We really enjoyed out stay, super easy, great parking, house was super clean. No beach views, but not necessary since it is right on the sand and spent all of our time on the beach!

We had a lovely time staying at this condo. The easy access to the beach made our beach outings effortless. Having dedicated parking was a huge relief.

Property is carpeted which leads to dampness in the ocean environment. Couch needs to be replaced. Bamboo chairs are torn. On a side note, the beach was horrible. I should have been told that the salt marsh was being pumped into the beach area making it a black mess and destroyed the beach retreat I was envisioning. The pumping has been going on for the past 2 and half months so this should have been on the web site as the surf was blackish and had an odor.

Location speaks for itself, unbeatable! The house has nice furnishings and an abundance of amenities. We will be back for sure.

This was the perfect place to spend time with our family and take walks down the beach just steps from the door. Everything we needed was walking distance down the street, we enjoyed shopping and eating out just blocks away. There was an issue with the heater, the property managers were on it immediately and were as helpful as they possibly could to mage sure we were comfortable.

Traveled to Santa Barbara for my son's soccer game and spent a short weekend here. Place was in a great spot right on the beach and walkable to many restaurants. Would definitely stay here again with the family.

The house was very clean and looked just like the pictures. It’s in a quiet town that has plenty of exploring to do but is close enough to drive to Santa Barbara as well. Overall, had a great stay!

Mermaid’s Grotto was a great place to spent a few days over Christmas visiting Carpinteria family. The unit was very well equipped and clean. Best part was …. Out the door, down the steps, climb the berm and there was The beach and Pacific. Beautiful.

Such thoughtful hosts included anything you might need or have forgotten for your trip to the beach so you don't need to waste any beach time on getting supplies! Beautiful place. Beautiful location.

Great condo on a beautiful beach

We enjoyed our stay very much. The condo was nicely decorated and very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and the appliances were newer and modern. There is really no ocean view but the beach is just downstairs and so convenient. It felt very private and quiet where our unit was located. The sectional couch in the living room was so comfy as we watched TV or read. I would suggest 2 improvements: Clean the windows, and replace / fix the stoppers in the bathroom sinks. I wear contact lenses and was afraid I would drop one in the sink when I was putting them on and taking them off. Other than that it was first rate and we would definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed a wonderful week in this very comfortable home. It had everything we needed. Only complaint- fix those screen magnet doors! Hopefully we can come back again next year. Thanks:)

We had a number of cleanliness issues upon arrival, (and discovered more later) but the property manager came over right over with a bottle of wine and clean coffee maker and assured me the prior team had been replaced. The bedrooms were pleasant, but the pillows definitely need an upgrade. I know lots of folks are allergic or don't like feather pillows, but there are down alternatives which are much more comfortable than the "well loved" rather lumpy ones we experienced. Also, hair dryers are relatively inexpensive and one sort of assumes they would be supplied....I had to go out and buy one. The front windows through which there is a pleasant street and mountain view would benefit from a cleaning. The kitchen was very functional and easy to negotiate, but more than one wine glass would have been a plus... The walk to the beach was quick, less than one minute, although there was a massive berm that prohibited the sea view from the complexs' bar-b-q area, but that may only be a result of winter tide/beach action...I don't know enough about that stuff... We walked to town many times, and there is a nice park close by as well. All in all, it felt ok-ish
