Super-zentral und sehr günstig. Das war das kleinste Zimmer, das wir je gebucht haben. Aber für 1 Nacht perfekt! Die Abwicklung und die Kommunikation war super. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Sobald man das Zimmer betritt, wird man von einem starken Geruch nach altem Rauch und Zigaretten empfangen, trotz mehrmaligem Lüften ließ sich der Gestank nicht vertreiben. Das Zimmer lag zudem direkt neben der Hauptstraße und war dadurch sehr laut, selbst wenn das Fenster geschlossen war. Der Rauchgeruch war so intensiv, dass es unmöglich war, im Zimmer etwas zu essen. Am nächsten Tag rochen meine Kleidung und meine Haare nach Rauch.
Das Bett war unglaublich unbequem, und allgemein hatte man nicht das Gefühl, dass das Zimmer sauber war. Die Ecken waren voller Staub. Auf meine Anfrage, ob ein vergessener Gegenstand im Zimmer per Post auf meine Kosten zurückgeschickt werden könnte, habe ich nach Monaten keine Antwort erhalten.
Es erstaunt mich wirklich, positive Bewertungen für dieses Hotel zu lesen. Ich würde dringend davon abraten und lieber ein paar Euro mehr ausgeben, um in einer Unterkunft ohne Rauchgeruch zu übernachten.

Location was alright to stay there for a night. Nothing exciting, just a bed, a bathroom and a table you cant really call a table, because its small as hell. But if you are fine with that, it's alright.
The location is not able to send an invoice until this day(almost 6 weeks since my stay)... I am not even sure if they are just to lazy or if they can not make one, because they are avoiding taxes or something like this... Haven't heard of the owner since I asked for the invoice, so...

Great location - very near to the city centre and the station. The room was clean, the bathroom very nice, comfortable bed. There was a (common) kitchen with basic equipment. The windows had blinds, so it was possible to darken the room very efficiently. Lots of sockets to charge devices. The plastic mat for wet shoes was a really nice touch.
Room from the street side, so the cars were hearable but not loud (calm street).

Great central location in attractive town. Parking under apartment in private courtyard. Clean, simple room. Felt safe and secure.

Staff was extremely helpful, our flight was delayed and we only arrived after midnight but there was no issue with check-in, the key was left in a locked box and we received the PIN by email. Room was a bit cold when we arrived but with the heater it was no problem. Bed was quite comfortable.
Location was perfect, right in the center of Detmold and we were very close to where we needed to be in the morning.
Walls are a bit thin and we could hear the couple next door at 2am, but since we were quite sleepy it wasn't much of an issue. I can't blame the apartment since it's a human problem and not a business one.

It was really close to the hbf and the theater where I was auditioning. I did have to call because the heat the second evening wasn't turning on and it was very cold but in less then 10 minutes the gentleman had it fixed.
The toilet is a little high. I am not short but maybe getting a squaty potty for the room might find itself useful for those shorter guests.

the room is on the ground floor,window next to the pedestrian boardwalk and the busy street(car noise)....couldn't sleep-so noisy.....also,no aircondition in the room.....

The hotel has no personnel, so you get a code for the key in advance of your arrival. It's easy and efficient. There's parking at the location. Beds are comfi (not too soft), bathroom is modern and everything is clean.
Quiet neighbourhood.
There's no sign on the building, so we were a bit hesitant to go around the back of the building. The rooms are quite small, so if I would have been here on holiday, I would have wanted some more comfort. Since I was just there for 1 night, it was perfect.
