The property worked well for 18 of us for four+ days. There was plenty of room to spread out and we were able to be inside or outside. Brandon was very responsive to any issue we had and got back to me right away.
Some people thought the property could have been cleaner. I agree but I also think it must be very hard to keep a place of this size super clean when the turnaround time is so limited and so many people use the place. It's certainly possible that my standards are lower than others in the group.
The pool was wonderful for us given that it is shallow - maybe 3 1/2' deep. The lining will need to be replaced soon and I am sure that it is a major expense.
We wanted to be together and we got to be together in a lovely place with two grills, two stoves, two big refrigerators, and lots of room for everyone.

We have an annual family weekend (18 of us!) and this property was perfect! The pool was a big hit and just right for all the kids (ages 4-16), as well as adults.
The house was spacious with multiple living areas to hang out but not be on top of each other. The kitchen had everything you could need. I think it's be best stocked kitchen we've seen. The karaoke machine was really fun for the kids.
Besides the pool, there was lots of outdoor space. We enjoyed the picnic pavilion, volleyball area and fire pit - perfect for smores.
We also enjoyed hiking in the area, local pizza and ice cream. Highly recommend!

21 of us .Lots of rooms and spacious kitchen.Pool Needs some help. Liner was loose. No rail to get up to the pool. My wife is on a walker and I am going in for knee surgery so a rail would have helped a lot .Tim Connors

We had a blast. It was in the 90’s the whole time we were there so we got a lot of use out of the pool and on the patio! Caught a few nice size fish too! The hammock was amazing. We also enjoyed a family friendly game of volleyball on the hill! All the rooms were good sized! Lots of places to hang out! No complaints! We all had a great vacation!

The house is in a secluded area. They weren't ready for us because of a mix up but the beds were made and though things weren't sparkling they weren't gross either. The place was homey and everything that was brought to the managers attention was addressed. We're an active bunch and appreciated all there was to do.

This house was great and a perfect setup for a weekend retreat with friends. Really beautiful property and tons of space. We enjoyed the views of the pond and surrounding forest, it was really peaceful. Some of the outdoor areas and outdoor furniture like the side patio were pretty dirty, but there were many other hang out areas for all of us so it wasn’t a big deal. All in all in was a great stay.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Deer Ridge! All my cousins and their children came together for 2 nights and we could not have asked for a better place. Plenty of room for everybody, and plenty of things to do. Just exploring the property could take a day! We all decided that WHEN we come back, we'll stay for 3 nights, not 2! Owners thought of everything; so many details that I've not seen at other places we've rented. All very thoughtful and appreciated! Can not recommend this place enough!!

Our group of 11 adults and 11 children enjoyed this cabin for the 2nd year in a row. The house has plenty of space and met our needs.

Our family of 16 had a wonderful weekend at Deer ridge. We loved the side porch and spent alot of time sitting there catching up. We fished and raced rc boats in the pond. We played volleyball and had a campfire. We made huge meals and were very thankful for the 2 ranges. We were disappointed that the foosball table wasnt there as it was listed and shown in pictures. Also the basement could use a thorough cleaning. We had a dirty sheet issue during our stay and Brandon was quick to respond and replaced the sheets. All in all we had a fantastic weekend and would definitely stay here again. Thank you for hosting our family!

We had a wonderful visit with an abundance of room and activities for all ages. Close to nearby hiking. Was disappointed that we were unable to fish at the pond located on the property. There was no propane tank for the grill or bundle of firewood as described. The property manager was notified and was going to bring the propane tank and offered to bring wood, but never delivered either. Not a huge problem, but did require a few changes in plans. Overall, had a lovely stay with plenty of room for our family and beautiful scenery.

This was the perfect for our family reunion. There were 23 of us, 11 adults and 12 children ages 2-18.
The house was very comfortable and had plenty of room for all of us. Kitchen is very well stocked. Different ages could group in different areas without disturbing anyone. The pool and fire pit were enjoyed by all and the pond in front was a perfect setting for our family pictures. There was room to park all the cars. Couldn't have asked for a better place to enjoy a few days of heaven with our family together.

This is a sprawling property well back from the road. It was serene and picturesque. There were 19 of us, including 10 children, ages 2 to 14. Plenty of room for all. TV sets everywhere, comfortable beds and a very well equipped kitchen. The pool was deep enough to enjoy and shallow enough that all but the 2 youngest could stand up. Volleyball net, Cornhole, covered pavilions and a fire ring with large bass in the pond and lawn enough for sport. Randy was very responsive to questions and concerns, though our report of the malfunction of one of the commodes was not remedied as promptly as would have been desired.
Overall, we really enjoyed the property and our stay. We highly recommend it!

This property was the perfect size for our family. From the pool/hot tub to the theater room all of our grandchildren had something to do. The only downside we found was that there was not much room to fish from the outside perimeter of the pond. Other than that, perfect spot for a fun, quiet, relaxing vacation with family. Saw roaming deer from the porch every day. Beautiful!

We really enjoyed our stay! House was very large with plenty of extra room. So much for the kids to do- fish, swim, play volleyball, pool table… Would definitely stay here again!

The property was so well cared for and clean! Small walking trails in the woods, hammocks, a hidden picnic table, theater room....so many hidden gems! Although we did leave the property to hike, there would have been no need to with all the activities the property housed. Wonderful stay and we hope to stay again in the future!

From welcoming us to the property to helping with small requests, the owners were gracious, respectful and helpful. It is a beautiful, spacious, well equipped home and was perfect for our entire family to celebrate our Mom’s 100th birthday! The reason I didn’t rate a 5 on the cleanliness of the property was the side porch needed swept from natural debris. However, it didn’t interfere with our time at the home! I would highly recommend this property and owners. Thank you so much!

We had a great time and would recommend this beautiful home to anyone. There is plenty of room for everyone to sleep and have their own space. The home is equipped with everything you could possibly need. We cooked several large meals, watched a lot of football, enjoyed the hot tub, made s’mores by the fire and so much more. Brandon was so wonderful to check on us and offer to bring us anything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

The house quickly became our home for the weekend! It was so warm and inviting. The pictures do not really show how expansive the house and property are. There was plenty of room for our whole family. The kitchen was ideal for preparing our Thanksgiving feast, the two ranges and refrigerators were so helpful. We were also blessed with a surprise snowfall making everything even more picturesque!

We had 11 adults and 11 children ages 3-11 years old. The space was perfect for our use- plenty of space for all of us to spread out and plenty of large group hang out options. Each family had private space and there were more than enough bathrooms and TVs. Our large group appreciated having two ovens and stove tops for meals! The outdoor space is wonderful and proximity to HH State Park was nice. We would definitely stay here again. We did notice that the dryer doesn’t dry efficiently (had to run clothes through twice) and the master shower leaked. We will notify them and I’m sure they will address it as everything else was in working order, clean and beautiful. You won’t regret booking this place!

Enjoyed my stay, went with a group of 20 for a corporate retreat. I accidentally left my prescription glasses, medication and a bag of toiletries there. The owner said they would look for them and then completely ghosted me and wouldn’t return my texts or phone calls which I found pretty rude. I wouldn’t have been upset if they said they couldn’t find my stuff, or if there policy was to throw away found items but the decision to completely ignore me was very unprofessional.

Wonderful. So much fun. Only cons are that the heated pool was freezing in late September. Needs a cover and the Foosball table needs to be replaced. Other than that I was awesome! We definately will go back.

This property was a perfect match for our extended family. The children spent most of their time outdoors, looking for fish off the pier, swimming morning, noon and night. Family volleyball game, participants ages 5 to 73. singing around the campfire, roasting marshmallows and doing art projects that we brought with us on the porch. All porches were utilized. Indoor space had plenty of sleeping accommodations. We enjoyed a fun evening dancing in the upstairs theater room with ballroom lights.
