This is a great location for the beach. HOWEVER, the unit faces the street and the intersection below and the commuter train across the street are very very noisy. There isn’t a train signal so the train has to blare its horn every time is crosses the street. This starts before dawn and goes well into the night. I didn’t not see any mention of a train in the description or the reviews. This ruined our trip as NONE OF US COULD SLEEP. We decided to leave a day early.

We had a lovely stay at North Coast Village. The condo was beautiful, clean and had every amenity we could have needed including lots of fun stuff for the beach. North Coast Village was a lovely little oceanside community. The only downside was that the noise from the street outfront and the train got a little loud at times, but we would definitely stay here again.

Thank you for all the little touches in this charming condo! From the pack and play to the All laundry detergent that was just what we use for our son’s clothes, we had a blast and were comfortable.
Host was very nice and proactive in making sure we had everything we needed.
The amenities are nice and parking was easy. If we stay in Oceanside again, we are definitely coming back.

We really enjoyed our stay! The condo is spacious yet cozy. It has all the amenities you can think of inside and it’s a beautiful property outside. It’s a one minute walk to the beach and a few blocks to the shops and restaurants in town. Our son is stationed at Camp Pendleton so this location was really convenient. It’s just a few minutes from the main gate. We would definitely stay there again if we get back to Oceanside.

This was a perfect 2 bedroom stay for our family. The location is amazing and check in was a breeze. We loved that the deck opens up to Strand Ave - you can see the ocean. Lots of supplies for baby (pack n play and high chair). Everything you need in the kitchen. You are closer to the train which could be an issue for sensitive sleepers but we did just fine.

Property was beautiful, but it wasn't cleaned when we arrived. Once that was handled, our stay was great! Close to the beach, pool and sauna were wondeful. Kitchen fully stocked with what we needed for meals and chairs/umbrella for the beach. Very strict with 3pm check-in, and thankfully we didnt arrive too early and only had to wait about 10min before being let in. Overall, very pleased and would stay in the complex again.

This condo is under rated! It had everything we needed and more! The photos don’t do it justice. The condo is modern and very clean.
For anyone worried about the train noise unless you are the lightest of sleepers you won’t be bothered. The beach is just a very short walk, also the end of the strand is right at the beach entrance as well so it’s a great start to walk to the pier. Will definitely try to stay again.

Definitely enjoyed our stay at Patty’s place. Everyone was very comfortable, plenty of space to spread out. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to make meals. The rest of the building amenities were awesome and kept everyone entertained and relaxed. Would definitely stay here again.

The condo was very clean and spacious for three of us. The walk to the beach is two minutes and lots of beach toys provided in the unit. The pool is large along with a nice sized jacuzzi and the whole grounds are beautiful like an exotic oasis. The fitness/gym area is top notch with plenty of machines and there is plenty of room for multiple people to use at the same time.
The only downside to the second floor corner unit is that it is on the main street where lots of beach traffic (walking and driving) occurs. There is also train tracks really close so noise can be an issue until after 10-11pm and the occasional 1am freight train going by. The owner does provide plenty of ear plugs which work pretty good if you don't mind sleeping with them in.
Overall, I would book this property again and the owner is extremely quick in responding to any questions and/or concerns.

Always a great time in Oceanside and staying at the beautiful North Coast Village! The condo was excellent just located on the corner of a busy intersection and train tracks. I don’t remember being noted in descriptions. That was the only negative although it was a very nice and spacious. It was very well equipped and stocked with all essentials. Good communication with Patty during our stay for any questions I had.

We were lucky to have found this beautiful property! It was an easy and quick walk to the beach! The condo was stocked good, with the items we needed for cooking, bathing, etc. I would stay here again and recommend anyone else to stay here as well!!

We loved renting this unit! It is a little more spacious then units we’ve rented in the past. It is so clean, organized and well stocked! Plenty of bath towels and items for the beach! The owner has put a lot of thought into what you would need throughout your stay and it met our family’s needs perfectly. We really enjoyed the long table for our family dinners and games with plenty of room. All the little touches made our stay one of our best yet. We plan to come back next year!

The condo was spacious, clean, and well equipped for our stay. The location is ideal! The entire property is beautiful and offers so much with the pool. Hot tub, putting green, beautiful landscape, convenient parking, and steps from the beach. We enjoyed the beach chairs and toys, and we were grateful for the many beach towels. We were happy with our stay and hope to return again. We highly recommend this unit and property.

The unit is well stocked including plenty of dishes, spices, coffee pods, blankets, pillows, towels, and games/beach items. Plenty of room to stretch out on the couch or have coffee on the balcony with the peekaboo beach view.

We’ve stayed at other places in Oceanside before and always pondered the North Coast Village. We will definitely be coming back! I’m tempted to leave a poor review only so that there are less people that want to rent it so we have more options in the future!

We loved our stay. After a week of fun and sun, we were sad to be leaving our home away from home. The amenities for our family from 2 years old to 75 were perfect. Toys and and TVs for all to stay entertained. There were even children plates, bowls, and silverware. If you have kids, this place accommodated. If the opportunity presents itself, we will definitely stay again.

This was a great condo!!!!! Size was perfect for 2 adults and 3 kids ages 12-14. The setup/layout is great. Tons of family room space plus dining space. Never felt cramped. We had zero complaints for this room. Owner thought of everything. Lots of towels (beach and regular) and cleaning supplies provided. Provided coffee too. Lots of extras provided from coolers, to picnic bag, to body boards, to a wagon and chairs (beach and folding sports chairs) and games (board and card). There also was beach toys and putters and gold balls but we didn't use these. There were so many options for sleeping space too and tons blankets, pillows and sheets provided. Large fans in each room that kept them at perfect temperatures. Previous reviews complained of noise, but we didn't mind. Coming from Chicago this was not loud for us. Owner provided ear plugs too.

The condo was so clean and comfortable! Everything was perfect! Smooth check in and out. Everything worked great. No problems at all! The beach closet was amazing! All the chairs, toys and even a cooler not to mention a wagon to haul it all in!!!! Loved the location. The train did not bother us at all. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you might need, linen closet had plenty of fresh towels and extra clean linens.

This was perfect!! Small town atmosphere and I loved the people visiting and walking down to the beach!! I even loved the sound of the train going by!! I’ll be back!! Cute condo! So awesome to be within walking distance to the beach and loved the hot tub on the property. The place has so many amenities we really did not want to go anywhere ha ha…. However we made a short trip to San Diego and up the sore. Enjoy!!! Definitely would come back again!! Plenty of space and very cute and cozy!!

Great overall, easy to get in and out. Very responsive owner. Had no issues. A lot of people mentioned noise being an issue, seemed it was only Saturday night, rest of the nights were great. Also super close to extra parking. Great place to stay.

This condo was super clean, well furnished and a great quick walk to the beach. Fun ocean view off of patio. Beds are a bit dated and could use an upgrade. It is right by the train, but with the doors closed the noise isn't bad. NorthCoast is a lovely condo setting and we would stay again.

Unforgettable
I can’t say enough good things about this place. It was absolutely perfect for what we needed. There were just two of us so we didn’t use the second bedroom very often but will definitely come back with our two kids and it will still be a perfect setting. Everything you could need, so close to the beach, a little jaunt or a quick drive to amazing restaurants and shops. Oceanside is just splendid. Patty was great about communicating and there were no issues. We will definitely be back.
