Stayed here for a quiet getaway with friends and family. The house was well kept and very clean. We enjoyed the amenities including grilling on the deck and playing some ping pong in the basement. There were plenty of beds for everyone and the kitchen made meal prep easy. The home was pretty far up a dirty road so just be prepared for ruts, holes and mud, but we made it up with no issue in our minivan.

Everything was wonderful and exactly as described. The views were amazing and it was a clean well stocked cabin. Good contact with the host and no problems with check in or check out. No concerns getting up the mountain in family vehicles in June but snow would be a challenge. We definitely felt the elevation for a day or two but the view, fresh air, and aspens were worth it!

was awesome and so accommodating! We have stayed in many places in the Red River area and this definitely was the most peaceful and beautiful! All you needed was there -- and they were not skimpy on supplies like some other places! Our family so enjoyed our stay!

We loved our stay here. The cabin is well stocked with everything you need. We enjoyed having the extra space around us and the kids loved sledding The views are absolutely beautiful. I highly Recommend staying here.

This absolutely lovely home is nestled in the serene woods! The pet-friendly accommodation was a delightful surprise - with NO ODORS, offering a perfect retreat for both humans and furry friends. If you are looking for a quiet and secluded getaway...THIS IS your place! KID-friendly, PET-friendly, and with plenty of room to move around! Don't forget to look outside at night, you will see ALL the stars... for there is no light pollution! AWESOME!

The house was beautiful! There were 4 couples and we had plenty of room. We cooked all our meals there and the kitchen and everything we needed!
It is very remote but we stayed at the house the whole time. Great hiking! It was the perfect getaway!!!

We stayed for 3 weeks, and I was sad to leave at the end. The house is beautiful, the kitchen and bathrooms welk-stocked, the beds very comfortable. It’s also very private - we couldn’t see any other houses, but the balcony/deck was big enough to see the mountains and gorgeous view. It is high up on the mountain, which was no problem for us but could be tough for those who don’t drive cars that do well on dirt roads. That’s not a criticism at all, because the drive up the mountain has a big payoff!

Great layout for families. Kids loved staying downstairs, playing cards and ping pong all night. Views were great, and perfect spot to enjoy your coffee on the porch at night. Barb was very attentive and responsive.

The cabin is gorgeous and the view is unbelievable! I highly recommend the cabin. If you’re looking for an amazing cabin with million dollar views then this is it!! When I return to the area I will definitely check availability on this cabin first.
There are a few things that do need to be updated. The grill is in pretty bad shape so we weren’t able to use. It wasn’t really a big deal to us though we just utilised the beautiful oven. However it just needs to be replaced. Also the white cushions on the wicker furniture needs to be replaced or reupholstered but again it really wasn’t a big deal for us. Just recommendations.

The home is beautiful and well kept. After our first night’s stay, I was surprised to find that the floors were heated!
The home is nested high in the mountain and provides gorgeous views of the valley below and the mountains across.
All the rooms have plenty of space. The kitchen and laundry have updated appliances. My favorite was the range stove.
The only caution: I would strongly advise others to have a four wheel drive vehicle. The roads can get muddy and icy as you travel up the mountain. We used 4 wheel drive the entire time of our stay.

We came to stay at this beautiful home over the Holiday weekend for a family & friends ski trip. The house has an awesome view of the mountain & was comfy, with all the accommodations. We brought all our own food & cooked every meal there. The owners had everything we needed to do so!

This property was absolutely amazing. My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The kiddos enjoyed the play room and sledding outside. It has beautiful views we even saw some turkeys and deer. The only thing was we were unable to use was the patio due to there being so much snow. But other than that our stay was absolutely amazing. We made some beautiful memories to last us a lifetime and the cabin was equipped with all of the necessities needed. The jetted tub was the cherry on top after a long day of ice fishing. Definitely recommended and will hope to stay again in the future.

This property was perfect for our annual family trip. The house was just as represented. The only drawback to this house is getting to it, but the view more than makes up for it. You will be amazed at that view of the ski slope and the valley to the North.

We just stayed here for a week. The property was well maintained and had everything we needed. Barb, the owner was very responsive. Really had no issues except the outside heater didn't work. She offered to have a handyman check it out but we declined. House has 4 bedrooms- 2 downstairs one with king bed and master bath and other with queen and bathroom/shower across the hall. Two bedroooms upstairs with shared bathroom. Downstairs with bunk and sofas and ping pong table. It's a long convoluted drive up the mountain but worth it for the views and privacy. Saw some deer and elk outside.

The landlords were great in quickly responding to our requests, which were minimal. The cleanliness and amenities at the house were excellent.
Be aware of the elevation, if you have health issues affected by altitude.

Enjoyed our stay immensely. We had a large group and the sleeping accommodations worked out for our group. Loved the deck and the views were fantastic. The drive to the property is quite a bit up the mountain, but in the summertime it was not a problem. Definitely enjoyed the cooler weather!

This is a beautiful house that accommodated our large family just fine. We only experienced very minor issues like lamps not working and the fridge filter needing replacement. Overall the house was great and it really made our stay and getaway very enjoyable!

Beautiful Mountain Cabin
My family and I really enjoyed staying in this beautiful mountain home. There are five separate sleeping areas which worked great for our large group. The house was immaculately clean and amazingly well stocked. There is anything you could possibly need to cook a meal. The views were spectacular and Angel Fire ski resort is 15 minutes away. You can actually see the slopes from the large deck off the main room. Our overall experience was awesome. I would recommend anyone who goes here during winter to have all wheel or front wheel drive. The road to the cabin was well maintained but you are at the top of the mountain (thus the views ). The property manager Barb was very responsive and easy to work with as well. We would definitely stay here again.

High elevation
Barb and Tom were extremely responsive when we reached out to them with property questions at arrival and throughout our stay. Please note that this is a home at very high elevation and had we known that prior to arrival or booking we would have made other health related decisions. I would also recommend that the listing state that in winter months 4wd is required not just recommended due to a steep driveway. Views are beautiful and the kitchen was nicely equipped.

Beautiful New Mexico
The only compliant about this property was the high elevation 9600 ft. The day we arrived was a little rocky because of the ice in the driveway. We all had 4 wheel drive but still had trouble getting up the steep drive. Barb's husband Tom was Johnny on the spot to help us though. Other than that the house and management was exceptional. We had plenty of room for the whole family, the kids enjoyed sledding which the house provided. Beautiful views. It would be a great place in the summer so you could enjoy the great balcony.

we really enjoyed our winter stay at the house in Angel Fire....it was warm, cozy and inviting and could accommodate our large group very nicely. The views were amazing, and we would come back again for sure!
