person who doesn’t have time for my issues. Then said, “this is not a motel, you may leave if you don’t like it” Bottom line, owner needs to learn to treat renters with respect, after all we are paying his mortgage. Suggest you rent at Ocean Village from another source.

My husband and I decided to surprise our family with a trip from Houston TX to the island. My parents live on the Island and my Aunt and Uncle have a condo in Ocean Village. We have 2 year old boy /girl twins and a 4 year old daughter. We absolutely loved this place. The decor is adorable, new and fresh. The beds were very comfortable and we loved that they added the french doors to the bedroom so that we could close them when the kids were asleep. There are 2 tv's that had access to eveything we usually watch Disney plus, Prime, Pandora, all the channels were already logged in so we didn't have to struggle with that. The couch is a good size and there is plenty of seating for guests. We were so happy with the amount of towels (bath and beach) and linens available. We found it helpful with some of the other things they had available for use as well, extra beach bags, cleaning supplies, plenty of hangers, extra throw blankets.... beach toys, chairs...you can tell that they put a little extra effort into this place with the mini soaps, and shampoos, and the silk pillow cases, the electric candles, and their choice of textiles. It was very relaxing, clean, accommodating, and felt just like home. It's very easy to walk to the beach and pools form here, you can hear the ocean while sitting on the porch. The property owners were very easy to get a hold of and they were very detailed with instructions. We would love to rent this place again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Ocean Cottage! Beautifully redecorated older unit, very clean and family friendly! Had everything you need to enjoy the beach! The restaurant has great food and service!

The house was beautiful and just a short walking distance from the beach . Everything for beach fun is pretty much provided for you and the pools/ tiki hut are fun amenities to enjoy too . I would definitely stay again
