That was our first time experience on Cayman Islands and we felt so welcomed and the host was checking frequently on our needs.

The listing was exactly as described. Great, clean, functional 1 bed 1 bath apartment with a small kitchenette. No issues at all and slept well most nights. TV had Neftlix and worked well when it was raining or whatnot. It is located about off of West Bay Rd. We had a car so it was no issue for us but if you tried to rent this with the intention of walking to 7 mile beach you will be disappointmented. The best way to hit the beach from here is to have a rental car, grab the two awesome beach chairs they provide you, stop by a shop to get some drinks & ice that you can store in the back of the chairs, and park at Governer's beach and relax! Free and absolutely incredible area of the world. I actually watched a sea turtle snacking by just swimming from the beach with my snorkle gear. Unbelievable! The other downside is the neighbor, which is an at home boat repair shop, has two dogs that LOVE to bark and bark loudly. White noise from our phone muted most of it but still can be pretty annoying. Not much the owner of this property can do about that though.

The home is in excellent condition in a quiet, friendly neighborhood. Not far from all the major attractions/activities. Our host was very gracious. Communication was excellent with plenty of recommendations regarding where to eat and activities on the island. We had a lovely vacation.

From the moment we started looking for a place to stay in Cayman I had questions and Richard and Diane were prompt and extremely helpful answering each of my concerns. We decided to book it and I have never stayed in a location where hosts were so kind, friendly helpful and caring. We got guidance in where to eat, where to rent a car and they checked with us daily to see if they could assist us with anything. The property was incredibly comfortable, spotless and equipped with every possible necessity to make our stay a memorable one. The location of the property was perfect we felt we were close to restaurants and beaches, the evenings were quiet and we had restful sleep. If you are going to Cayman don’t hesitate and book this property and hosts are incredibly perfect. We definitely are coming back and staying with the Ricketts! We simply loved them!!

Beautiful little suite! Comfy, quaint and impeccably clean. Easy commute from the airport, Georgetown and local beaches. The Rickett’s were so attentive to our needs. The communication was above and beyond our expectations. It’s almost like they were out family. The bed was amazingly comfortable and the jetted bathe was great after a long day. Nice linens, plush bath towels, beach towels, beach chairs and so many other amenities made this stay so desirable. The list goes on and on…

My stay at this property was very satisfying. The host, Mrs. Ricketts, is totally committed to providing her guests with everything they need to have a pleasant and satisfying stay in the Caymans. Because there was a little confusion as to where I would be staying and I contacted her just before arriving, she met me at the airport and took me to the place (while providing a orientation tour as well). Everyday she texts to make sure everything is okay. And it is clear that the Ricketts put a lot of thought into providing the place with anything a guest might need - from maps to umbrellas to condiments and so on. Also, the place is spotless and everything is of high quality. People have to decide which part of the island they would like to stay in, but I would definitely recommend the Ricketts place if a quiet, residential area is where you prefer to be. It is easy to get to any of the spots on the island that one would want to visit.

Very clean and modern. Very comfortable bed and quiet. Not big but everything you need. Enjoyed our stay.

While you aren’t located on Seven Mile Beach, it’s a quick and easy drive. The studio apartment has a spacious bedroom and bathroom with 2 showers. The kitchen is very small but great for our needs, we only ate breakfast in. There is an outdoor grill which we considered using. What makes this place the reason we will absolutely be coming back to for years to come hopefully is the hosts. Best hosts ever! They really are there for you. They gave us fresh mango and papaya and welcomed us as if we were family.

Rent both properties they have with another couple. Other rental has full kitchen and separate bedroom. Our unit had a comfortable king bed. Eating area was not thought out well so just awkward. Kitchen too small for me. There is a bbq also. The west bay area grew on me. Diane and Robert got anything we needed immediately. Just a few written beach and restaurant suggestions in unit but when asked Diane was helpful. Outside lounge area was nice but was not sure of neighbours initially but it was fine. Just not pretty to look at.

We loved having a clean and cool place in the West Bay to explore all that the neighbourhood had to offer.

Diana and Robert are fantastic ambassadors for Cayman hospitality. The property was as well appointed as any 5 star. Stretch your dollar and stay here.

The home was comfortable, all the basics were well stocked. The host was attentive and available.

The property was completely clean and in a safe and quiet neighborhood. It was so insulated from noise that even the island roosters could not be heard while sleeping (a big plus for island lodging!). The bed is perhaps the most comfortable we have ever slept in. The location was very convenient to the Cracked Conch and to the entire west side of the island, including all of the beaches and Georgetown. The owners checked in by text every day. The kitchen is small but we were able to cook breakfast every morning. Really just an incredible rental!

The studio is super cute and has everything you need for a relaxing vacation. The bed is very comfortable, the kitchen has essentials, and the bathroom is perfect for washing off all of the salty water. There were lots of towels and extras like soap, lotion, first aid, etc. I got to take a look in the one bedroom next door and it was just as amazing as the studio I stayed in. I will definitely stay again if I return to Grand Cayman

This apartment was clean and had everything we needed. The communication with the owners was excellent. Great value for the price!

We cannot more highly recommend Diane and Robert’s VRBO properties which are all on the same private and quiet grounds in West Bay conveniently located so close to Seven Mile Beach. We stayed in #4 which had a super comfortable king-sized bed and a large and modern bathroom with double sinks and with both a jacuzzi bathtub and a separate walk-in shower. We enjoyed the kitchenette which we used every morning for making breakfast and lunch to take to the beach. A great Fosters supermarket is very close by to stock up on groceries. There is also a little private patio with a comfortable outdoor chair / chaise lounge that is perfect for an evening cocktail before dinner out. The VRBO is only a 5 minute drive to Cemetery Beach and a 10 minute drive to Governors Beach which was our favorite of all the beaches. If you park at Governors Beach parking lot and then walk right if you’re looking at the water down just about 100 yards to the public beach in front of The Pinnacle condos, you’ll have an amazing quiet beach far from all of the crowds that are in front of the Westin. Diane loaned us awesome beach chairs and also a beach bag. She also stocked our little fridge with some basics since we arrived on New Years Eve and the stores were closed the next day. And when we asked to get another set of pillows since we each like to sleep with 2, she literally went to the store and bought us 2 more to add to the bed. Talk about a super host! Diane sent us recommendations and checked on us periodically and really made us feel like family. We cannot recommend this property more and will definitely come back. Do yourself a favor and book this VRBO for yourself!

The location was very quiet and clean. The Ricketts were very nice and made sure we had what we needed. They would check in on us to make sure we didn't need anything. They had great beach chairs that we used every day. Miss it already. Thanks, Michelle & Andriy

This apartment was perfect for our trip! It was easily accessible, cute, clean, and the air conditioning worked great! The bed was super comfortable, the water in the shower was hot. The hosts were wonderful; they checked in with us the day prior to our trip, the day of, and a few times during the trip. The only issue was that the microwave did not work; however, we messaged the hosts and they replaced it the SAME DAY! They did this on a holiday weekend when many stores were closed. A plus!

Wow I can’t tell you how wonderful this place was and the hosts. This cute accommodation had everything we needed. The bed was super comfortable, bathroom was spacious, cute kitchen and just overall very comfortable. The hosts were the most accommodating and caring VRBO hosts we have ever had. They assisted us with special accommodations and made us feel welcome. Great communication, excellent price and we highly recommend this to other travellers. What a week I had at this quaint but complete little gem in the heart of West Bay! First let me say that I'm an adventurous traveler. I do not like resorts and hotels because I like to have a truly authentic experience that reflects where I am staying. This listing is everything I had hoped for: -close to the airport -spacious for two people -kitchen for groceries and light cooking -big, comfortable king bed -big bathroom, complete with lots of towels, good lighting and necessary toiletries But the best part about staying here (yes, I saved it for last) were the generous, considerate and wonderful hosts. Diane & Robert made sure we were comfortable at all times, that we had access to them whenever we had any questions and really went above and beyond to be accommodating to a wanderluster like myself. I rented a car and loved staying in this residence, away from the tourist cookie cutter spots :) You won't regret experiencing GCM like this!

The owner was very polite, respectful, supportive and attentive. The property was amazing and very comfortable. I highly recommend and will be staying again. Five stars from me.
