Beautiful property! The views from the deck were unbelievable. Lots of space for our dogs to roam outside in the yard and lots of space inside for our family and my sister’s family. Convenient to restaurants and tourist attractions. I would definitely stay again!

Elk Hill Retreat is perched atop a hill about 6 min from the Sugar Mountain resort, offering panoramic scenes that will make your jaw drop. I'm talking about waking up to the sun kissing the peaks and winding down with the most breathtaking sunset you can imagine. It's like Mother Nature decided to show off, and Elk Hill is the front-row seat.We were a group of 11, and there was room for everyone and then some. No elbow-jabbing or awkward bathroom sharing situations here. The property is spacious, both inside and out. The living areas are cozy without feeling cramped, and the bedrooms – oh, the bedrooms! Comfy beds, fresh linens – they nailed the whole "home away from home" vibe.But the real MVPs were the thoughtful touches. Board games? Check. Bedding? Check. Dishes, cooking utensils, and spices? We stayed at this Elk Hill Retreat home, overall the home/neighborhood is pretty good, located on top of a steep hill with great views. Bathrooms are kind of dated. The check in process was kind of hectic as check in as at 4pm and we did not get to have access until almost an hour later (and check out at 10 sharp) the lady at the management office was very busy and was getting slammed with calls.

We stayed here over a weekend to go to App St football game with family. Was perfect for what we needed.

We were a group of 10 girls and felt like there was more than enough space for everyone. The wrap around deck and view was breathtaking and unbeatable.
