Gathering at the cozy cabin nestled in the woods was a delightful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The cabin was well stocked with everything we needed, from kitchen essentials to board games. The weekend was filled with laughter, good food, and memorable moments. The hot tub was a huge hit, where we relaxed as snow gently fell around us. Magical! It was the perfect setting for quality time with friends and family.

The house was in a beautiful spot with wonderful views. It was very quiet and peaceful. Our only complaints would be that the game table and dart board didn't work, there were several places where things could have been cleaner, and the hand soaps provided throughout the house were watered down.
Other than those things, the property is very nice, and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Deadwood Connections manages this property, and while the communication leading up and during the trip was good, the overall experience staying at this location was underwhelming. This particular property is better suited for 10 ppl, not 12. (that's even with kids) The kitchen is VERY small and the counter space is also small. Not ideal for group dinners in the house. We were thankful the weather was pleasant, otherwise it would have been a terrible stay. We had to turn off the air conditioning, as the condensation plate under the air conditioning was broken, leaving the basement carpeting soaking wet. The house smelled of cat urine upon arrival, and if we didn't have the windows open the entire time, being in the house would have been unbearable.
The house wasn't as clean as it should have been. Dead flies all around the house, and dust on counter tops and end tables. Our kids wanted to play the air hockey game, but the glass/plastic lid on the game was broken on all sides.
If you like to enjoy a bonfire at night, this place does not have the space to accomodate.
And lastly, the dryer doesn't dry clothes all the way. We did find out that the lint vent wasn't cleaned for quite some time, having about two inches of lint on the vent. Even after moving the lint from the vent, the dryer didn't dry the way it should. Overall - the stay was wnderwhelming and smelly. Wouldn't stay again.

Neat cabin off the beaten track
The cabin was as described. We had 5 people and there was more than enough room. Most cooking utensils were provided. Beds were comfortable. We fit a trailer, side-by-side and 4 vehicles into the parking spaces and didn't have room to spare but it worked. I would rent again.

Excellent cabin, but tight space for 12 overnight guests
The cabin is excellent and sleeps 12 people, as advertised, provided some guests don’t mind sharing a room with 3 other people. I would say it comfortably sleeps 8 adults and up to 4 children, or 12 adults who don’t mind bunking together with friends or family members.

Very nice home with easy access to Terry Peak
This was a very nice home. It was clean, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the hot tub was perfect for two people. It is in a development with neighbors close by on both sides so if you're looking for an isolated cabin in the woods this probably isn't your place. But the neighborhood was quiet and it has easy access to Terry Peak for skiing. There is a pretty steep hill to get to the house which could be a struggle if you don't have 4-wheel drive in the winter. Overall, it was a nice stay and we would definitely consider it again if we are in the area.

Great Get Away!
We loved our stay here! The home was very warm and cozy and CLEAN! Just a short drive to downtown Deadwood. We were there for Kool Deadwood Nights. The kitchen was well supplied with cooking gadgets, pot and pans, dishes etc.

4th of July Family Vacation
We had a great stay and really enjoyed the house. There were 9 of us ages 17 on up and had plenty of room for us all! We really enjoyed the deck off the dinning area in the morning and relaxing in the evening!

July Stay
While our trip was short, we thoroughly enjoyed Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse and the beauty of the Black Hills. The house was as was expected…clean, well supplied with dishes, pots and pans, towels, etc. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. It was approximately an hour drive from Mt. Rushmore so plan accordingly. Very much appreciated the washer and dryer. Would definitely recommend staying there.

Vacay 2021
This is a beautiful cabin with a nice gameroom and a jacuzzi on the lower level. The main level was comfortable with a nice kitchen and deck. We watched deer and enjoyed the view and the quiet. It was close to Lead and lots of activities. We enjoyed driving through the Wharf gold mine that is very near the cabins on Terry Peak.

Beautiful clean property with great views
Absolutely loved our stay. The views were phenomenal, everything was extremely clean when we arrived and Jonna was very thorough in communicating. Really enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings and watching the wildlife. Would very highly recommend!

Peaceful retreat
We had an excellent stay in Lead thanks in part to this lovely property! Very nice development located on a quiet street. House was very beautiful and well kept, description does it justice! Very nice views of the mountains and that hot tub hit the spot after a day of hiking. Jonna was quick to respond to our inquires and our requests. Very greatful we found a property that allowed us to have our dog and was very nice to have the vacuum left out as he is quite the shedder. There was somethings we notice, possiblely from the last guest, such as animal waste in the back yard and a bit of trash left not properly bagged in the can but I wouldn't put that on the property owner. Over all our stay was excellent and we would highly recommend you consider this property for your stay!

Great Weekend Getaway
My group of friends really enjoyed staying at this cabin. It was nice that it allowed one of the dogs to come along. It had all the cooking and kitchen amenities that we needed. Really enjoyed the hot tub, dart board, bubble hockey table, and the great selection of board games! Very comfortable and beautiful place.
