Before my family and I arrived, I had already contacted the host to ask about the grill. He kindly informed me that he would make sure the gas tank was full before we arrived. Once we arrived, we were so pleasantly surprised by how clean it was and that there were even toys for children in the back room along with everything that we needed. Multiple times our family said we would love to come back and stay longer next time. The host even came over and helped us with the fire pit. Loved every minute and it was a wonderful addition to my mother's 60th birthday celebration. Thank you for everything!

This house felt like a second home for me and my family. It had the best beds and out door area. Truly will come back if we return to the area. 10/10 would recommend

This house was perfect for our family beach trip! My teens take turns cooking dinner and the kitchen had everything they needed. It was clean, comfortable, and close to all our favorite spots. The only disappointment was the 15-minute walk to the beach.

The temp control of a/c display would shut down to “recharge the battery” so the whole a/c unit would shut down with it. We spent 2 nights and parts of both days in august without a key amenity that was advertised with property rental. I have sent multiple emails to the company that handles the rental of this property about my dissatisfaction. They few times they have responded, they have been doing what a company does when they don’t want to to take responsibility. Honestly, I think this issue with a/c has been happening before us, but they were trying to get through the summer before repairs of a/c. I am not one of those ppl that write reviews, but I want to warn future renters about this. Ppl like me that spend their hard earned money for this vacation house that does not have a/c or heat. If u want to be comfortable on vacation, this is not the house.

This property was very nice and very clean!! Fully stocked with everything you would need! The property manager, Bryan, was phenomenal! Communication was amazing, not to mention he was very helpful! Our family enjoyed the stay and will definitely stay here again when we visit Oak Island!

The house was really clean and spacious inside and tastefully decorated. The screened in porch was nice and the neighborhood was quiet and just a 10-15 minute walk to the beach. If I had any questions communication was easy and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

The house was neglected looking. All the outdoor spaces were not nice or comfortable. The pictures online made everything looks so much nicer inside. It just was not our cup of tea and on top of that we had bad weather.

We were so thrilled to find this quaint lil house not from the beach.... it was 1 story which was great for me and some of our visiting family. Our 3 grandkids truly loved the bunk beds w the trundle bed. And all the beds were so comfortable! And the coffee gift was wonderful..I really wish we could had a few extra days to explore the island a lil more! Thank you so much.. The Nuckols Clan

Check in was simple and easy, the place was wonderful and very close to the beach, it was an easy walk and drive. Beautiful inside, I would definitely recommend to anyone. We had a group of work friends (all 25+) and we had an awesome time. This was my first time using VRBO and the process was super easy, I would visit again and stay here!

Overzealous Police!!
We enjoyed staying at this property. Due to an overzealous Oak island police officer however, we will not return to Oak Island again!!

Special Family weekend
We had family come together from Ga, Tenn and Uruguay.. it was a perfect location and home for us to enjoy and close to Leland where we visited more local family… thank you for helping us make memories

Great property for a large family!
Overall experience was very good. Only negative is the propane tank for the grill was empty and the inside of the grill could really use a good cleaning. This is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5.
