The property was beautiful and the owner was excellent. The house had everything we needed. We were able to enjoy a homemade breakfast before headed out for the day. We had a great time in Manteo visiting downtown, going to the various restaurants, seeing the Lost Colony, watching the beautiful sunset by the waterfront and relaxing on the beach. We would recommend this place and can’t wait to visit again.

Our entire stay was absolutely amazing, this rental is private, clean and so comfortable. The a/c worked so well, and the extra touches like coffee and toiletries made our stay so easy! We were close enough to the Roanoke island park we walked! Olde Towne Creamery had the best ice cream I’ve ever had, overall we had a wonderful time.

My husband, our two daughters, and I spent 6 days on Roanoke Island. We wanted a quiet, laid-back vacation with plenty of beach time, and we got all of that plus more! This home is the perfect location to use as a base for exploring the outer banks. When we arrived, my husband remarked that it didn’t just seem freshly cleaned, it seemed freshly built/brand new! We had everything we needed to be able to cook meals for 5 nights. It was a cozy, peaceful, relaxing retreat.

We visited all the wonderful sites to se in OBC . Loved the Wright brothers Memorial and down town Matteo. Wedding venue was very close to Vista Creek for wedding. Great restaurants close. Jeannette’s pier was easy parking beach and pier access very close. Very nice visit. Only negative everything closes to early at night..

Everything was absolutely fantastic during our stay. The property was gorgeous, and was equipped with so many wonderful features to make our stay more comfortable. You could see just how much work and love went into the making of it. Bonerjes was easy to get into touch with, and was the most welcoming and helpful host. My husband and I will definitely be coming back in the future for another amazing stay!

Very pretty! The whole guest house looked brand new, and very clean. Our hosts were wonderful and so accommodating with anything we may have needed during our stay. We had our own private entrance, and felt very safe and secure. There was a guest book that we read through from others who had stayed before us, and it gave us further ideas for things to do and great places to eat while we stayed. Check out the Garden Deli Pizza, best pizza you'll have in your life! We would highly recommend this cute little guest house to anyone that wishes to stay in Manteo! Great price, great hosts, beautiful location!

We were very pleased with this property and would recommend it to anyone going to Manteo. It is very close to downtown and The Lost Colony. The guesthouse was very clean and smelled nice. It was decorated beautifully.

The place was great, clean and homely. It has a dedicated driveway and is in a quiet neighborhood. Its within 10 minutes of drive to Nags Head beaches and there are some good options in Manteo for dinner etc.

Cozy little rental...highly recommend.
The owners have worked hard to get this rental cozy and homey. Close to many of the tourist spots. Glad we found this place and we'd stay again. Owners are super nice and very responsive, they live on site.

Cute and clean place to stay! Loved the quieter location in Manteo. Everything was well kept and it was all around very comfortable. Perfect for our vacation.

Beautiful updated property
Loved the location and beautiful space. One bedroom was perfect for my husband and I. Great linens, towels and bedding. Had everything we needed in the kitchen to Cook fresh fish from O'Neals fish market.
Enjoyed the day riding bikes to Alligator River Wildlife Refuge and driving our vehicle on the beach.
We hope to be back soon.

We loved this cute little place! It’s very nicely decorated and clean. The owners did a great job with this remodel. It’s close enough to town that we walked to the shops in about 20 minutes. The neighborhood is quiet and feels safe.
One thing that kinda sucked but not enough to take away a star was that the owners’ small dogs barked and snarled at us every time we walked up the stairs to enter or leave our rental. The fence on the stairs could use a barrier so the dogs can’t see people coming and going. I hate to even bring it up but it did leave both of us startled more than once.

Charming retreat
First I would say the pictures do not do it justice, we were pleasantly surprised at how charming, well decorated, and functional it was for us. We enjoyed the location on Manteo, off the busy tourist area but close to everything.

Manteo Guesthouse
I had a great stay in the guesthouse! It is very close to downtown Manteo and the rest of the Outer Banks, which made traveling and exploring super easy! Just a note-- I saw it said sleeps 4 and didn't check the number of bedrooms, so just know it's one bedroom and a pull-out couch! My bad for not reading more thoroughly. Super clean though and great communication with the owner.
