We stayed for a long weekend and it was the absolute best experience! Love the beautiful lake view from the hot tub! We will definite be going back to celebrate many more birthdays!

We loved our cabin. It was clean and accommodated 6 adults and one three year old. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook all our meals. You just have to make sure you plan your meals ahead of time because it's 20 minutes to the nearest grocery store (Ingles). The road to get to the cabin is narrow and there will be times when you have to pull to the side to let another driver go by. There are other homes around but spaced apart. It has a beautiful view of the lake. Loved drinking my coffee out there. If you're looking for some peace and quiet this cabin is perfect.

Before booking this cabin, I read so many positive reviews. Well, the cabin/experience did not disappoint! This is one of the nicest properties we have stayed at. There was ample room for a family of six with a bed to spare (and a spare couch bed I believe as well). We made the most use of the downstairs game room every night. While some of us were playing pool, others were playing ping pong, and we had poker games every night! There really was no need to leave the cabin. The main floor living room/dining area is very spacious. Plenty of room for all to eat breakfasts/dinners together. We also made use of the hot tub and grill. The kitchen was stocked with everything you needed to cook. The host was easy to reach and always available, with clear check in and check out instructions. I can't say enough about this cabin. While we came over the Christmas break, I would love to return in the summer. The view of the lake was beautiful. And while the cabin is in Morganton and not Blue Ridge, the drive was not bad at all - we were in downtown Blue Ridge in about 20 minutes. The road was paved almost all of the way to the driveway and we did not need four wheel drive to reach it.

Beautiful cabin. Well equipped. Basement was a big hit with grandchildren. Perfect for Christmas family get together.

It was the best cabin and location that we’ve ever stayed at. Carmela was very responsive and flexible when we wanted to check in a little early. The cabin was spotless and very well furnished. Bedrooms are like those of a high end hotel. We will come back!

We enjoyed your cabin so much. We would hike,golf and explore this beautiful area in the days and come back and relax at this wonderful place. Everything was perfect and we had a great time staying here. Looking forward to coming back here in the spring.

It’s a lovely cabin and the host was top notch! House is well stocked, clean, and very tidy. I LOVED the screened in porch. My only comment is that the cabin is very remote; I wasn’t expecting it to be that far off the main road, and it wasn’t super convenient if you plan to come and go. If you’re looking for a secluded getaway, this is perfect! So just depends on your preference. The host was great - easy to communicate with and very responsive!

The house was exactly as described in photos... my family went to get away and unplug and we did just that. Everything we needed and more was available at the house. We enjoyed our stay and will defintely stay here the next time in Georgia. Would 10/10 recommend to everyone. Located near everything and great space to relax

Excellent property

This was one of our favorite VRBO stays! The house was ample, well stocked, nicely decorated with newer furnishings (it’s never a nice feeling to sit on a couch that looks like thousands have used it), and clean! So clean that in fishing out kids toys from under tables, couches etc we did not find mystery objects from past stays for once. We loved unplugging in the remote location. It does take a while to drive into town but this was not an issue for us, just worth knowing you are off the main path a good bit. We def hope to come back to this house.

My family and I just spent 6 days, 5 nights in this stunningly beautiful cabin, and we could not be any happier with our stay! The booking process was extremely easy and quick. The day before we were to check in, the host, Carmela sent us all of the pertinent information we would need along with the entry code information. The rules were all very clearly communicated and easy to understand. Carmela checked in with us during our stay, and again contacted us the day before check out with some helpful reminders. Needless to say, the communication was excellent! The cabin was easy to locate and not an issue to access, even with a compact SUV. The roads leading up to the cabin can be narrow at times, but we rarely saw other cars and when we did, they kindly pulled over for us to pass. The moment we pulled up to the cabin, it was clear that the cabin is extremely well take care of. The exterior was clean and the outdoor furniture and BBQ had covers. The view of the lake was amazing! Upon stepping inside, I was blown away at how the cabin somehow looked even more beautiful in person, than it appeared online. It was SPOTLESS, uncluttered, and yet beautifully decorated. It looked professionally decorated! All of the appliances looked new and everything was in perfect working condition. The rooms were very spacious and there was plenty of room and closet space. The host thought of every detail to make guests feel at home! I would absolutely stay here again!!

The cabin is more beautiful than the photos. It's nestled in the woods in a secluded cove, a short hike to the lake. We rented a boat, hiked, and visited a couple waterfalls. Downtown Blue Ridge was also a charming draw. The hottub and ping pong and pool tables were great for family time too. Hope to rebook in the future. This is a true what you see is what you get! A clean, well maintained and relaxing get-away cabin. Check in was a breeze- everything was provided and communication was excellent. A day after we left, my entire family kept saying how they missed the cabin. Looking forward to going back!!

The house is clean, spacious, beautifully built and decorated. It is fully equipped with anything he you may need during your stay and the owner has put a personal touch in every room that was really lovely. I loved the screened in porch and big deck with view of the lake and the firepit down below. Lake access is not far and is perfect for swimming if kayaks/ canoe’s. Great communication with host. We had a great time!

Awesome experience from beginning to end. Beds are comfy, towels soft and fluffy, couch spacious, and view absolutely amazing. We actually extended our stay just to enjoy the cabin more.

This is the perfect cabin for a relaxing and fun family trip! It is beautiful with an awesome view, very clean and all the details were so well though out. Carmela is a great host and goes out of her way to make sure you have everything you need. Will love to come back!

We thoroughly and 100% enjoyed our stay here! Not only was the property extremely clean and well-kept, but there were so many little extra touches that made our stay so much more fun! We took advantage of the game room every single day, used the outdoor fire pit, had a fire in the living room fireplace, enjoyed the hot tub, made lots of yummy meals in the fully stocked. kitchen! The different areas of seating from the screened in porch to the swinging egg chairs on the deck looking over the lake were wonderful to have. We were very lucky with beautiful weather, but if the weather had not been great, I think we still would’ve had an amazing time just hanging out together as a family enjoying the cabin! Wi-Fi worked great. There are streaming televisions throughout the property, ping-pong and billiards and other games available for your enjoyment! We highly recommend this property! The host even assisted us above and beyond when we had car trouble on the last day (Thank Uiu!) That was the only hiccup in our stay, and Carmela helped smooth it out for us! We had very few questions, but every time we did, she very promptly answered everything, and was always so wonderful and kind! We loved staying here, and only wish we had more time! Thank you Carmela for everything!

Beautiful cabin!! We loved the wood burning fireplace, ping pong table, and outdoor decks for dining!! The home is beautifully appointed with a relaxed elegance. We had an unforgettable family Thanksgiving. Cabin is tucked in the woods down a winding narrow road and directions were spot on! Owners have thought of everything to make vacation extra special.

We had an absolute wonderful time staying at this property! It had everything and more including the hot tub, pool table and pong pong table. The amount of space for 8 of us that stayed there was perfect! Highly recommend this place for families. The whole property was very spacious, a truly wonderful cabin feel. This cabin was ideal for our weekend. Thursday - Monday went by too fast. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our hostess, Carmela, made sure to go above and beyond to make this weekend special. All of the pre trip instructions, reminders, and the special beverages provided to add to our enjoyment made for easy access to a wealth of knowledge on what we might need to really have a good time. Carmela left no stones unturned with communication before, during, and after our trip. My husband, William and our guests, The Taylors had a pleasurable trip. The amenities provided are over the top in making it a "Home Away from Home." There is no wasted space in this cabin. From the game room to the hot tub, it allowed us extreme opportunities of Rest and Relaxation as we celebrated William's 70th Birthday. The serenity provided by the very "Nature" of things made us want to stay even longer. From the Lake scene to the drive into and through the woods, we were set up for an escape away from the everyday hustle and bustle of city living. I MUST speak on the cleanliness of the environment which made me very comfortable in staying here. The NO SMOKING policy is a dream for a person like me who suffers from environmental allergies. Every thing was PERFECT!!! We were already talking about returning before we'd even left. Thanks Carmella for the awesome hospitality. The Harris's & Taylors will be back.

We also enjoyed the downstairs game room and TV area, where we played table tennis and other games. The bedrooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. The kitchen had all of the appliances and utensils we needed to eat our meals at the cabin. The narrow, winding road up to the cabin is manageable at slow speed as there are well-thought out places to pull to the side for an oncoming car to pass on the opposite side. All of the complimentary starter items were very thoughtful, and made our stay much easier. We received very helpful communication from the owner and everything from check-in to check-out was very seamless. I truly appreciated having such an easy and enjoyable stay. Look no further than this house if you want comfort beauty and tranquility. You can spend days inside without getting bored, which slow me down from exploring other places if I have to complain about sth 😂. Must mention the high tech appliances that you won’t find it anywhere else.
