Our recent stay at the Blue Agave villa was fantastic. The property had everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was well stocked for dining in with a good supply of spices and other staples. There were plenty of chairs, coolers, fins, floaty toys, and an umbrella for our beach visits. The sunsets were as spectacular as described and it was wonderful to watch the sun go down each day as we enjoyed a cocktail while lounging in the pool. We enjoyed the outdoor space immensely. Highly recommend!

Plenty of room for party of 8. Spectacular views!

Beautiful place to stay best suited for 8 adults, or with older children. Great location with easy access to beaches and Cruz Bay.

We loved the view. Every sunset was spectacular. Even when a short storm would blow in it was still beautiful to watch the water and all the bays. They have plenty of beach chairs and swim fins that you’re welcome to borrow. As well as a few beach toys for the kiddos. At the house we saw lots of little lizards/geckos, a very large hermit crab, 3 iguanas, lots of birds, and even a chicken that would randomly pop out from behind the bushes and make me jump each time I went to the laundry room. The kids and I loved all the wildlife and we never saw any inside the house. If traveling with younger kiddos just be aware of the stairs going to downstairs as the downstairs 3 rooms are only accessible via outside. They are steep and can get slippery, but my 3 year old navigated them excellently, we just made him hold onto the side each time. Downstairs the bedrooms are well split up that and they all feel very private. If you haven’t been to St. John before (I was 5 years old the last I was there) do be aware that the roads are very narrow and tons of hills. So although things look like walking distance on a map I would not advise it as there are no sidewalks and it’s very steep. The taxis are great, find one you like and just keep calling them for your transportation needs. My 3 year old loved riding in the open taxis. We did rent a van so that we could fit all 8 of us (6 adults, 2 kids) in 1 vehicle for a few beach days, there is a reason everyone has jeeps there, but we made it!

This was our 18th trip to St John and we have stayed in a variety of accommodations; villas, Westin, small apartment. We look first for a great view, second for easy access to Cruz Bay and north shore beaches. Blue Agave is now our #1 villa. We were 4 adults and 3 children ages 5, 3, and 1. The 3 bedrooms below, though technically not connected, worked well for the 3 kids and their parents. Grandparents were comfortable in the upstairs bedroom. The pool was just the right size for kid swimming. While it took some careful attention to the 1 year old, we all felt safe with the kids and pool. The outdoor space was just right and the kitchen well stocked. Oh, did I mention the view! The access was easy, just past the Westin, and while we always rent Jeeps the road and driveway were not too steep. We would definitely rent again when we come with another group of 8.

Couldn’t have had a better location and the view was stupendous.

Had a fantastic time. The view from the deck, outside dining table and pool were to die for. We never got tired of looking at the views (and sunsets). Rooms were great and the property is centrally located (ie: close enough to the beaches and dining in Cruz Bay but not close enough to hear the sounds of neighboring properties). Which brings up another plus - you could sometimes hear your neighbors in a distance but due to the vegetation - you never saw them. Landscaping was great and we had daily sightings of iguana's and even deer passing thru the yard. Particularly loved the Paraquits (small bird with a bright yellow breast) - almost had one eating out of my hand. Have stayed before in St. Johns but this was the best!!

We enjoyed our time in this great house. The hoist provided everything you need for all the beaches on the island. The kitchen had everything we could need and the ice maker was great. Truly enjoyed everything about our stay and would recommend to anyone. Thanks again!

We had a group of 4 couples and this had a private space for every couple. The patio is phenomenal and the views are stunning. We had a great time cooking out and enjoying the pool after a day at the beach. The property was easy to get to and had enough parking for (2) 4 door jeeps. The property manager Jackie was great to work with. This one will be high on our list to book again.

Blue Agave is a private yet convenient location, just minutes from both Starfish and Dolphin markets. Each room w/ en suite is very private. Kitchen and living area indoors is on the smaller side for a full group of 8 adults, however; outside of cooking, all time is spent on the spacious patio, which offers a mix of sun and shade. The outdoor dining areas make for a great socializing & dinner spot. Sunset views during our April stay were fantastic and easily seen. Not too much to worry about when booking Blue Agave.

We stayed at Blue Agave for a family trip with our two adult kids and their partners. The villa was even better than in the pictures and the view was spectacular. Everything we needed was there and the bedrooms were spacious, private and comfortable. Blue Agave is close to the action in Cruz Bay - short taxi ride - and convenient to the beautiful beaches. Jackie and Michelle were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about restaurants, transportation, logistics and places to visit. This was our first trip to St John and Jackie and Michelle were so quick to respond to the many questions we had!! We highly recommend Blue Agave and would love to come back and stay here again!!

Blue Agave had everything we could have hoped for and more! The view alone is extraordinary. Each room had a private bathroom, had plenty of space, and satisfied all of our needs as a large group with an infant. The kitchen was very well stocked and had everything we needed to prepare meals throughout the week. There were a lot of staples (seasoning, coffee, popcorn) already present that made that first night and morning after a long day traveling that much more comfortable. Jackie even provided a delicious charcuterie tray on arrival! Working with Jackie and Michele throughout our planning process was a breeze. They had answers to all of our questions and excellent suggestions. Dinner at the Inn at Tamarind Court was fantastic - thanks Jackie! Pickup service at Cruz Bay was a nice touch, and Jackie also drove us to get our rental car the day after we arrived. The accommodations at Blue Agave were amazing - and the services provided by Jackie and her team really made the whole experience top notch. We would stay there again without question!

The house had gorgeous views and a fantastic outdoor space with plenty of room, whether you wanted to be in the sun or the shade! The house had everything you could think of to need: kitchen items, towels, beach chairs, coolers and more! The pool was amazing to relax in every afternoon too! And, Jackie was a great property manager and easy to get a hold of and quick to respond! Highly recommend!

Beautiful and perfectly equipped solidly built villa with stupendous views and one of the most accessible and convenient locations on St. John. Mornings spent at beaches with late afternoon and evenings spent in the perfect hillside outdoor space. Well-managed property with attentive response to all questions and issues and everything needed to spend a relaxed week's vacation. Lower three suites provide air conditioned privacy and all needs while the first level suite provides either classic open and breezy sleeping suite or close it up and air condition (We never used the air conditioning there). Within minutes of groceries and downtown Cruz Bay. Longer distances to north beaches but nice drive for those adventures. This is one of the easier hillside locations for access and parking. A wonderful and memorable stay.

Blue agave was beautiful with beautiful views. The pool was nice, my adult children enjoyed it on the warm afternoons. Jackie the manager was great. She met us at the ferry and showed us the house and the town. The kitchen was fully equipped and beds comfortable with air conditioning! Beach towels and chairs were provided so we could enjoy the beautiful beaches. I was sad to leave! I definitely recommend Blue Agave! Great place

The property is exactly as described in the listing. The nearly 180 degree view was great. Jackie, the property manager, was very responsive and did everything possible to rectify problems. We would stay here again. The villa is convenient to Cruz bay and the drive was easy. The patio outside is massive with plenty of shade and sun. The pool was cool but very pleasant once you got in. We enjoyed eating on the outside dining table with beautiful views. It is very private although the lot next door just sold but there is no construction presently.

Communication, arrival and accommodations accurately described. In fact, we all agreed the pool was bigger and deeper than we thought it was going to be! So pleasantly surprised. We will be back!

We were 3 couples visiting St. John for a week of vacation while exploring the beautiful beaches of the island. Blue Agave was everything and more than we anticipated!! The views were breathtaking and the outdoor space perfect for early morning coffee, relaxing after the beach, and sunsets during dinner. We also enjoyed the pool each afternoon. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The kitchen well stocked. The house is absolutely perfect for an awesome vacation!!

This property was perfect for our group of 7 adults and 2 children. The views were amazing and it was so peaceful. We were close to town with all the wonderful and delicious restaurants plus the starfish market. Jackie was the perfect property manager!

Great for families with small children. Having a bedroom in the main area is wonderful. The outside space and views can’t be topped. We never went out to dinner, can’t have the same vibe at a restaurant!

Spectacular views Beautiful property

A very relaxing, family friendly casual home. Beautiful pool and patio area, very hard to leave. Beach chairs and beach towels greatly appreciated. We would definitely return.

This is a very comfortable house with a large deck with spectacular views. It worked well for our family but would serve a group of adults, as well. It is in a great location, near to grocery and other shopping. The managers are very responsive to any needs you may have.

Favorite vacation, from the villa that you didn’t need to leave. Amazing panoramic view. (I loved looking at waves in heart bay) to the drive to a different beach every day. Quick jaunt down to Cruz bay as well.

The common areas were just right fro St. John. We spent most of our times on the deck, whether swimming, lounging, or dining. The air flow between the screens in back and sliders in front made the evening breezes cool everything off in the living/kitchen area. Well stocked kitchen! We did much of our own cooking so this was appreciated. Bedroom setup gave everyone privacy. If/when we go back, I would definitely book there again.

Blue Agave was an absolute dream! Upon arrival off the ferry, the host, Michele, met our group and took us to the house to get settled. Being a group of 8 (4 couples) the house was the perfect set up so we could have our own space and still be part of the group. The views were magnificent, and the layout of the outdoor patios and pool area was perfect. There was ample seating available for outdoor use, and a binder listing any pertinent information about the island from excursions to food was the icing on the cake. The house was clean and well kept. They even had beach towels for us to use, as well as coolers and beach chairs to take to the beach. Our only complaint was that we couldn’t stay longer! We are so thankful we found Blue Agave – it’s definitely a 5-star stay!

Fabulous location with amazing views. Kitchen is well stocked. Bedrooms were great. We ate every dinner in because no place on the island could compare to the view we had. Jackie was so welcoming and had great suggestions for where to shop and places to go. We were very sad to leave. Highly recommend.

This is the perfect house for enjoying St John. The basics of being well equipped and very comfortable are covered. But the views, the pool, the breezes, and the location set this property apart from others!
