well decorated cottage with a lot of thoughtful personal touches, had everything we needed, amazing stay!

It was a five star accommodation. She welcomed us with a loaf of bread, milk and a stick of butter. I like the artisan bread so much that I bought one in the local store on my back home. It provided everything I would have needed. The meticulous service included a bag of whisky stones, a deck of board games, a fresh bottle of Perrier, a small flower pot on the patio table, you name it. Every corner of the house was impeccably appointed. The beds were comfort. The towels were soft. Every picture frame tells a story, justifying why it should be hung there. Everything was so impressive. It is located in about 15 minute drive from the Blue Mountain Resort and tucked away from the highway, offering both convenience and privacy. There is a small sandy beach near the marina, which is great for little children. There are a couple of restaurants in the town as well.

Lynn is an amazing host. Doolittle is exactly as described… everything was perfect.

My parents and brother stayed at The Dookit for two nights, I booked the stay for them and visited one afternoon while they were there. What an amazing little place to stay! So clean, spotless! It had everything and more that you would need. Lots of space! I was staying in town with someone else, but there was plenty of room for four people, with the queen and two twin beds, two bedrooms. Lots of storage space, full closets, full kitchen, bathroom, even a laundry closet! Loved the little personal touches, the decor, the art, lots of Scotland related decor which I believe was part of the theme. Plently of games for all ages, a large TV, and lots of comfortable seating. The entire place was very comfortable and cozy! I wish I had stayed there too! Didn't get to use anything outside, it rained most of the time they were they, but the outside deck area and firepit looked great too. Parking was good. The location was very easy to find. I could keep saying so much more! 10/10! My family would stay there again and I would too!

The house is so clean nice cozy and the host is very accommodating. The place is so relaxing Over all we enjoyed our stay!

We had a great time at Dookit. The nice welcome by Lynn and the perfect organisation in the apartment made the stay very easy for us. The apartment is very nicely furnished and perfectly equipped. We were even given bread with butter. There was milk and mineral water in the fridge. Simply great. We would book the apartment again at any time.

We had a great experience renting from Lynn at the Dookit. She was there to greet us on arrival to give a run down of the apartment which was great. She was so nice to leave us a little welcome package and was so thoughtful to include a few things for our ten month old daughter. Everything we needed was there in the apartment for cooking, linens etc, and even a pack n’ play and baby bath! It was very tastefully decorated, the heated tile floor was a nice touch! We will definitely be staying there again!
