The place is quiet and in a very nice neighborhood and try the bagel shop a few doors down! If you are over 5’10” tall you need to be aware there’s a low drywall wrapped beam you must duck underneath to get to the main bedroom/living area. Very clean. We would stay again if we went to NYC.

Stayed here and took the bus into the city for all the Xmas fun. It’s cute clean and it was perfect for me and my daughter

Very clean, attention to detail

We stayed 4 nights at this cozy studio! However, we were hardly there except to sleep because we spent our days with family. We walked a few blocks to the shopping area with lots of diversity of cultures and foods! There was a great little bagel shop just down from the studio that served a large variety of bagels and cream cheeses, sandwiches too! 😊

Clean, comfortable, homey studio in a great location. Everything was as perfect as it seemed online. Host is welcoming and very accommodating. Kitchen is compact and contains everything one needs. The bed is comfortable, and the clean bathroom is excellent. Highly recommend this property and we will return for another incredible stay!

This place was exactly what I expected. The description and the reviews are very accurate! Sandeep was very accomodating with my request for an early check in and was very easy to communicate with. Keep in mind that this is in the basement of someone’s home, so there will be some creaks and sounds coming from upstairs when someone walks, but it’s not a big deal! Can’t beat the location that’s for sure! I would definitely stay again my next visit.

The listing is exactly as described. It is well maintained and minutes from a lovely street with shops and restaurants. The studio is nicely decorated and well. The owner is always available and very helpful. We had no issues. 100% we would stay here again and would recommend this place to others.

It was a good trip, even though their was a slight issue with the tenant I think it was resolved amicably. It was clean, quiet and private.

Perfect location for our needs, walking distance for bagels, pizza and burgers. Owner greeted us upon arrival and asked if anything was needed. Property is well lite, both outside and inside (motion activated). Studio is clean and as pictured. Would stay again.

I spent a little over two weeks at this property. I lived and worked in Montclair in the 70's and 80's and wanted a convenient place to reconnect with family and friends. I highly recommend this property. First, it is a great value for the money considering comfort, convenience, off-street parking, and location. There is much to do within walking distance. Second, the host was most accommodating and responded quickly when I had a question. Even before I arrivied, I had inquired about a Keurig coffee machine. He didn't have one, but procured one in time for my stay. Also, while there, I fell while taking a walk in the community. I needed some basic first aid supplies and the host immediately provided some alcohol, bandaids and ointment which was all I needed. He then checked in with me to make sure that I was doing ok. The host seems to genuinely enjoy welcoming his guests and ensuring that they are comfortable. I would definitely return in the future.

I went to NJ to work and pleasure with may daughter. I recommend this place. The location is perfect (walking distance from grocery and restaurants), well decorated and the landlord is fantastic. I felt at home

Everything was wonderful about this place except for a smell of gas, old pipes is what I was told but quite unpleasant. I had planned a day after travel to able to stay at the rental to rest and work from Home. That was not able to happen for I woke with a migraine and notified the owner. He seemed to care very much and told me there was carbon monoxide detectors in the space. All I wanted to do was be out of the place as much as possible. I even slept with the one window open with it being in the 20-30 degrees outside because the smell was so bad. I think it could be better if there was an air filter in the space or even some plants. This was the nicest owner who came to greet me when I arrived but I’d never stay here again because of the smell.

Just as advertised! Comfortable basement room with kitchenette and private bath. The hosts live upstairs but I only saw them once to wave at them in the driveway. Very comfortable and several restaurants and a mini-mart are just two doors down (500 feet according to Waze). This was perfect for two nights while working in Newark-just a 30 minute drive away from the city. Also very convenient to NYC. Not a complaint, but being a basement room and having stayed in late fall it was a bit chilly. Host provided an electric space heater which worked well. Definitely bring the space heater in the bathroom for your shower. Overall a really good experience, I would absolutely stay here again next time I’m working nearby.

Easy check in, convient parking We stayed here while seeing two shows at the Wellmont. It was a very easy 20 minute walk. Lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Safe nieghborhood.

Sandeep was very attentive to our needs even when Montclair lost power at 2 am. We enjoyed his interest as we shared our daily experiences. The apartment met all our expectations and more.

Sundeep was a great host. No issues, the property is a basement apartment that is cozy and perfect for a couple that needs space if you’re visiting jersey. We went to a wedding at the Art Facorty in Patterson and it was less than 20 minutes away and the Uber was under $20. The willow brook mall is 15 minutes away driving and if you are a walker like me, EVERYTHING you could possibly need/ want is under a mile away on Bloomfield Ave. there's also a small strip of stores beside the property with a bodega, restaurant etc.,. Point is, everything you need is right there. Sundeep was responsive, we enjoyed him as a host and even his neighbors were friendly. Highly recommend if you need A place to stay close to NYC/ north jersey area. Newark airport is about 30 minutes away (faring no traffic)

We were visiting family in the area. So nice to have a place easy to access with a great bed and off street parking. We got a chance to talk with the owners who asked if there was anything we needed. Everything was clean and what we needed was provided.
